Right before the supposed storm of 12/16/2020 the store was extremely low on snow shovels & some of the prices were really high. But all the personnel were very helpful & courteous with smiles that radiated through their mask!

My last report was basic related for Germantown store most time when you don't fine items there go stray to Shady Grove at ( Gaithersburg ) before change the option ....

Like most suburbs, Home Depot stores are ubiquitous, yet each with a different vibe. This one caters more to contractors and professionals in the trades over the weekend DIYers. As such there is high foot traffic, particularly upon opening, and a general quicker pace throughout the store. To the untrained eye, it seems chaotic but it's simply a mob of people moving with purpose. Think New York City. Staff here have less time to seek out confused shoppers. You'll need to call for someone if you require help, but you'll receive quick competent service. One downside: situated closer to downtown, there's no spralling black top parking lot. In it's place is a tight below ground parking garage. The merchandise loading zone is sufficient, although you may have to jockey with the busy contractor loading zone for space. Pro tip: arrive with your measurements and project details at the ready so you can get in, get it done, and get out. This is the no nonsense Home Depot store. If you require hand-holding and peace while you decide on matte black versus colorful kitchen accents, choose another store further out.

Tina at the self checkout was very friendly, and had previously purchased the lights I was buying. She highly recommended them, and she was right! Thank you Tina for your excellent customer service.

Customer Service from Feza and Jerome was fantastic. They went above and beyond to help me get a summer fan that was no longer on the sales floor. And they both did it with a smile and courteously.

If you have to go to a cashier to check out, make sure you find Courtney, she is the best!!

This particular store is in a very crowded, congested area and does not have enough room which is why the parking is double decked. The other local HD stores are in less congested areas and seem to be spread out more which leads to less crowding inside the store also. This HD store is the closest to me so I sue it most often. Today the customer service desk employee, Feza, was most helpful, friendly, and competent.

This store does have a great location, but it is far too busy and needs a companion store nearby.

The staff in the electrical supplies is not particularly helpful. First response when looking for a particular item always seems to be "we are out of that." And frequently they give me items that are incorrect - they seem to be guessing a lot

Usually you get assistance when you need help. Friendly employees but my recent visit was the worst experience I ever had with the cashiers in HomeDepot’s stores.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWESOME. THEY GO ABOVE AND BEYOND. Store is always clean and organized

This location is often out of the products I need. The staff is NEVER helpful. I always feel as if I am bothering someone when I ask a question. Many times, the staff cannot answer the questions or tell me the wrong answers.... or finding a staff member to ask is impossible!

#2550 GAITHERSBURG HOME DEPOT IS FULL OF ACTIVITY,CUSTOMERS AND STAFF WORKING TOGETHER TO FIND NEEDED ITEMS,.ITEMS ARE ORGANIZED AND EASY TO FIND,ESPECIALLY THE DIRECTIONAL LABELS ARE REALLY HELPFUL. I ALSO LOVE THE READINESS OF YOUR STAFF OUTSIDE THE STORE WHO OFFERS ASSISTANCE WITH LOADING OUR PURCHASES.THE STORE IS ALWAYS WELL LIT,ORGANIZED AND CLEAN.

Being new to the area and needing help where to find the items I was looking for ,Paula helped me so much. She guided me to each item and got me help with items she didn’t know well. Her kindness is why I will be returning.

All staff wear their mask appropriately and were super helpful. You'd think I was a secret shopper!

I don't recommend this store. Aside from the fact that the parking and traffic flow here is the worst of any HD I've ever visited, I don't find the staff very helpful. I went to this store yesterday to buy a combination lock on my way to the gym. I waited 3 traffic light cycles to make a left into the store from Shady Grove Road. But then the lock I wanted wasn't sold here. I looked at all the locks on the shelf, and then checked the website. It said that there were 22 basic Master combination locks at this store. None were on the sales shelf! I found a fellow in a red shirt who checked the code numbers on line, and located 2 boxes of them in the stock area above the sales shelf. He told me he worked for Milwaukee Tools, not HD, but would get someone to help me. He came back a minute later and said someone will be there momentarily to get a lock down for me. Fifteen minutes later, no one had bothered to come. I ended up buying the only combination lock style for sale, at twice the price of the basic lock. Whether this lock was not on the sales shelf to encourage/force customers to choose more expensive merchandise - as happened to me, or if was just negligence or ineptitude, I don't know. But it made me angry enough to decide to go elsewhere next time I need something!

This morning I had a problem when paying the cashier was very kind but the cashier who is dedicated to taking care of the cashiers treated the cashier they come responsible and I disrespected the truth to me I do not care that I She disrespects because I'm used to dealing with rude people like her But she disrespected the cashier and I think it's very bad that Home Depot has such rude staff that they don't know how to treat the public they should do something they should train better to the people

The cashier was very helpful. I purchased a storage bin and the top was broken, I didn't notice it. She did and that saved me time and another trip.

Today's project entailed putting up window treatments in my home. Ba, in flooring, was extraordinarily patient, knowledgeable, and helpful. He walked me through my options, explained what the differences and benefits of each solution were, and in the end steered me towards the perfect fit for my home.

Terrific store. The customer service is good and seems to be getting constantly better.

In this age of COVID, the store was extremely clean and the staff were constantly cleaning. The staff was also very helpful with all my needs. I would defiantly continue to do my shopping here.
