While the route there was circuitous (we're in New England, after all) the route to the paint department was well marked and easy to find. The store has gleaming floors, quite a feat for a working warehouse! And the products I was looking for were in neat displays and in mostly in the spots I expected them to be in. The staff I did find were helpful, professional, and polite. And the prices are great!

We go to our local Rockland Home Depot often and prefer it over the local Lowe’s by a wide margin. At HD the workers ask you if you need help. At Lowe’s they are often busy stocking shelves are seem put off by our interrupting question whereas HD staff routinely walk you to the spot to help find the item. Most outstanding is Ian who is friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful. He might be the manager but regardless on many occasions he has provided fantastic service. I did have an unfortunate encounter with a rude cashier at returns but that was not my normal experience. Keep up the great work Ian,

Its a good store they have lots of long term employees now (like DD in paint) who know what they are doing and will help you get the right stuff.

This Home Depot has got to be one of my faves from the items to the employees..simply the best, friendly and helpful. Thanks for making this store a good experience.

Robert was so helpful when we were there to purchase outdoor lighting. He searched to find the products in stores but they had none. He gave me the SKU number to order online. Above and beyond!!

For my most recent trip to the Home Depot I first went online to see if the product I was looking for was in stock as I did not want a wasted trip. (I avoid Home Depot because I feel like they cater to contractors) The website stated the item I was looking for was in stock and there were 598 available. I get to the store and go down to the garden department to find the garden blocks I was looking for. The pallet had one block on it. I then proceed to find a associate to see if there may be another place I could find them? At this point I have my phone out to show him what I was looking for and the sku #. As they all walk around with the little phone things to look things up with. The associate could not be bothered answering my question and just said if they aren't there they are out of stock. And before I could get out of my mouth that the website states....he walked off. (This is the typical service I get when at Home Depot) So at this point I walk to the front of the garden department and speak with the cashier. Cashier was great she radio'd for someone and "Aaron" appeared. I explained what I was looking for and that on the website it stated you had plenty. He pulled out his little phone thing..took the sku # from my phone and said we have to have them somewhere. So we both proceeded down back of the store and he found the empty bin. Above us in the rafters was a pallet of the garden blocks I wanted. He then asked how many I wanted and said he would get someone to get them down for me. Aaron and another associate come over look up and the second associate says Oh Yeah we have tons of those out back, we dont need to get them down!" Aaron then took my cart and went out back and filled the cart up for me. When he came back out with the blocks, he then said do you have more shopping to do? I said No this was it. He then proceeded to go up to the front with me while I paid and without even skipping a beat said lets get these into your vehicle. Can I tell you how nice it is to have someone help you. He did not need to go out of his way to help me to this extent. He just did! I was extremely thankful for his help! I truly wish all the associates could have his courtesy, I might shop there more.

Be aware that not all cashiers know how to apply military discount at register. They have reportedly have changed the process and not all cashiers are aware of that process.

came in close to closing and could tell had had a long day but treated me like the first customer of the day quick service and checkout and was patient when i had to make several calls about logistics for buying a washer /dryer thanks home depot

I have to give a shout out to the Rockland store. I went in to buy a Weber gas grill. An associate (I can't remember his name ) in the grill depart looked up the number and saw that they had 12. He went above and beyond to find them in Top stock, got a fork lift driver to take them down. That's 10 star customer service :) Great Job Rockland Home Depot!!!!!

If you need help, ask for Diane. Not everyone is quite so helpful. Very organized store and clean.

I have been shopping at this store for over twenty years and can honestly say that I have never had a bad experience. The employees have always been friendly and helpful at all times. Not once have I ever had to ask to see a manager.

Most of the employees are usually helpful. Our cashier the other day, Victoria, was very pleasant and efficient. Onver the years and on very rare occasion we have encountered seemingly poorly trained or uncaring associates. Perhaps they were just too busy to help us. In any case, our experiences at the Rockland Home Depot have been good and occasionally GREAT!

Impossible to get someone to help inside the store. Took 10 minutes just to find someone that could help. Paid for assembly and delivery. Assembled wrong and delivered to the wrong location at the house. When you call the store it literally takes 5-10 minutes to get someone to answer. Horrible.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. I had to return an item and I don't think I waited 5 minutes in line. Checkout was also quick and easy after I got the item I should have bought originally! This is a great store!

Problem after problem. Lumber arrived days late with no notification of the delay. Cost me hundreds extra in labor costs due to a crew onsite with no lumber. Highly disappointed.
