Had what we needed while another store in the area did not. Ordered the item online for store pickup and it was ready within a couple hours! Friendly staff all over the place as well!

Jeffrey Whittman provided amazing customer service by helping us in the lumber area, by cutting up 5 pieces of 8x4 plywood. We had multiple cuts per board, and he did a fantastic job cutting them. He even kept the “scrap” separate from the actual pieces we needed. Thank you so much, this was the best experience we have ever had here. Our expectations were so far exceeded, and we want you to make sure and recognize Jeffrey!

Gregg Runyon, sales associate was so helpful. He knew where to find what I was looking for (4 hard to find items!) and with a great attitude. His customer service was 10/10. Look for him when you are there.

Love this work bench. It's big enough to fit all my tools and then some. The locking drawers and cabinets are very convenient to keep the little ones from getting into trouble with the tools inside.Build quality is great. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. Definitely talk to Jim McCormick he is very knowledgeable and will get you squared away.

Home Depot seems to have more employees available to provide assistance and answer questions.

The associates were very friendly. I was greeted by an associate when I walked in the door. I was able to find someone right away to help me with my purchase.

The level of customer service at this store is EXCELLENT. I really enjoyed the personalized customer service while I shopped for a Storm Door. Truly unlike many other hardware stores. We are all going through tough times right now, with COVID-19 and so much discourse in our country. As an African American woman, I was treated with the utmost respect, no different than any other customer. It may be sad that I feel a need to share this minor detail of my visit, but it is important to also recognize the positive (little things) during these difficult times.

The store was not enforcing mask wearing. There were multiple clients without masks shopping as if nothing was going on. I even saw a store employee assist a client, who was not wearing a mask. Nobody seemed to enforce it.

Do not get an item without a sku/price tag or they will expect you to go back and take a picture of the item. If you order a measure online for a patio door the company that comes out does not install items sold in the store. So if you want something in the store they will tell you their product is better.

Great customer service. Employees helpful and cashier Patty friendly and helpful! I was in and out in no time will most all of what I needed. Please restock comman staples.

The Elk River Store is clean and efficient. I find it easy to shop and if I ever get lost there is always a friendly face ready to help. The people at this store have always been helpful to me. I enjoy doing projects around the house but my husband doesn’t enjoy doing them as much. So I have found the expert help of the staff at Elk River Home Depot so valuable as I figure out how to manifest my plans. As a woman its nice to be able to ask all sorts of questions without someone making you feel stupid. I have always left knowing I had everything I needed for my project and the confidence and knowledge to complete it. These are wonderful people. I’m so grateful for every one of them❣️

This store rocks! The staff actually know what they are talking about. They show you where something is. The best you get at the other home improvement store in town is "If we have that, it would be over there (pointing)." The people in the plumbing department understand plumbing. Same with small tools and lumber.

Trevor at the self checkout is very rude. We had a clearance rug that we scanned but because it had a clearance sticker it requires the approval codes of an associate. Trevor came over and held his hand out for the scanner, I didn't know what he wanted at first since he didn't speak one word to us, after giving another hand jester yet again without speaking I realized he wanted the scanner so I handed it over, he had to scan the item twice then THREW the scanner down in front of the screen turn around and walked away. Never said anything to us. I was shocked he didn't hand the scanner back not knowing if we had more items to scan and not even saying hi or have a good day. Somebody needs to have a serious talk with him because knowbody needs to be that rude for any reason.

We were treated rudely by the staff and told to move from a section they wanted to stock and made us feel like we had to move quickly and unsafely. They stood around and watched us move heavy boards without assistance or offering to get a cart to help speed up the process. The shelves weren’t properly labeled or labeled in logical way because we were told a checkout that we looked at the shelf wrong when we inquired about the difference in price from what we originally thought. Since we couldn’t go back to that section and were frustrated, we paid and left for good. Overall, store was clean and WELL stocked. Also— barely any staff and customers were wearing masks... seems irresponsible and a lack of care for staff and customers during a global pandemic. Just saying.
