Great store with helpful employees.

Nice clean store. Knowledgeable employees. great stock on hand.

I wish I could say that shopping at Home Depot is usually a positive experience but this is not often the case. Employees are often hard to find who seem inclined to help or have the skills to answer technical questions, but recently I had the pleasure of working with two guys in the Flooring Department of the Bridgepoint, San Mateo, California store. Their first names are Chase and Dave and they were well informed, skilled, had a positive attitude, helpful and made certain I was satisfied. This experience is so different from my usual experience I had to write about it. Other Home Depot employees could learn a lot about customer service from these two!

Today I had a horrible experience for the first time shopping at this location. I have never felt so disrespected and belittled by an employee in my life. I would like to make a former complaint about the issue. The employee gave me nothing but attitude during my whole checkout transaction. I had pointed out that she scanned some items twice and is charging me extra for it. That seemed to upset her as she replied very rudely back raising her voice telling me “I know how to do my job”. Employee Lolita rudely asked me to back out away from the register. I was behind the pexi glass and making the purchase. How can I move back away and be able to pay at the register. I understand the concern of the pandemic, but at least have your employees be able to address you properly and kindly.

Visited this store after nearly a year, the store was clean and the seem to follow all the safety and covide-19 protocol. I was impressed by how welcoming and kind the front entrance associate/ gentleman was and last not least the excellent customer service experience via Mr. Epanol

With my experience, if I do not know exactly where thingss are, I have to wait for what seams 20-30 mins. for help.

I went to the store at 11 am to go to the garden dept to buy plants and potting soil.There were no associates to be found in the whole garden area. I went in the store to look for something else and went down 5 aisles and could not find an associate to help me. Has Home Deport turned into a self service store? I went back to the garden dept and since I could not find anyone to help me lift the heavy bags of potting soil and soil I struggled to load them on my cart. I then waited for at least 10 mina to check out.

The Danco hose washers are very good, thanks.

We had an excellent worker assist us by putting our Christmas tree on our car. Dennis was extremely helpful and professional.

Cashier Manuela, made my shopping experience much better this time. She provided AMAZING customer service. I had asked 3 prior employees for assistance and all they did was call someone over the speaker to get someone from gardening to assist with no one showing up. Finally, I asked Manuela for assistance and she took the time and initiative to look throughout the store to find my Christmas tree. She is a perfect picture example of WHAT EXCEPTIONAL customer service is. She could teach other employees the same.

Convenient location, well stocked. They have everything! Helpful staff.. Sale cashier Susan was particularly helpful and brightened my day. Big, wide parking spaces near the lumber area which is great if you drive a big wide truck! I get new ideas every time I am there!

The store was easily accessible and I was able to find the aisle I needed right away. John and Lourdes the store associates that I interacted with where extremely helpful.

There was a bit of a snafu in the price for a piece of wood my friend and I needed for a school project. Your employe Lourdes was more than happy to help us out. Lourdes is so clearly committed to the success of Home Depot store #0632. She is more than deserving of a raise and or promotion. Before Lourdes helped us out our visit was on the brink of shambles. Thanks to Lourdes's quick whit and deep knowledge and understanding of the of the Home Depot general operations and computer system we left the store happy as clams. Tanks again Lourdes !

Grace under pressure and during a rush: Went in recently and though the check out line was very long I appreciated the fact that cashier Reina was super efficient in checking me out with all the goods but also that when the receipt paper wouldn't work she quickly resolved that by going to another register and creating a printed copy for my benefit.

This is a convenient place to shop with knowledgeable professionals to help out with the building process.

I went to the store and got a quote for a screen door. Good price and had a discount on it. Was told they could lock the price in and get measurement for installation. Took 4 days for the measurements to get into the system- which were the exact measurements I gave them. Went to purchase the door and installation and the story changed. Now can't give you the price we promised because we had to add the installation and that changed the order. I spent a lot of time to get them to verify they could honor the price and even went to the store to try to get the measurements into the system to get a quote and buy it before the promotion date ended. Wasn't happy at all. Talked to the manager. He honored the material price but jacked up the installation cost to get back to the original price. Wasted a ton of time - they could care less. Don't trust anything they tell you. Try to find a more reputable store.

Friendly staff. Cleanest and most helpful of the Home Depots in the area.

Helpful employees, disorganized store.

As a contractor the store offers plenty of tools and supplies I need almost on a daily basis. I limit interactions with employees because most lack the knowledge, and aren't approachable. Always seem like they're in themthe of doing something. I prefer in and out. Get what I need and leave. Anything that helps expedite my purchases, and time in store is very important to me. My last 2 store visits were less than satisfactory. Tool rental emoloyee acted like he didn't want to be there. Fortunately I was with my friend who needed a 100' drain snake, otherwise he would have been unprepared or misinformed with the safe operation of tool, along with not being given any necessary attachments for the snake. Very disrespectful with the way he replied. I knew what we needed, and told him exactly what we needed from him. Second visit, returns employee was reluctant to help price match tool I purchased that morning. Showed her the home depot online price, and she said they do not match that since she cannot confirm it's the same tool. I told her to ask her manager. She spoke with him/her and proceeded to check price on her computer. She says it stills shows the same price as my receipt. I told her the price was online, and from different store located nearby. She said they do not match online prices, nor prices from other home depot stores. There was a huge line for returns, and being courteous, I told her I will order it via online. I will go out of my way to order the same tool online at the discounted price, then come back and return it at the higher price. She said that's fine. I asked her for the manager's name she spoke with, and she hesitated for a second and gave me a name. I'm sure it wasn't the person she spoke with on the phone, but her unwillingness to help just didn't sit well.

Very helpful folks in self checkout section that helped me with a multi item purchase that would have taken me quite a while to scan myself.
