The Middletown Home Depot employees are so nice. Andy S in Millwork is just amazing. He is so knowledgeable and efficient, it made it a much better than usual experience to work with him. I have to commend him. However the ladies who answer the phone in the Waterford CT store have bad attitudes and they make everyone else in that store look bad. I’ll drive further to avoid the Waterford store just because of the snotty attitude of the ladies at that front desk.

Items shown in stock on the website and verified in stock by store personnel are nowhere to be found, even when asking store workers to help find them.

I have been a loyal customer at this Home Depot store for many years. On 5/26 I entered the store and saw several Home Depot employees wearing state required face coverings draped around their necks, making no attempt to cover their faces. I know that many of your customers have differing opinions regarding face covering, however I would expect an organization like Home Depot to follow state mandated rules for business operation under these trying times. I'm hoping this is just one reckless store management team and their action of flagrant disregard for Home Depot customers is not indicative of Home Depot as a whole. I will not visit this store again until a permanent solution for Covid 19 is available. I did not feel safe in your store and further, I felt disrespected!

The store was clean, full of extremely knowledgeable pros, unlike some other stores I’ve been to in the past. The management at this store and every other employee I dealt with during my visit today were unbelievably helpful. I would definitely shop here again.

The staff is knowledgeable and always helpful. Great group of workers.... I have several rental properties and Mike Dragone in the paint department is excellent. I buy all my paints and materials from Mike. Catherine Marrotta at the register is always gracious and helpful when I am checking out or need assistance.

I have a contractors account with Home Depot and have been a customer for 16 years. I have never during these years felt the urge to complain about my experience even when I have been treated poorly by your employees. This time was different. My wife and I came to the store to return some items that I didn’t need after a big restoration project. When we approached the desk, an employee with the name Mollie was laughing while talking with another African American that seemed to be a friend. She was slow to acknowledge us and when she eventually started to scan the items she hardly said a word. I also had a special order item that she didn’t know how to process. When I tried to help solving the issue she scolded me and had an extremely aggressive attitude like I would have been rude to her. All of the sudden she started helping another customer without saying a word to us. We waited for 10 minutes before we decided to leave with the items. This store is the one closest to me, but I will never return again. I have an account at Lowe’s as well and I have never been treated like this there. This episode reflects poorly on the store manager as well, having the poor judgment hiring someone with a total lack of customer service.

I have always had good experiences at this location. The store is neat and organized. They always have the items I’ve needed and the employees are very knowledgeable about the products, and are friendly, helpful and courteous.

You have an employee, Mary, who is an absolute Plumbing Expert. Why she is working on the checkouts is beyond me. She saved me countless time and energy when she noticed I was about to purchase the wrong part for my hot water heater. Wonderfully observant that she noticed my mistake. She personally went and got me the correct part that I needed.

Having been to A LOT of Home Depot flipping houses, Middletown is becoming a challenge especially the return department. It is not the shortage of staff...they just don't help you! I had to leave with my returns not having the time to run around the stores to get people to help me with my returns. Previously, I have grabbed anyone and to tell them I do not have the 10 minutes to wait in line to return. Other HD do not run lik this!! I find the staff not to be friendly, especially the ones behind the return desk. I end up just avoiding this store.

Store service associate Kim is very friendly and greets customers when they come in , very welcoming. It's nice to be greated when I come in and buy material on almost a daily basis .

For the most part, Home Depot Middletown is my go to place. My wife and I loves going there the because she loves flowers and plants. For me I go for tools and home improvement items. Staff are pretty friendly and somehow knowledgeable, regardless of their knowledge they will still help you. Store are pretty clean. We mostly find the products we wanted very rare that they're out stock.

I recommend not dealing with the pro desk. not "pro" at all. I could make a list of things that went wrong and how was handled badly to the tune that I will not return there for some time until that personel is replaced. 2 hours of uncomfortable transaction and horrible experience with a young and rude "pro desk " person.

Was lied to by flooring that carpet was in... was left on hold for 10 minutes while employee “ put eyes on carpet”. Called installers and they said it was not available and they were correct.. it was on a truck in another state so how this man put eyes on it was impossible and a flat out lie.. spoke to a “ manager who turned out to be a cashier.. all lies! So utterly dissatisfied and now I will be paying for carpeting somewhere also and paying for a hotel again for my teneats who can’t move in today

As a senior, I am doing my first large project. The service I received was great. They put everything together for me and while we were doing paperwork they gave me their full attention. We were not interrupted by phones or other customers. They were friendly, helpful, and patient. Material will be delivered in 10 days. Wish me luck.
