The Richfield Home Depot has become my go-to place for my home improvement needs. The staff is friendly & helpful, plus, the store is clean & well organized. With everything I'd possibly need, there is NO reason to shop elsewhere!

My cashier, Catherine, was awesome. It's a good home depot, all the home depot stuff in there.

I was greeted and offered assistance promptly and shown to the correct item. I was directed here from another THD store nearby. That other location had no fittings available, yet their store indicated 9 in stock. At this location, I needed 4 plumbing fittings. I found 3, yet inventory showed 15 in store. I did find my needed fourth fitting which was misplaced on the shelf. THD needs better inventory control.

Where to start? I am a single mom, Retired Army Veteran (Combat Action Badge, Bronze Star…) who bought a house right around the corner from Home Depot in Richfield, MN (2012). The gratitude I have for the employees at this store is beyond words. I don’t have much family and most of my repairs/ maintenance are done by myself. It can be extremely trying taking care of a home alone. Especially as a woman and single mom. I recently visited the store for a simple drill bit to fix my dishwasher. For the past year, I’ve had plans to paint my kitchen cupboards and do updates. Unfortunately, this past February/March caused havoc on my life. My roof collapsed, along with the ceiling and the basement flooded. I had to fight my insurance company, but lucked out with a new roof. My basement was of course, not covered. Then, this past month, my furnace went out, along with my dishwasher. It’s been a year of homeownership nightmares! Nonetheless, I needed to write you guys about this store and a particular employee, Sergio. He works in the paint department, but knows EVERYTHING! Over the past several years, he has gone way above and beyond any other customer service experience I can recall. His advise and patience has saved me likely thousands! I came to the store last week and was grateful to see him as I walked into the store. We greeted each other and I explained I just needed a drill bit and asked if he knew where I should look. Not only did he walk me to the appropriate isle, he explained why one bit was better than the other. We reminisced a bit about my past year and the nightmare I’ve dealt with. I then told him I was thinking of a different color for my cupboards and he explained why a darker color would not serve my intent etc. By the way, I was able to fix my dishwasher. ☺ Sergio has helped with paint, home insulation, drywall, flooring, plants… you name it. I called the store to express my gratitude and the super polite and receptive manager, Reno, asked if I had my receipt. Which I didn’t as I tossed it on my way out the door. As such, I revisited the store specifically to get a receipt to write this review (which I NEVER do). Thank you,, Sergio, thank you Reno, thank you Home Depot for your endless support of Veterans. My endless respect and gratitude.

Always find what I need and the employees always go the extra mile to help.

It's the best Home Depot I've ever shop at. Most of the time I can find the products I am looking for. I can always get assistance if I need one. The associates is very Knowledgeable

I had a terrible experience at Home Depot today. I walked over to the Pro Desk to be rung up and the associate pointed to the long line and told me he couldn't ring me up. One register was open with seven people in line. Finally, an associate called for back-up cashiers and I was told to go back to the Pro Desk. The employee who couldn't ring me up walked away and was hiding by the ladders while someone else rung me up.

I have traveled and visit many Home Depot's throughout the Twin Cities and across this nation. I believe the customer service and leadership under Ms. Trish the store manager is above and beyond approach!

Holly the cashier was rude, racist, unfriendly, unprofessional, unpleasant, and very disrespectful from start to finish. “READ WHAT IT SAYS!” was her response to our questions :(( I was pushing a heavy cart which was very hard to turn so I stood next to the exit (closer to cashier) since nobody was in line and empty and HOLLY said “THE LINE BEGINS THERE pointing her finger at the same time!” like we didn’t know how to read the signs :(( Customer service was third class :((( REALLY DISAPPOINTED!!! Home-depot lost a very loyal customer :(((

Ordering online is the best! Picking up in customer service with Fred is even better!! Found what I was looking for online, looked to see if it was in stock, ordered it, paid online and within 10 minutes I got an email stating my order was ready for pickup. Went after work to pick it up and Fred in customer service was the happiest, nicest man. Found my item quickly,signed me out, let me know there was a sale coming next week and I was out the door. GOLD STAR Richfield Home Depot and Fred!!

Though I'm not a regular, whenever I have stopped by the Richfield Home Depot, I've always left very content and with everything I was looking for. This most recent trip to the Home Depot, I was impressed by how personable and eager to help the employees were. I was chatting with one employee, Ellen, in the garden center, and after I marveled at how beautiful and healthy the succulents all looked, she shared that she removes any succulent that she wouldn't consider buying. She clearly takes pride in her work and does an excellent job providing superior products for customers!

Parking is great and very easy ,the store is neat organised and the folks in paint are knogleable friendly , and their is always some one to help and guide to were ya need to go or what ever you need . Fun place to shop

I went into this store with my 14 month old to purchase custom window treatments and the sales specialist helping me was nothing short of exceptional. I have been shopping at this store for 2.5 years now and have almost always had staff be kind and helpful, but today the help I received was above and beyond. I highly recommend this store for other home owners looking for some help and advice for their DIY projects.

I love the Richfield MN Home Depot. I encountered three wonderful employees. I was looking for a flameless candle. An employee(Sorry did not get his name) called another department for me. He told me they were only available online. He saved me a lot of going around the store looking. I also had two very helpful, cheerful and efficient cashiers. Elizabeth in the Garden Center and Habda at the inside registers. I try to comment after each visit. People are quick to complain but many do not take the time to report when they have a good experience. For me it is every time I go to this Home Depot.

Store was easy to find, easy to park and easy to find the product for my home. The store was lighted well, shelves were stocked and many staff moving about the building.

The store experience was good but the delivery experience was fantastic. We bought a refrigerator and delivery was scheduled for the following Monday between 11:00 and 3:00. The delivery guys arrived exactly at 11:00 after calling 30 minutes in advance. They worked extremely well as a team and delivered the refrigerator very, very quickly. When we informed them that they'd have to switch the door around (we'd also informed the store but the directions didn't make it down to the delivery guys), they took it in stride, had the right parts on hand and made the change quickly and efficiently. The delivery guys also helped us level-set the refrigerator and made sure that everything was as good as it could possibly be for us. Then they took away the old refrigerator and ALL the packing materials. VERY impressive and quicker than we had any right to expect! Thanks guys!

Store was well organized and there is always someone willing to help. Deb (i think that is her name), who helps in the nails/screws area - women manager, is wonderful!!!

I came into your store around 9:30 PM at night on Friday June 21st after I got off work to buy some vegetable plants and herb plants... hoping to plant my vegetable garden the next morning . I saw two of your associates passing me when I walked into the store I asked them if somebody could help me in the garden center. Casey stepped right up and said “I can help you!” He then walked me around and helped me pick out different vegetable plants and herb plants... he was very outgoing, knowledgeable with all the different plants you sell and extremely friendly as well. He also answered any question I had even if it didn’t make any sense, I think he could tell I was tired from a long day of work . Casey also helped me find spray paint and other items I needed around the store, even though it was not in his department. He was also still in a really good mood even though it was the end of the evening and the store was closing soon. I appreciated his kindness and outstanding service! I will for sure be back soon! It’s associates like this that will keep me coming back. Thanks again Casey!
