I needed to create a concrete foundation for my 10 x 10 feet Tuff Shed. I was able to find project videos and guidelines including calculators for the # of bags of 3/8 inch gravel and crack resistant concrete mix I would need as well as concrete tools, etc. on Home Depot online. Additionally, as a Handyperson & DIY I appreciate the same-as-cash financing options. Finally, as a veteran I appreciate that Home Depot provides discounts to military veterans year round unlike others and helps my fellow veterans and Veteran Service Organizations.

Helpful staff, friendly staff, good selection

Asked location of product first person sent me to wrong area,so did the second the third one Crystal or Christine was the helpful one. But each and every employee was polite and all smiles and I appreciate that. Definitely recognize the store.

I bought 20 trees to plant throughout my woods and yard. They are a great price and size and I am so satisfied with the product and the service.

First.. One just cant put an appliance in a cart and take to the register. There needs to be staff in that area. This store consistently has no one, or not enough staff in the appliance area. I've walked away and went to other stores several times. I bought a washer and scheduled delivery. Upon delivery it was dented so it went back on the truck. Now I'm in a jam. We had two family emergencies going on and I was leaving towm My wife has a parent in the hospital for a major surgery so she would not be able accept sdelivery(in another 3-4 days) . I go into the store and find a shift level manager. I explain my issue. I tell him I need a new machine today or tomorrow. Home Depot screwed up the first order-- time to rectify things. He tells me there is nothing he can do. I point out a machine in the aisle, not in the normal display area. A close out item. He tells me he would have to order it and deliver in 3-4 days. I suggest Home Depot sell me that machine, I pay the difference, and they can deliver one to the store in "3-4 days". Impossible Im told. I suggest a refund so I can go buy one elsewhere ASAP. He does the paperwork and says it will take two business days to post back to my card. So... I go another brand big box store near by. They have machines in stock you can actually buy and take home. What a concept. I explain my dilemma with scheduling and family emergencies. He shows me a few floor models in my budget. The machine I pick is not in stock. He offers.. I will sell you the floor model and replace it from stock. WHAT A CONCEPT. Home Depot put me in a jam, and wont ligt a finger to fix it. This other store bends over backwards. It took 7 minutes to walk in, pick out, and pay for a washer. SO THEN>>>>>>>>> Over a week goes by and the Home Depot purchase hasn't been credited to my card. AND a closer look at my paperwork reveals the "manager" didnt refund the delivery charge. So- another trip to Janesville to get that fixed.

I am a handyman and workers often have tips they share which is very valuable to me.

Cashier Anders was the best and very polite, made it a great worthwhile trip.

Went shopping to get a few things I needed and wouldn't you know it I found some great needle nose pliers that were just what I had been looking for in lot's of other places

The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, especially the lumber department. They guided me through the process of buying and cutting wood in store, from helping me lift plywood to telling me where to place the cart for cutting my sheets.

Not too often these days do you walk into a big box store and get greeted and asked to be helped by 3 different people on a 15 minute shopping trip. Bought a dryer, they loaded it and I was on my way within 15 minutes. thank you home depot Janesville...

Due to a couple people using pro parking wrong the store management has to decided to only let 1 truck at a time to load and blocked off the rest of the spots. Too much time is wasted waiting for them making everyone suffer because the manager does not have the guts to deal with it

Tammy in the kitchen area was very helpful when I came in to purchase a new refrigerator. She was patient and answered all my questions.

When I got my John Deere tractor home, it did not start. So I took it to the Gurnee store, and Steve in lawn and garden walked me through it and it turns out I was not pushing down hard enough on the break. After a very frustrating day yesterday, that was saved by Kayla and then being saved by Steve. It was just a great experience even though there was some frustration along the way.
