I recently purchased a new home (an older place) and needed a washer and dryer. I hadn't bought one for a number of years, so I looked around and familiarized myself with prices and features. I read a glowing review on The Spruce website, giving a "BEST" review of the Samsung. Clicking on that link took me to Home Depot. So that's where I went and made the purchase from one of the most unfriendly clerk I've ever had the misfortune to encounter. I went back a week or so later and purchsed extended insurance on the appliances. Again, she was prickly and unfriendly and her explanation was rude. After the appliances were delivered, although a bit confusing, I ran a couple small loads. The third load, I put on 'normal' and the washer was so loud and violent, I couldn't believe it. I went in the next day and the only person of the four not on the phone made a phone call. Since the invoice didn't have the complete model number, I was told to go home and they'd call me. I explained I had plans (it was a Saturday morning) and she said okay, they'd call me Monday. I found the model number (no easy project - took a photo of it with my phone) and went back to the store early Monday morning. I can't even begin to tell you how poorly I was treated and told to go home and wait for the call. And I'm still waiting. If someone told me they were going to shop here, I'd warn them about the rudeness of some, not all, of the people who work there. My bad experience was in the appliance department. I'm still upset. I figured out how to get the number of the Samsun Warrenty and will call them directly. If you want names of these folks, let me know.

Rental department and returns departments were friendly

Great service - have not had a problem finding someone to help us as has been our experience in the distant past. But as of the last year or so, we have had great service

This store is always very helpful and knowledgeable. We are there just about every weekend to pick up things for our continuing projects or new projects. We found what we needed and as usual found things we don't need just want and items that we think will be useful. We almost always have questions and there is always an employee not far to help us answer these questions or to find the things we need.

Unbelievable great cashier that attended me it was relaxing and positive help i enjoyed buying something for the first time.

Can’t wait to get the new appliances to hook them up and try them out

Employees are very knowledgeable and helpful, the store is always clean and the product availability is great. I love Home Depot and have been doing business with them for over twenty five years!

Robert W. back in the Lumber department has helped us more times than I can even count. He has gone above and beyond for us which is rare to see these days especially during the pandemic. Robert W. and one other taller gentleman in his 30s or 40s with glasses who I believe works somewhere in the lumber/hardware department are friendly, professional, and very helpful. They are very hard workers. I see them multitasking and helping several customers one after another. I am sure they do the work of 10 employees. I hope these guys get a raise and the recognition they deserve. Employs like these guys are the reason my husband and I continue to go back to Home Depot.

Greeted as soon as we entered the store. The greeter quickly let us know which isle the item we were looking for was on. Then at checkout, our checkout person just happened to be a store manager, Johnnyy, who was completely amazing! Anytime I need home improvement items or just laundry detergent in general, I'm coming to Home Depot.

Hardware/lumber stores are generally intimidating places for me. However, the Longview Home Depot staff was so welcoming that they put my fears and confusion to rest. From the moment I entered, I was greeted. When I couldn’t find the product I was looking for, Mike directed me. When the item was out of stock, Lori got me the floor model and went above and beyond by walking me to customer service, testing the item, and then asking a customer service specialist to ring me out. What a pleasant, amazing experience! Thank you.

The store is very well organized and clean. They are so helpful and ready and willing to answer questions you may have. Even employees who are not in the department or new are willing to research or find out information to your questions. I have been a customer here for years. They are above and beyond helpful. They even stay after their shift to help us sometimes. They never say anything or act as if it's a concern. Love to shop here locally. Lori, Lyndsie, Shantell, Mike are all wonderful employees.

I am in the process of updating my home to sell and have been impressed with the prices and quality of materials this store has available. Their employees are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and have made my shopping here a pleasure. I will definitely shop here first for materials for my new home and I highly recommend this store!

I have always found what i needed and more!

This store has amazing employees who are ever so helpful (especially your gal who knows the motorized tools section better than the back of her hand! Wish I knew her name, but I always think of her and her helpful ways whenever I go through that section of the store (she very knowledgeably talked me into purchasing a Ridgid power impact driver and power drill combo.)

The sales associate was so patient and pleasant and took whatever time I needed to make decisions. They were also very knowlegeable of their department. Their competitor was quite rude to me earlier that day while needing the exact same assistance. This sealed the deal of who would get my business from now on.

They are unorganized and the teams do NOT communicate appropriately with one another. Disappointing to say the least.
