I have never had a disappointing visit to the Reading, MA Home Depot store. Every employee that I had contact with was very courteous and extremely helpful. When I wasn't familiar with a product I needed, the employees educated me regarding the product and made sure it was best suited to my needs. I left feeling confident regarding my purchases.

Doing a kitchen “tune up” and Dana in kitchens was super helpful and patient.

Professional and happy employees

The employees at this store bend over backwards to help you with whatever you need. I do not hesitate to recommend this store to anyone in need of any kind of building supplies, appliances, etc.

Went to purchase flowers for my wife and daughter. The selection in the plants section was good. Looked for blades for our Honda lawn mower. A sales person helped me. Do not know his name. The cashier Deb G (Deborah) was extremely helpful and pleasant.

Watch out if you need something done at Customer Service. If you get the arrogant very tall, fairly young man, you are in for a treat. He will treat your dismissively and do you a favor by taking care of you--if you are lucky. Do not try to go over his head to a manager. You will be told there is no manager to speak with, which is a total lie. This individual is the poster child for how not to create a positive experience. The other Customer Service people, and the Store Manager were all courteous and fine. No one should have to put up with attitude from someone for them to be taking your money. There are too many other places to shop. Admittedly, this was one person out of a store full of employees, but once you get a bad taste it is difficult to get rid of it.

The associates here Cheryl and Amy were just wonderful, excellent customer service! We live closer to two other home improvement stores but will definitely be returning here!

good shopping experience

The Reading HD is my closest HD go to store and has almost everything I am looking for in stock. On occasion I may need to go to Danvers or Saugus for some items that are not available for immediate pickup in Reading. The store location is great just off highway with easy in / out access to parking. Store is friendly and organized. When I need assistance there is usually someone roaming the aisle to ask.

Best home improvement store in the area. Always our 'go to' store for all our DIY projects. Customer Service representatives Ray M. and Mampta H. are absolutely fabulous. Extremely knowledgeable - they go out of their way to help customers. They are part of the reason we always return to this store and often seek them out for assistance.

I was very pleased with my shopping experience last night. Everything I needed was in stock and what I had trouble finding, the associate had no problem or hesitation as to its location. She made it simple and easy. The cashier was friendly and very engaging. An overall very satisfying experience.
