I love shopping here because I am able to get wonderful helpful service from everyone I encounter in this store.

They have everything needed for home repair and all projects.

I stopped at a different home improvement store, and they didn't have the exact item I needed. I went to Home Depot. I was greeted and given correct directions to find the item. When I didn't see it, there was an associate close by to help me.

PLACING A WOOD FLOOR ORDER WAS EASY AND PAINLESS

We had a DIY project to replace our back stairs. Ed was so helpful! He made sure we had all the material needed to complete our project! He did everything except draw us a diagram!

Tamma interrupted my order when she put me on the phone with the credit card people by taking someone else's order. There were 2 other representatives around. Then she told me to wait while I got off the phone but I was the order she was already working with. She didnt do this right and the other representatives arent doing their job. It was early in the morning so it wasnt alot of people there but the other reps were talking to each other. So Im not sure. I had to go.

So happy I brought the items I did

I was kinda at a lost gathering supplies for a project early this morning while waiting to me up with my contractor, and asked the right person about the heavy duty carts. This lead to Brian helping me not only get the cart, but he took his time helping me retrieve the items & pushed the load to the front of the store for me. On top of all this, I witnessed him providing the same level of service for other customers from a distance without him noticing. FYI… the customers were males too. Thanks so much for being awesome Brian!

Cashiers are rude management don’t resolve nothing.

The Home Depot in Oak lawn is a neat store well organized but they lack the inventory for products labeled on the shelves. I was told to just go to another store for the product I was looking for which was a ring camera. The shelf didn’t have the rings advertised to be sold and the price was marked with the wrong pricing. And the customer service person at checkout was not very friendly nor helpful. The adage of you can’t judge a book by its cover is true! Nice store in appearance but bad customer service.

Katy at pro is gonna be missed. This pro team is the best at any store in the area! The store itself has an amazing staff

Very great experience at this location. I had previously gone to two different locations a d none had as great experience as the Oaklawn location. Willie and Evelyn had helped me pick out some things I need to clean and helped me find a product that I need to get rid of rodents in my home. They also recommended other things I may need to clean Thank you for everything you do

I came in just knowing I was not going to be helped or have to wander around til someone showed up. Nope...Shawn walked right up and took very good care of me and got me out of there in time to get my project started. the guy knows his stuff!

I was looking in the bath section and an employee approached me and asked if I needed help. He was very helpful and honest about products.

Great, peaceful shopping experience

THE STAFF WAS VERY OUTGOING AND EAGER TO ASSIST ME WITH FINDING MY ITEMS.

They are very helpful. When we needed a part for a storm door, the gentleman took one look at the part and told me the manufacturer and where to get the part number off the door. He was very helpful to me and the customers before and after me. We had tried two rivals and didn't get anywhere.

Archie in the Electrical Department is amazing. This has been the 3rd time that I've stopped in to the store, and Archie was unbelievably helpful each and every time. With this most recent experience, I just had to leave a review. He went above and beyond each and every time helping out, asking if there's anything else, thanking me for stopping by and shopping there, etc. I manage many employees, and he is someone that a company and mngmt. should find extreme value in. He is an asset for sure!

The store was clean but I don't appreciate being treated like a criminal. I went in for large boxes, saw a mattress cover and put it in the cart too. When I got to self checkout I pulled my cart right in front of the employee so she could see me scan every box with the hand scanner. My daughter moved each box and over as I scanned. When I was done I walked back to the machine verified the number of boxes on screen and confirmed that number out loud with my daughter. The employee was watching me the entire time. I paid grabbed the cart and she walks up and say can I see your receipt I'm like sure. Then she without even looking at the receipt reached to the bottom of the cart and pulled out the mattress cover. I'm like dang I forgot I had that, walked back to the screen and paid for it too. But this stupid lady ran around with my receipt copying stuff like I had just robbed the bank. My problem is, it was clear she saw that I missed the item and instead of just saying that she treated us like I would risk jail for an 8 dollar mattress cover. First clue I wasn't stealing was I rolled my cart right in front of her, second clue was I was verifying the amount of boxes I scanned out loud. She wanted to have something to talk about to her friends but I was insulted and I am never going back. And she never said anything the entire time except can I see your receipt, rude and assuming!

The associates in the gardening department were friendly and helpful. Stephen made sure that we found the right products. He even recommended other products that I didn't think about and purchased as well.

Tamma and Willie went above and beyond for me. Their commitment to customer service was phenomenal! Thank you for the incredible experience!

Awesome experience with Stephen when trying to decide which Lawnmower to purchase. He was very patient and shared a wealth of knowledge regarding the Lawnmower options while allowing me to make my own decision. Excellent personality and exceeded my expectations! The store was clean and all associates were very helpful. The sales cashier Michelle was extremely helpful and pleasant. Both of them together made this a Great experience!

I had a great experience recently at this store and wanted to share. I was having some electrical work done and was sent to Home Depot with a list of items to purchase. I was completely lost in the electrical department looking for these items. Geo, went above and beyond to help me fulfill my list of items because I had no idea what I was even looking for. He was so courteous, helpful, and kind. I had to return a few times for more electrical items and drove a few extra miles out of my way to this Oak Lawn location because of how helpful he was. Great employee!

All of the employees that I encountered on my visit to home depot were friendly, nice, and pleasant. Everyone was knowledgeable and eger to help. I can't thank you guys enough. S Franklin.

I went into the store to buy a dishwasher. The store employee was very knowledgeable and very helpful. I would definitely make another major appliance at this store.
