We are fortunate to have a Home Depot in Litchfield County. Most of us travel from our rural homes, and I am always satisfied with the amount of items that do not have to be special ordered at Home Depot. We recently heard from another store that our tiles on back order were held up for yet another week. At Home Depot, the selection of tiles in stock were amazing, and we were able to find a replacement better than those ordered and our contractor could stay on the job!

The employees, especially Erik (who works in the lumber dept), are not very helpful. Even though I ordered a piece of plywood on-line and called to specify how I wanted it cut, they cut it wrong and I had to wait a very long time to try to get them to cut another one. The employee who was supposed to cut it (Erik) was just standing around watching someone else work. I left without getting what I had gone for.

No problem finding what you need, employee is always near by to help.

Home Depot has been wonderful to work with as we renovate our kitchen. Excellent Customer service from knowledgeable associates.

The store is great, the people are great, the management (HD Corporate), not so much. There are workers there that have been exposed to Covid 19 but continues to work as they are lacking in staff with no extra pay as the others received while quarantining at home. completely unacceptable and complete disregard for Home Depot employees and health of the public. I am shocked that they continue to keep people on knowing they were possibly exposed in the others are taking time off. Shame on you Home Depot! Home Depot may also be in violation of not adhering to health guidelines. I gave HD one star for lack of safety guidelines and safety and fairness for employees.

Love this store. Employees are great, store is clean, easy to find whatever I need. Sometimes I go there even when I don't need anything, just to lift my mood.

every time I enter the store and don't have any idea what I am looking for they ready to lend a helping hand Also Dawn was so helpful when filling out the required paper work for my new stove so that it can be delivered on Saturday

I am not a fan of Home Depot, and today's experience with the paint department did not help. The computer generated the wrong formula, causing me to return when the dry paint still didn't show correctly. The clerk at the paint department agreed and tried another mix, but the formula for Home Depot's paint was wrong - maybe the base? Whatever it was, it was wrong. The paint clerk redid the sample with another company, and there was an upcharge. While the paint was being mixed, I went to Customer Service. Since the first sample was obviously a HD product, I didn't grab the cash receipt when I left the house to return to the store. The Cust. Service refunded the price not the tax (no receipt for the $4 item.) Long story short, had it not been for the kindness (and empathy) of Darlene, I'd probably not step foot in the store again!

There are at least three HD stores near us, but this is the best, and always our first go-to.

I want to like this store but their Christmas decoration area really misses the mark. I went on Black Friday and would expect the store to plan for an uptick in demand. By the afternoon the entire area was picked over. Tons of items were out of stock and the area is so jam packed it is impossible to distance yourself from anyone. If you have any plans to buy anything holiday related I would recommend you pick another store.

Great place staff always willing to help and figure things out for me even if i have no clue. I have never had a bad experience there and love just walking around getting new ideas for new projects.

When I visited this store on 11/10 only one employee I encountered wore a mask. Not one of the four people at the customer service desk work as mask (they had them on their chins). They clearly have zero regard for keeping the customers and staff safe. If you can't enforce the state mask mandate among your employees you should not be open for business.

STAFF ARE ALWAYS READY TO ASSIST WHEN ASKED. I AM ** ALWAYS ** TAKEN TO THE PRODUCT NEEDED. IN THIS STORE NO ONE POINTS TO AN AISLE. MANY TIMES I WILL SAY JUST POINT AND THEY SAY, NO I WILL TAKE YOU. THANK YOU.

The guys in lumber kinda suck and I would have given 2 stars because of them but Eric who helped my son and I with trim/milwork was great. He helped cut up some pieces of trim for us with the saw which was a huge save in time and he was kind the whole time. A huge contrast from those lumber guys. Thank you Eric.

HD in New Hartford CT I found to be very helpful and expedient. I asked for help, received it, bought the product recommended and went home to finish my project in record time due to their recommendation of a tool accessory I had bought at HD. The store was well organized and stocked, and they hire great people who were very helpful and friendly. Thank you so much HD!

The entrance way is the first impression. It's always clean and clear of clutter. Someone is always there to give a greeting. I have no problem finding my way around the store and the staff of people I meet there are always a big help if I need to ask for help. I've made a few large purchases there at the service desk and I always felt comfortable during the process. Thank you!

I love shopping at Home Depot especially during this pandemic. It's roomy, clean and easy to social distance. I've also gotten good ideas here to help me with managing being home so much during this time.

Always friendly service. Spend most of my time in the lumber/building materials. Those folks are great!

While the staff and store are nice, the place has become a dog park on the weekends ruining the shopping experience there. I've seen dogs get aggressive with each other, bark at kids and block the isles. A guy came in today just to walk his two German Shepherds around the store. Really, he needs to stroke his ego by walking his dogs around. Go to to Petco if you need to show off. Dogs can appear nice, but no one can say for certain how they will react around strangers in a crowed store. I'm sure corporate can't wait for someone to get attacked so they can payout on a lawsuit. Follow the rules. No pets allowed except for well train service dogs.

Shopping during Covid pendemic we felt safe in store. Store employees were very helpful and always are when we go there.

Always shop at this Home Depot store and I’ve always loved the products and the service!

Store is still not enforcing the rule about wearing masks. I saw 6 people in my short visit without masks. 2 of them spoke with a staff member who had her own mask down. I am not expecting staff members to be police, but they should at least speak with those people who are endangering the rest of your customers.
