The rude reception from the first floor associate I tried to get help from was unacceptable. He didn’t even turn around to address me as I was talking to him to get direction in the store. I then found another associate, Luke, who, when trying to help me, burped in my face, and I was about to walk off to find a manager because I was up to my ears in bad service the entire day. Another associate (female) approached and explained to me Luke had special needs, and he meant no harm. As she proceeded to assist me, nicely might I add, Luke apologized several times, as I also apologized to him for my frustrations. The catcher is, he kept checking on ME. I told the lady who was helping me I felt like crying because someone else’s rudeness caused me to lose it with Luke. I know this is lengthy but I just want to commend Luke in his SUPERIOR customer service. Even in the face of of a frustrated customer (might I add I had been receiving nasty customer service all day and was at my wits end), he remained humble and patient and kind. I allowed the nasty of others turn me into what they were. Luke, humbled ME. THANK YOU Luke. And, thank you Hime Depot for having staff like Luke, who have no biases to whom they treat with dignity and respect and kindness. This was so important to me I sat right here in the parking lot and filled this out.

If you need any help with a project see TROY. This guy is the best,really, he is the best. I have had problems in the past with different projects and he told me the answers, and took the time to make sure I understood before I left the store.

I am in love with the garden department at this store. You always have new items and everything is very well taken care of. Tammy was my cashier today and she was simply amazing!!! Can’t wait to be back

My mailbox was loose and shaking in the wind. I had an idea, but was unsure how to steady it rather than replace it. I went to Home Depot. Bounced to three separate associates. Each offered a suggestion. Found it. Fixed it. Like new. And at a very reasonable cost. Happy customer in Pittsburgh!

My husband and I went to Home Depot just to see what they had in area rugs. Charles the flooring guy greeted us, answered all our questions, folded the rug up for us to fit in our car, assisted us to the cashier and thanked us for stopping by. Our cashier Matt- this was his first night and was the nicest young man and Tyrone was teaching him and was just as nice. We will be retuning for the rest of our flooring. If you need flooring ask for Charles!

Why the change to your 10% military discount program? You are miking it impossible for older veterans.. period. Do a survey! I wont shop there until this is fixed. Such a shame!

We shop frequently at the North Fayette location and always have a good experience with employees from cashier's to management. Carlos is a very nice guy and never seems to busy to help even when the store is hopping. Sadly there is a corporate policy in place that restricts the store from donating gift cards or goods to local organizations to be used for gift basket raffles or silent auctions ect.

Mark was very good about explaining how he could help with the lumber selection and how to save money when purchasing odd size lumber.

After shopping around for new carpet. We were very pleased with Home Depots selection and quality. Their employees (Charles) was very knowledgeable and helpful. Their pricing was very reasonable.

Abby in customer service did an excellent job resolving a problem that I had with a refund. She worked very hard to try to determine where the problem was coming from and didn't stop until I was satisfied! Thanks Abby and to the team that helped with the problem. TZ

This store went downhill drastically. Terrible management and understaffe. I come to this store based upon convenience.

I entered the store expecting multiple bad possibilites: I would have to wait "forever"; I wouldn't be able to find an "expert resource" to discuss my project (bathroom reconstruction); I wouldn't be able to find what I wanted / needed; I would have to settle for alternative products with which I would not be satisfied etc.etc. To my surprise, none of the above occurred and I left feeling my project was off to a better start than I ever hoped. Kudos to all the HD employees at the North Fayette store with which I interacted.

Super fast and friendly return transaction. Matt was very quick and friendly. I love the no hassle experience with a real friendly person.

Went into the store today for a few items, and was accompanied by one of their staff members as my personal shopper. This gentleman helped me throughout my shopping, answering my questions on products, finding the location of the items quicker, loading my cart as some of the products were large and heavy, and did it in the most personable and kind manner. I was totally impressed.It saved me quite a bit of time. He even loaded my car for me! It was a great shopping trip. I will definitely come back here and ask for DAVE WALLACE!

Don't shop here for ceiling replacement tiles if you only need one (1) or two (2) - this store will no longer sell individual ones but force you to buy a box of at least four (4) - I needed one for a repair, but had to spend $42.80 for a box of four, thus spending over $30.00 more just to get the one replacement tile that I needed. In fairness to the store, the person I dealt with in the paint department was exceptional - he went out of his way to help me match paint for a touch up repair and could not have been more helpful - it's too bad that the rest of the experience there today wasn't as good. Finally, it appears that they no longer have fully staffed check-out registers (a cost saving move?) which makes it very difficult if you aren't comfortable or have difficulty as I do with self-checkout.

John S in lawn and garden was extremely helpful. He helped me find everything I needed, loaded it onto a palate and placed it into my truck. I wish every store had employees like John!

Visited this store on a Saturday evening around 9pm..didn't expect to get such excellent service late at night! The employees were knowledgeable and pleasant and very willing to assist. The selection was also good. I will use this location more often even though it's not as close to me as other Home Depot locations.

Great selection, wonderful staff (Charles and Kathy are WONDERFUL), you'll probably find what you need and if you don't, the HD staff will help you out and make recommendations.

Do yourself a favor and do NOT use this place to get ANYTHING installed! These people are arrogant, misleading, and don't care at all how you want your job done. So, stay away! You have been warned.

An employee named Jim Elmer was extremely helpful; he called other Home Depot Stores to check to availability of the sold-out item I wanted, took down my phone number, and promised to call me when the item was available. Now that was real assistance!

Usually a good store, had several things not in stock, when the app stated there were more than 20 pieces of each item.

Wonderful store employees seem happy and helpful. Garden center is great!
