Although the whole experience took a lot longer then expected, Nate and Angie at Pro were super helpful. Had help from Irene after searching the store for an item, she was able to determine it was an online only item so that saved me time and energy.

Do not go to this store if you are looking for good, or just decent customer service. The young employees do not care to help you--they are on their cell phones, and will avoid you if possible. The store really needs some training on employee customer service. They just don't care about you, your needs, or whether you shop there or not.

I was greeted by every associate in the store. They not only helped me with my at home project but they were very pleasant to talk too.

Went in to check stuff out I intended to buy at a later time and it was in stock. Didn’t look like anything was really out. That’s always a good sign the store is running well. Sabrina at self checkout helped me out when I had a problem and saved me a headache.

Unbeatable price and unmatchable customer service ask for Jonathan and Eric.

I can always count on the management at San Pedro Home Depot to resolve problems with materials or parts quickly. They have a real nack for making life in the plumbing business smoother.

I am moving away in fact 1700 miles away and I needed boxes of all sizes and there were all there at my Home Depot #1005. I will miss the friendly smiling faces when I leave. There is no HD as close as this one was for me at my new home.

This store has historically had the most unhappy unfriendly employees. Also being in a military town they act so annoyed when you ask for the military discount

Just want to shout out how wonderful the workers are at San Pedro Home Depot. Yea, there are a few not so great ones, but the majority of the employees are very knowlegeable and helpful. Especially the ones that have been there for decades. If you look at the apron and see the round badge with a number on it, talk to the people with the highest number. Those are the most senior and knowledgeable employees. Those are the go to folks who can answer your questions and come up with solutions to help solve your issues.

Hands down a better store staff in plumbing. Dave, Gene, and Terresa asisted me on an AC evap line connection to the vanity drain pipe. They are the most skilled and likeable people, I really enjoyed speaking with them. Eric, Tim, Johnathan, Danny and Paul make the store function very well. Easy to get things done here. Management in Contractor Services at this store, particularly Ben and Yolanda, manage my activities splendidly. Ck this out! 40 Gal Rheem gas heater; Platinum. Ben asks, "Your Job is in Fullerton?" I say, "Yes, I am a little bit concerned about traffic today with the WH." Ben says, "No big deal Bruce, I just called Fullerton store, they have the unit you want and since you've paid for it, they will have it ready for you when you arrive." One hour later The Fullerton HD construction services had the unit waiting, and ck this out! The manager says to the lot guy, "Please take care of this plumber for us and cart this unit out to his waiting vehicle." He did. Then In less than 15 mins. I arrived at the Job. Finally, from San Pedro Home Depot to Fullerton to the job and following installation; the owner of the property turned on the hot water supply and out came the best hot water he ever saw happen! (In 15 mins. hot!!!! with Platinum model). Epilogue is this. 7 am I arrive SPHD and Ben does his superior service, out the door 7:15 am, next on the freeway arrive Fullerton. P/U heater Fullerton HD ( 10 mins.) to the job in 15, installed the WH in 45 mins. (from truck to final combustible gas check, receive money for the work and walk out the door. On the road again, back in San Pedro in 40 mins. Total elapsed time somewhere in the 3-4 hrs.. I am now eating lunch across the street from the San Pedro HD. I really appreciate these terrific people such as BEN AND YOLANDA! With out there personal interest in my success the ease and travel that took place would not have been possible. I really take my hat off to the Corporate People also. Their policy, procedures and freedom of choice they allow for Construction Services to make efficient decisions made this plumber happy! TY

Besides being a well managed store, the plumbing department has on board some very, very experienced staff; terrific people such as Gene, Dave, and Terresa. Today, Terresa in plumbing understood the coupling from 1/4" to 5/16" it was for a refrigerator water supply connection. She continual does very well at solving my plumbing situations. She is on it quickly and effectively; no idling around, thinking about the product, hoping she'll get it right; I am here to tell you today, Terresa goes immediately to the location of parts; seconds later she is opening the package and certifying the proper fit. I really, really appreciate Terresa she is detailed. (C-36 734593)

Gene in plumbing was quick to size up the situation and act appropriately. I was there today to pick up a refrigerator ice maker line and valve. He immediately directed my attention to the ice maker kit. Saved me lots of time. I appreciated Gene's ability to get me the parts I needed. (C-36, 734593)

I believe the managers at this location are the most well trained. Eric, Tim, Danny, Johnathan, and Paul for example have a definite advantage over other stores; they have the "Hands on Approach." I am amazed because at any given time, I have observe one of these terrific guys working side to side with employees, stocking, organizing, asking questions, welcoming, and making sure things run smoothly.

I recommend the San Pedro Home Depot because management is exceptional. Managers such as Eric, Tim, Paul, Danny and John do a continually great job. For example, I came to the store to prepare for a furnace removal job. I needed special tools. Eric understood what an important tool a Combustible Gas Leak Detection Device is. He sent me to Plumbing whereupon Dave picked out the tool I needed. Eric says something and people listen. He has assisted me effectively for about 6 months. He knows I have to get the job done. I feel Eric knows he has to the job done. Today he said to return to him if I needed anything else. Fast, friendly, skillful, and service with a smile sums up this place. Great store great people.

Let me say management at this location is exceptional. For example, this morning I entered gardening. I saw the two managers Tim and Eric demonstrating product placement to employees who were actively listening. They had a demonstration about neatness, and how each item is placed. I thought this was very good. This store is ready for the Fourth of July. They do it right here. I bought a moving blanket, and in a few minutes was directed to the location and then minutes later at check out and on my way. This store has a team spirit. I enjoy shopping here.

The San Pedro Home Depot is far and away the BEST home improvement store. I purchase plumbing products at several contractor's supply locations. When I interact with the San Pedro Home Depot Plumbing Department, I feel I am receiving the same professional treatment. People who know and understand the products. For example today I was discussing with Terresa the common thread types. I have also had this same discussion with Gene, and Dave. Teressa understood the difference. I bought the hose threaded shark bite, and installed it easily and correctly thank you Teressa. It's a breeze when you have great people assisting. Same goes with these terrific Managers, Eric, Tim, Johnathan, Danny and Paul. They never drop the ball once I make my concerns known. They work tearlessly to resolve and go forward. Twice I had difficulties with the control valves on new water heaters. Willingly they got the correct replacement and my customers were satisfied.(b.bacon C-36).

I purchased several items in Gardening. The products we were looking for were on hand. Lots of merchandise was available. Staff was considerate and very focused. One thing I did notice was the very diligent hard working managers, Tim and Johnathan. In fact I honestly can't recall a time I have entered this store and not received a "Welcome, Good Morning, Did you find what you were looking for, Can I help, and last but not least, Can I check you immediately?" Yes far and away this is a great store with great people who really make sense. Employees must be very well trained by the management at this location.

Britany in Gardening was very helpful. During my transaction Britany understood my questions and gave me a clear answers. She has a very alert focus and pleasant delivery. You can ask her questions and she is more than willing to come back with good answers. I think a bright intelligent person such as Britany would always be my first choice as cashier. Great gal I appreciated her assistance. Same goes with the management. Ask Paul, Eric, Johnathan or Danny any question at all, and immediately you'll have an answer; knowing exactly where such and such is located. Great Store! There is lots of hard working, devoted, and pleasant people here. I've appreciated shopping at the San Pedro Home Depot more than any other Home Improvement Store.
