I recently moved from the White Bear area to the Elk River area, and was amazed during my first and subsequent visits to the Home Depot here to see how friendly and helpful the staff were. I haven't experienced this at any other location. Usually it's a hunt to find someone to assist, and they usually seem inconvenienced, but at the Elk River store pretty much everyone I meet is friendly and ready to help, and they seem to genuinely appreciate my business. Really glad this location is so conveniently location near my home!

McKenna was very friendly and took the time to walk me to the products I was looking for.

I went in to return an defective item expecting a hassle, it was everything but that. Sarah was working the returns area "by herself" trying to help multiple people, appeared to be overwhelmed but remained cool. Once it was my turn she was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and very fast while doing it and simultaneously making sure everyone is satisfied. I'm disappointed in management for leaving their employees to fend for themselves among impatient customers, hire more people like Sarah! Or at least pay them what they're worth, because whatever they're getting paid it is surely not worth what they're doing for it. I hope to see a change soon!

I recently purchased a washing machine. I was very impressed with Brian the customer service rep. He answered my many questions regarding the different machines. He also made sure I understood the process when I received my washer. He said if I wasn't happy in anyway I could feel free to return it. He made my experience a great one.

Every time I visit the elk river Home Depot location the custom service is always a great experience ! The employees are always so friendly and helpful if I have if I have a question or need help finding a product ! I am a remodeling contractor and I have a contractor account and will continue to buy all my supplies at Home Depot !

The Elk River Home Depot has the best contractor services and lumber desk team of any home improvement store I've visited. They routinely help me with huge orders of drywall. I've been in the business 30 years and these guys are simply the best. At other stores it's often very hard to get a hand loading. Keep up the great work!

Each time I go into this store - I have had knowledgeable help - sometimes you have to hunt down the person per department you need help in - but once you find them - they have answered all of my questions and seem sincere about helping a person out!

The workers here really helped me out last week. They were very understanding and worked with me to solve a return/exchange problem I had and spent a lot of time helping me. I will be coming back to this one

I frequent this home depot at least once a week sometimes 2-3 times a week. I have grown to know the employees, as they have me as well, which I enjoy. What I do not enjoy is the loss prevention employee consistently following me around even after seeing all the time use the registers, he should be a little bit better about sneaking around the first time I saw him I knew he was loss prevention. If Home Depot would like I could give him some pointers. normally I don't think this would bother a person but me being a combat veteran the knowledge of someone following me definitely puts me on edge. Also causes my anxiety to go up which then in terms causes my shopping experience to not be as pleasant. I understand his job is to make his presence known but he should do that and move on especially knowing I'm in there multiple times a weeks and always pay, anyways like i said i could show him a thing or 2 on being sneaky.

Clean, well organized and the customer service is excellent. Very welcoming to older women.

Pro Desk is a joke Customer service is nonexistent Cannot complete orders set up a day in advance for a pick up by the customer Do not use this store if you have anywhere to be by a set time Plan on teaching the associates what products you ordered and paid for No accountability from the bottom to the manager Cannot give a zero star rating

This Home Depot is one of three stores in my area I can choose to shop at. The Elk River store always seems to have all the items I need for a project in stock vs most of what I need.

Shopping for interior paints for the home. Good selection of color samples. Paint sales lady very helpful. We bought two small sample containers of paint we were considering to try on the walls - before buying gallon cans. A good way to be assured the colors were what we wanted. We will return to Home Depot to buy the three gallons of paint we need. Clean store, and very helpful staff.

Purchased carpet and was told a wknd was aval in feb. They do not install on wknds I found out after the measure and payment I had to cancel everything very disappointed

My Home store is in Maplewood MN. But I work in Elk River. I enjoy coming to this store and try to plan things to try and stop here whenever I can. Every associate I have dealt with at this site are helpful, friendly and seem to enjoy what they are doing. GREAT STORE....

If you need assistance with flooring, you MUST go see Sara S. (flooring specialist)! I just left the store needing several types of flooring for a remodel of my entire home: she was knowledgeable, kind, friendly, and thorough. I was also assisted by the manager, Doug, who was available and willing to go back and forth across the store with me. The store was clean, associates were easy to find, and all of the products I needed were stocked.
