If I need something from Home Depot I head straight to the store on Rt. 60 in Mundelein. I find it is cleaner in general, and well staffed. I never have to look far to find an employee ready to help. Usually they know exactly where to find what I am looking for. I didn’t need help today but three different employees asked me if I needed help. At the self-checkout the cashier asked if I needed help as well. Every employee I encountered was friendly. Even the employee I encountered in the parking lot was friendly and complimented me on my car.

I tried to change the socket in a lamp myself but ran into some issues when a certain piece wouldn't come apart. I wrapped the lamp in a towel, put the parts in a bag and away I went to mundelein home depot. An associate Chris B helped me and he helped to find the correct socket that would work for this lamp, helped me get another part undone that was apparently glued in which is what gave me so much trouble, and took the time to help me put it back together again. Talk about going above and beyond! Thank you for helping this damsel in distress and giving me the confidence to complete the 2nd lamp at home!

I was lucky enough for employee Chris B. to offer to help me. I can't believe how knowledgeable he is on so many different types of projects. He had recommendations for products to make each of my house projects go so much smoother. I am very grateful for his help.

Mike helped my daughter and I find all the parts we needed for our project, from start to finish. He assisted us in cutting our PVC to the lengths we needed and was super personable and friendly. I hope we see Mike again next time we come in for project materials!!

Mundelein is especially speedy at the Pro checkout. They understand the needs of tradespeople.

Home Depot had great customer service, I asked to return something without a receipt and the employees didn’t give me a hard time at all. And there was also workers that were really nice, when I went to self checkout employees asked if I needed help. Home Depot also can give great discounts, like gift cards that can give you a really low price.

In the summer im here almost every day of the week and I’ve always found what I’m looking for either by my self or with the help of the staff. Friendly courteous and knowledgeable.
