Employees at the Ell River store made us feel like we were dealing with trusted neighbors!

If you need to order flooring of any kind, Shane is great to work with. We started out at the Monticello location and were turned away and were told that they couldn't help us, even though we had everything that we needed to have to place an order. We decided to go to the Elk River store in hopes that they could help us there. At first we were told that they couldn't order the carpet because the measure was done at Monticello and not Elk River. That is beyond frustrating for customers that you have a service done at one location and cannot go to another location to place an order. If it weren't for Shane, Home Depot would not have had our business. He said he would try to get the order placed for us since we were already told no at one location and drove to another. He went above and beyond to get the order placed for us. He had to make multiple phone calls, sat on hold because the system need attention from IT and had even more issues with their software and processes. We sat there for 2 HOURS with Shane to get our carpet order placed. We were NEVER addressed by a store manager or an assistant manager for all our troubles and time spent in their store, even though they walked by multiple times and were even called over by Shane to answer a question that he had. Very disappointing. If it weren't for Shane's hard work, patience and willingness to get our order placed, we would have NEVER used Home Depot for our carpet replacement in our home. Shane deserves all the credit in this situation and did a great job, even though it took his entire morning, when it shouldn't have. Home Depot has some serious work to do to update their systems, software and provide some better customer service. They are only getting a 4 star review because of their employee that wasn't willing to give up.

I have not been disappointed with the available stock! Dan in electrical was a big help with under-cabinet led's.

Stopped in with a short list of items. Immediately greeted with a friendly young woman who explained where I could find various things. She also called co-workers to areas to let them know I would need assistance. Employees in electrical/lighting, painting and power tools--very helpful!

Right when I came in, I was greeted by a friendly employee his name was Gavin he was quick to help me get where I needed to be then he passed the baton to Matt and he helped me out happily.

My husband and I were buying a new microwave and Stan and Tina went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. We had a gift card that was showing 0 balance that we never used and Stan did not hesitant to look it up and find it was used in another state, he took care of us and made sure we were refunded and given our new gift card.

We came in looking for a washing machine and left with a very affordable good quality product that was much less than we expected to pay.

Great customer service, went out of their way to make sure everything was correct.

My husband and I visit many big box stores like this and always feel the associates at the Elk River store has the best associates! Always friendly, always helpful!

I was greeted by Stan and Alicia and was asked how was my day going and if I needed any help. I had great service while checking out at customer service by Austin S. I will continue to shop here as they beat the pricing of the product that I need.

Horrible management the watch as multiple employees struggle to do an exchange without a restoring fee. The gave pointers and were openly disregarded which caused no recourse for the employees nor did management step in to physically assist. Just an over all confusing interaction that left me wondering how you stay in business with that style of leadership

Robert in lumber was extremely helpful, polite and knowledgeable. He dropped what he was doing and helped me cut some lumber for my project.

We found ourselves in a pickle following Christmas with our clothes washer dying on us. We were happily met by very knowledgeable and helpful staff. They were able to get us in and out in a jiffy with the items we needed. We highly recommend this store and their amazing staff to help you with any appliance needs.

I bought the material for a new deck on September 5th and it was delivered 2 weeks later right on time. The deck was trex brand and it looks beautiful.It's nice when the things come in on time and when we came home from our vacation the deck was done. Thanks Eddie and Judy Greenwaldt

I shopped at several stores in this community and was unable to find the product I was looking for until I came to Home Depot and was helped by Lydia Suiter. She refused to give up when looking for a product for me. She looked it up, brought me to it, and rang up my sale. Her service was excellent.

I received excellent help from Tami with my questions about window blinds. She wanted to be sure I had answers to any and all of my questions. I also wanted to acknowledge how nice and friendly Brenna at the checkouts was. You have very nice and helpful employees at this store.

We have been buying blinds for our house and the employees are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They helped us quickly and made sure everything would fit after they were cut.

I needed a grill before the Fourth of July weekend started. My local St Cloud store did not have what I wanted in stock, but said I might be able to get it at Elk River. I called Elk River to check what they had in stock and Tracy said let her check and call her back. When I did, she said she found one for me still in the box And her forklift driver Carl secured it for me so it would be there when I got there and it turned into a very pleasant visit in spite of the 50 mile trip. Being elderly I didn’t know if I would be able to get it into the back of my jeep and the young gentleman named Alex jumped to help not only bring it to the car, but put it in the back and secured it for me. I would go back there in a minute if I need something again!
