Th store was clean, the clerks were helpful and very professional

The employees at this store #2802 were awesome. Each employee I can across said hello to me. This store should be a role model for other Home Depot stores in the area. I would like to recognize one employee Mr. Frank Schwart in the plumbing depart. As a DIY, sometimes you feel dumb to ask someone for guidance, not with Mr. Schwart. The man has a servant's heart. Thank you, Mr. Schwart, for a great shopping experience today.

My man milton in the paint department had all the answers and I ask a lot of questions. His patience and kindness was very comforting. He really made my day and shopping experience comfortable and I left feeling confident that with his expertise advice that I will have no problems completing my first full exterior paint job.

We have been very lucky over the past 15 years or so to find employees who go above and beyond to share ideas with us on how to best solve a problem. It would be easy to just send you to the correct aisle for what you are looking for, but we have been given some great tips and ideas over the years.

Alyssa in the flooring Dept was especially helpful, knowledgable and friendly, when choosing our carpet. Christina at the Service Desk was professional, proficient, and personable.

Everything is generally in stock. The employees are always courteous and helpful. The store is easy to access and everything is where you expect it to be.

As a homeowner in North Minneapolis I'm so pleased with the location of this store. Home Depot has always came through in the clutch for me and for my home improvement projects I'm sticking with them.

Went there to get some conduit and the Sales Associate, Sean from Plumbing assisted us. We needed this cut down for a DIY project I was working on using the conduit to build curtain rods and it saved me the extra expense of buying a wire cutter. I picked up 2 different diameters and he verified that this was what I had wanted prior to cutting. He also smoothed down the rough edges pointing out additional grooves I had not seen that also needed to be smoothed down. Quality Customer service has always been important and the reason my husband and I have shopped at HD for decades. Numerous occasions I have come across friendly, knowledgeable people at HD that know the trade that is unequal in the other big box store competitors. Being also in Architecture & Construction I really appreciate this. Sean is a huge asset to HD and represents the quality customer service that keeps us coming back to HD. Thanks again Sean, we will be back.

You need help with tools or construction equipment? I strongly recommend Kris Martinson. No better person ever have I dealt with. Fantastic person and personality. Even had someone else help to get a hammer drill set aside for me while he never left my wife and my side to maintain helping us. Great store and was clean too

The associate, Christina, at the frontdesk was very friendly and courteous by taking and sending me a picture of the receipt in email. They matched the price for me because the item is sold at a lower price in another store. Thank you!!

I like this store because it seems to be less busy and you get help more easily. Everyone that I have engaged with has always been very friendly and helpful. The store is always clean and organized and they have the products that I want.

Duane in Plumbing is great and extremely helpful. Duane helped me learn how to solder copper piping and install my basement laundry sink to replace the old one in a day. I was able to use my water again that night. Great person.

Since moving to Fridley I frequently visit Home Depot and the staff are always friendly knowledgeable and helpful for all my needs. I highly recommend The Home Depot in Fridley, MN.

Worst delivery process...

So long story and probably more details than I need to include but I wanted to share my experience and how much it meant to me. I went into Home Depot with my husband and our 2.5 year old and 3 month old. We split up to try and get out of there ASAP because our toddler was hungry and tired and he let the whole store know. Anyway, I went to go get wood. I walked around the wood area and didn’t see any free employees so I went up by the door to ask if either (the two employees up there) Brad or Karen could help me. They promptly called an employee to help me. In the mean time, we were just chit-chatting. They were very friendly but nothing extraordinary right then. Wood guy comes and Brad follows us and we are all talking and both helped me pick out the type of wood I needed. I needed to get some wood to hang my TV on my wall (it was a lattice structure with plaster over the top so I wanted to ensure it covered a lot of surface area to disperse the weight). Brad asked why I needed it and I told him. We were discussing cutting it and he asked if I could just cut it at home since I could make sure I got it very accurate because I would have the TV mount to compare it to because it would stink if I cut it at the store and had to go home and it didn’t work. I informed him that we did not have a saw because we haven’t been able to afford it yet. I am a teen mom and full time student (21 and about to graduate with my degree in psychology so I can be a clinical therapist to provide in-home services to at-risk children who do not have access to a clinic aka inner city and minority children who experience abuse or neglect and CPS refers the family to a therapist) and my husband just graduated and got a job and bought a house so we are on an extreme budget to say the least because I am enrolling in Harvard to finish my graduate school, which is beyond expensive. Brad said that we need to start a tool collection if we are going to be home owners and he wanted to help us out because he knew what it was like being a young parent. I was awestruck. While he went to go grab some tools, I went back and was talking with Karen. We were talking about schooling and children and I had a lovey conversation with her (she absolutely loves her job by the way, she told me how much she missed working and that she found a job she looks forward to going to every time). Then Brad came back and helped me check out with Emily. I got to the car and told my husband what happened and he started to tear up. We spent almost our entire Christmas budget on a tool to help unclog our drains at the house we moved into about a week ago and were devastated. Now, because of brad, we are able to get additional tools to help on our homeowner adventure. Although we still had to spend a lot to get the drain tool, we left that store in tears of joy. I called my step-dad (who lives way west of Minnetonka) while crying, and I told him what just happened. He vowed to only go to this location to support your store and to tell his friend how wonderful and helpful your employees were. Brad and Karen helped make our Christmas and I couldn’t be more happy with my experience and for the events which occurred tonight. This store has some of the most fantastic employees. Thank you for hiring such amazing people. I will recommend your specific store to every person I know who is looking for a hardware store. I can not even express my appreciation and gratitude for your employee Brad for providing us with such an amazing Christmas surprise and Karen for the wonderful and heartfelt conversation we had. All I ask is for you to ensure they know how much they are appreciated and needed! If it weren’t for them, I would have only had an ‘average’ store experience of getting what I need and promptly leaving. Instead, I had an experience I will never forget.

When ever I visit someone is always ready to help find whatever I need. Some examples: Frank in plumbing, Shaun in hardware,paint, floor covering, any dept, any need! If you don't have it, someone has an answer. '

The store was clean and organised.

I encountered more than one helpful employee that ensured I left today with the snow blower I wished to purchase. Chuck and his co-workers in Fridley made sure that I could finish my shopping for the two deal items that I needed without having to visit another location by checking through the inventory to identify the products that I needed, and then went the extra mile helping me load the snow blower into my truck, including some creative modification to the packaging to get all of my purchases to fit! Great customer service experience in Fridley here today!

The store is clean, there enough lighting so you could walk around. The computer is slow. When I was making my order in the store on Cub Cedet 3x 30' 420 cc snow blower with electric start.

I go to the Home Depot in Fridley all the time and have gotten to know a lot of staff there. The good news is there are people that have worked there for a long time so they have great information to share. I also had the luck one day of having the assistant store manager help me with paint specifically for the type of paint. It was great advice and worked out very well for my project. I also have used Home Depot a lot of online purchases such as power tools, light fixtures, etc. The huge advantage is that I can take things back to the store if they don’t work out.

Negative 3 stars. The management at this store is a joke. The "second in comand" is the most incompetent manager Ive ever came across. Im supprised they would let this Lady clean the bathrooms much less talk with customers and manage a store. I will never step foot In this or any home depot. What garbage.

Employees in the flooring department tend to not ask if you need help, they are to busy talking with each other. Decided to leave after 20 minutes
