This particular store has served us well for the past 12 years, it has a very convenient location for us and the others in our community. Especially during the growing months, as well as keeping us stocked with household goods.

This store is closest to my house. I do a lot of home projects so am constantly in this store. When I can, I prefer to go to the Riverbank location as although it is a bit further, the customer service is much better. Their employees are more professional and knowledgeable. The Modesto location does have a few employees that are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Brie is not one of them. She is very rude, seems to prefer to talk to her male associates and customers than help a female customer. She is not knowledgeable at all, at least not when it comes to hardware and lumber which I think is a problem for someone working at the Pro Desk. She has a bad attitude which is evident in her constant eye rolling when I tried to ask her for information or explain what I was wanting. She doesn't even know what a 2x4 is nor does she seem to care that she doesn't know, can't figure out why she's working at Home Depot!

If you can't find what you want, go to Karen in customer service. She will really go the extra mile to get all the things you cannot find on your own. Also if another employee says it isn't in store, don't leave before someone checks the computer inventory first.

The checkout are fast. I like it.

Ordered flooring, all items were in stock.Set day to pick-up, when arrived it was not ready. Came back next day still not ready for pick-up and some pieces were missing. Had to drive to another Home Depot to complete order. Should offer free shipping between stores. Customers shouldn't have to drive to different cities to get items at their expense since Home Depot lost/sold the pieces already purchased and being held.

If you are going to shop at Home Depot. drive 10 minutes away to the Riverbank store. Riverbank Home Depot is much cleaner, better displays, stocked shelves and more knowledgeable staff.

I received excellent customer service during checkout from Sanaa. She seemed to genuinely want to help me save the most on my purchase and be satisfied with my experience at Home Depot.

No complaints except for lack of check out personnel !

I visited 4/16/19. The store was a mess. Maybe they are remodeling? If so I didnt see a sign saying so. When i went to check out the person in line ahead of me had some issues with the transaction so I waited almost 10 minutes for him to buy 3 items. When he was finished I sat my purchase on the counter and the clerk proceeded to scan it. When she was done she said "Home Depot rewards?" I said no . She handed me my receipt and started on the next customers order. No "Hi","Thank You", NOTHING. Didnt even make eye contact. Maybe I just didnt matter to her? When I fork over my hard earned money I expect a certain amount of respect. Something that says "I know you could shop anywhere so thank you for shopping here.Your the reason I have a job and I appreciate your pantronage. So does Home Depot."Very little to ask I think. Next time I will try a different store.

The employees I have worked with at this store are professional, efficient and seem to truly want to assist the customer.

Great Customer Service! coming from Patterson I know that I will find and be helped when I arrive. I had a young lady help me load all my garden rocks into my car with a smile and small talk. Great store! LOVE MY HOME DEPOT!

Store was as always...a good experience, BUT I think you ought to rethink the placement of the barrier between the 4 self checkouts. It seems a little inviting for shoplifters if you ask me. While I was checking out it just seemed odd that cashier Sanaa was at a disadvantage by not having a clear view like she had before the new self checkouts and “goodies” were installed.

We just had a great visit to this stores garden section. The cashier Lea was extremely helpful, informative, friendly and efficient. This is definitely our favorite Home Depot.

Tamra the cashier in self checkout is sooo rude and hates her job for what I can tell. She talks down to customers when they approach self checkout. She then accuses them of stealing when they miss scanning an item by accident, instead of politely helping customers. Also the Garden department is not well stocked like it is in Turlock. Very old and outdated store, with rude cashiers.
