I came to HD looking for a set of tools to fix a broken bed. I had just lost all my tools. Sam listened carefully and helped me replace 80% of my tools with modern, more portable versions and taught me about the husky lifetime warranty.

This store had excellent customer service.

Darryl helped us attract a toll tag to our car. He was so kind and helpful. What a wonderful store that employs such nice people.

They did everything to make the shopping convenience great.👍👍

Love this Home Depot

Checked online for a new entry door. Made the appointment to have it measured. Was notified by email that the measurements were taken and when asked that the next steps were, the person (Arielle) was less than helpful… only to say that she doesn’t work in the stores. When calling her extension, it would always go into her voicemail and never heard back from her.

Everything was great

After being sworn at by an employee and the employee walking away from me, I spoke with the store manager Flo who told me she would take my complaint into consideration. Apparently the staff member Khalia decided she was having a bad day and took it out on me, swearing at me and walking away, “since she wasn’t even on the clock”. I stopped in because it was convenient to somewhere I was going, but I don’t feel the need to ever return there again Find peace in what you do. If customer service isn’t your gig, I appreciate it. But don’t have a bad attitude with people who are simply asking you to do the bare minimum.

Bought home in 2018 and have had to purchase a great many things and most have been at Home Depot. They are convenient and always helpful - and after a while they started calling me by name because they recognized me. Great service

I have been going to this store for over 15 years. It is always clean and orderly and the staff is always very friendly and helpful. The Downers Grove store definitely stands out compared to other Home Depots. They always have items in stock. I will keep shopping here for years to come!

I am a do it yourselfer, and have had the best form of help thru homedepot employees of Downers Grove store #1916. from flooring to painting to leaking pipes (see Chris). Best customer service around.

Went in to get three things. I was greeted and directed to the exact aisle and bay for each item. In and out in 15 minutes!!!

I bought a power washer and wand extension this week. It was a refreshing and uplifting experience, that may sound odd but it was gratifying! The service staff made my day, I was in and out, happy I had stopped by.

I recently had a problem after purchasing an item for sale for in store pickup. Talked to a customer service rep on the phone and they were no help. My delivery was refused do to damage of the packaging and they told me I was out of luck and that I was out of luck and if I wanted the tools I would have to purchase them separately and at full price. I went in to the Downers Grove IL location to see if they could help me out. I talked to a manager by the name of Alysha and she was more than helpful. I explained my dilemma and she was more than happy to help. She was understanding of my problem, and helped me out right away. She was extremely understanding, friendly, and actually seemed as if she wanted to help me out because of the previous dilemma! Always loved going to Home Depot and she made the experience 10x better because of her great customer service! Thanks again Alysha, extremely satisfied!

The title says it all! I have shopped at this location for years and the employees have always been pleasant and helpful, and items are usually in stock. They have a large garden section with a good selection of plants.

I didn’t have to search very long for anyone to help me. Dilip (cashier) was so accommodating and helpful! Cheerful personality so refreshing!

Store was very clean. Staff were very professional, helpful and knowledgeable of their products and services.
