This store does have some great employees that are very helpful. The only problem with this store is Home Depot does not have adequate associates on the sales floor. The store is dirty and not well organized. Most of the departments have an out-of-stock condition, which is a sad state of affairs. The lumber department is poorly maintained and not priced. You need to bring a tape measure since many of the items are in the wrong location or have had other pieces of lumber left there by customers. It's sad.

So my review did not meet your standards. Really! Home Depot has no standards. The majority of people who work there are clueless anyway. The product I paid for was delivered damaged. So I’m not allowed to complain about that.

There are several employees here that really help improve the process! Tamara and Vanessa are always standouts.

I like shopping at this store.I have all my home improvement done by HOME DEPOT,like hardwood floor , window shutters ,marble tiles for my sunroom , paverstone for the front and backyard,and now the security door installation for my main door.I am fully satisfied with all their works at my house. Job well done.

Several years ago I reduced my shopping at this location, mainly due to lack of employee helpfulness. It has greatly improved and I go out of my way to shop there in spite of the fact that there is a competitor much closer to my home.

Good customer service

I generally know what I want and can pick up mostly any product on my own with no assistance but this time I wanted flooring and even though I could have ordered it online I did not want to lose the 10% Military discount. I asked 3 times for assistance yet nobody showed up. I recommend that you 1st go to customer service and wait there for an assistant to come to you or your more than likely going to wait for a while.

Many of the sales associates at this location walk right by the customers with no notice.

I was very pleasantly surprised at the overall improvement of the store. The employees were polite and helpful.

The Fairfield Home depot is well stocked and the associates are both friendly and knowledgeable about their job. Parking is pretty decent and even more so items are well stocked and east to find.

Great customer service. Women friendly store. Clean. Vibrant, smiling cashiers. Garden is very organized. Wood cutters will do it willingly.

The products were easy to find. I received immediate assistance. Associates were friendly and very helpful.

After an employee paged someone overhead to assist me in the paint section, I waited for approximately 10 minutes with no assistance received. The store was not busy (8:00am) and I watched several employees walking around as I stood in the same spot at the paint counter. The self check-out cashier looked at me at least 3 times but never followed up on any type of assistance. No other employee offered assistance. I left my paint behind and left the store. (Commercial Account holder).

My experience on this visit was the best I've had at any large store of this kind. Customer service, special appreciation for my time, and having quality plants available were all positives.

Great shopping experience, which I do about 3 times a week. Love this store. Employees are the best, selection is always good. Only twice in over 9 years have they not carried something I was looking for. And customer service? This store exchanged a GE stove which had a factory defect 2 days before Thanksgiving in 2017. GE wouldn't consider doing that and had a plumber call me to make an appointment 3 weeks out. Who can host Thanksgiving with a defective stove? GE has lost a customer, but Home Depot provided above and beyond service, with no notice and saved the day. I can't speak highly enough of this store.

Guaranteed worst service ever. They refuse to follow the law and cash out gift cards under $10, not merchandise cards yes gift cards. And they require ID for returns with the receipt with a purchase with a gift card even though it's not a merchendise card, yes bought with cash gift card .horrible place to shop
