Came for Christmas lights and decor. Significantly disappointed with selection, store was a complete mess- nothing was organized and isles were so congested it was hard to get around with the cart and kids. Then upon check out there was a long line at the one register open while 4-5 employees stood around the self check out talking among themselves, eye balling customers and not providing as assistance. I guess Home Depot likes to pay people to do nothing. There should be no more then 1-2 people at the self check out and the rest need to get to work helping customers by either opening a register or cleaning up the isles!

Employees, Cashier and Manager are all friendly and willing to help.

I needed a new washer and dryer and was nervous to shop. My salesperson lead me through each step and within no time I purchased my appliances and set up delivery with 3 days of purchase. Very pleasant experience!!!

Kitchen design with Joey was such a great experience. With a kitchen that was 25 years in the making, Joey listened to our needs and quickly came up with a beautiful design on the first try! Joey made it fun and stress free. He loves his Job and it shows. We will recommend him to anyone we know looking to do a kitchen.

I have never seen such laziness at a home improvement store. The Associates at Hackettstown Home Depot are useless. Nobody actually works, they just look for someone who can help and you (the customer) end up standing around waiting for the next Home Depot Associate who will also try to find someone to help. I needed to pick up 17 bags of concrete mix. All of the flat carts are loaded with items waiting for pick up. I asked a Home Depot Associate if he could possibly offload 1 cart onto a pallet so I could pick up my items. He honestly said "that's a great idea, let me find someone to help you with that". What a joke! Even the person who works outside in the loading area walked away when he saw me loading the concrete bags into my vehicle. When I called out to this individual for some help loading he said "hold on a minute and I'll try to find someone to help you".

The best Home Depot experience I've ever had. I didn't have to search forever looking for someone to help me, many came up to ask me if I needed help and it was a Saturday afternoon!

We really had a good assistance in gardening and plants during our visit, by one of the associate Cate, who is very informative and patience in answering and assisting us through out our visit, until we load them to our car. She is absolutely amazing and made a big difference! I'm very impressed with her knowledge, she is an exemplary when it comes to plants. Hope Home Depot would recognize her knowledge and customer service, to encourage her work. Thank you so much Cate, you're the BEST!!!

great store, I always get what I need

This is my store of choice, I would like to go even when I am around 10 miles away. The customer service is very friendly , the shopping experience is great and the products are easy to find. By mistake I left my paint in the parking lot and to my surprise the staff had secured it in the Pro area, I was able to get back my products just by making a phone call. The shopping experience is great and the staff is very courteous. I would greatly recommend this store.

I always find the Hackettstown location to have full quantity of things that I need the floor customer care helpers are quite friendly and efficient and helpful I was in and out of there in no time

This Home Depot has an extensive amount of equipment for both the homeowner and contractor to rent. The sales people are extremely helpful and offer ways the customer can save money when doing a project.

I attempted to go in to return about $200 worth of building materials and i was denied half of the returns. Due to a kick back in the computer or some excuse i was given by the customer service attendant. I personally scanned each item on the home depot website with the barcode scanner to make sure the items i was bringing back was not mixed up with another stores products. Due to the fact this is a mix match of different building materials i did not use in previous jobs. All of the said items scanned online and show price and ske # etc etc. But yet when i went into the store and attempted to return my items i was denied and only able to return half.

The staff at the pro desk are incredibly helpful and have been so great to me over many years. I am so very grateful, thank you!

I come for the helpful, knowledgeable staff where I may have questions that are always answered. I stay for the bargains. I count on the quality that I expect and always receive. Great store.

Upon entering the store, there were NO cart wipes or hand wipes. I stood there for about a minute and no customer service associate even acknowledged me, let alone ask if I needed something. When I asked, they looked for them but couldn't locate any and offered to let me use their spray, which I didn't want, as I use the wipes not only on my cart but as hand wipes as I shop in store. They said maybe there's some at the other entrance, but didn't really seem to give a hoot if I found them or not. Midway between entrances, I asked a cashier for wipes, she didn't have any either! She offered to wipe off my cart with her rag...no thanks, but at least she tried. At other entrance, there was a bucket of wipes but they weren't marked what was in them and they were extremely difficult to get out of bucket. There was a bottle of hand sanitizer midway so I used a bit of that but it didn't have a great smell, not sure what it was. During a pandemic that we are experiencing it is Extremely important to have adequate sanitizing wipes available for customers. My impression of store was really downgraded based upon this.
