I recommend the San Pedro Home Depot because the employees are hands on directed. Such as today, David in paint did not hesitate to walk me to the location I needed to go. Then, he patiently explained the product I needed. Next, at the mixing counter Pedro took over and matched the gallon perfectly. Finally, in construction services, Mitch was a great help explaining where a material was and how he was willing to walk with me to this location. Last, Paul in self check got me quickly through the transaction I hardly had time to thank him. This guy Paul waste no time! Great store to go if you are a busy contractor such as myself.

This guy Paul in self check is so efficient, he really knows what I need and his assistance is appreciated. Same goes for Martin. These two guys are dedicated intrinsically. I guess you'd describe them as having "Good Character." The check the other day for example, they checked to see if all the items were inside a box of plumbing products. Most stores just send you through the line, not these guys!

Well organized and committed staff who work at it every min. every hour and every day to make it a quality focused interaction. They do not waste time, and management is extremely approachable on concerns and transactions. Their goal always strikes me as a win-win thing! Meaning lets work it out, let's discuss the matter and if I have a legitimate complaint, they will go the additional mile to resolve it. (C-36, C-33, ASB, #734593)

There are things some people can do and others can't. I think this store does it better than any other I use, not withstanding the professional suppliers where only a licensed plumber can purchase. But I will say this and I have said it before, PLUMBING DEPARTMENT AT SAN PEDRO HOME DEPOT HAS QUALITY AND EXPERIENCED PEOPLE YOU'D BE HARD TO FIND ANYWHERE ELSE! Honestly this great team Terresa, Dave and Gene have made my business a heck of lot easier and for sure more efficient. They sell me the right part for the proper connections, every time, every time.

There is a lot that can be said for the employees working here. They are knowledgeable, considerate, and will generally do what needs to be done. I use this store because the management makes it easy. They have the store clean and orderly. The products are continuously stocked. Terrific people here who work to make it happen.

SPHD is extremely well organized and employees are busy. I see them more effective now, than before the COVID. I use this store for 70% of my contracting purchases. What strikes me as important; besides the great employees in each department, and how careful and direct the managers are. They make it happen over here every day I walk in. ALL the items I need are there, safe conditions, friendly people wanting to do good work, and they have style! THE PROTECTION IS IN PLACE! I think the entire staff understands the importance of creating and setting a good example in our challenge to beat the Virus...I really feel good about shopping here! Masks, cleaning, displays selling virus protection products and shield in place at registers! Managers practicing distancing, and when I speak to staff, I feel like the concerns to protect the public are No. 1...I just get that feeling as though the people working here have been double trained to keep public safety a big concern!

Professional and kind people who work here

Great people working at this San Pedro Home Depot. I like them because it is a Home Town place to buy. I have bought supplies throughout So. Cal at many, many other Home Depot Stores. The San Pedro Home Depot is by far my favorite place. The other Depots have great service and products, don't get me wrong; always the same good quality. But, what I think is terrific here is the People! Over the past years, the staff has made an effort to be interested in my business! If I use Customer Service, the guys and gals at the desk make it happen, quickly and with a friendly response. Management has always been willing to discuss my concerns, and resolve them rapidly. The plumbing department is exceptional. I am a licensed plumber. These great people in plumbing know the supplies as good or better than I do. The terrific people in plumbing are always stocking, and are willing to discuss my particular product difficulties. They really make the efforts at this store. This store works for me.

Customer service people Arianna and Jennifer. These terrific customer service desk people make it happen. They are sensationally quick, accurate, helpful and easy to speak with, great people. I returned a sack of parts unused from my previous weeks work. These great gals sensed I am a busy contractor. Immediately they check me out. Next, I am at plumbing. Terresa who is extra great at knowing where everything is, tell me my valve is at such and such location. She nailed it! I reach over into the bin, there it was. Moments later I am at cashiers and that went swiftly. Time from arrival until departure only about 5 mins. When you talk about efficiency and friendly staff who want to do things right, then this is the place you start talking about!

I like this store because the people here will work with you. Ex., ALL plumbing people are smart and capable and really perform. I have always notice them in motion. Such as today. I bought an American Standard Champ 4 toilet. They ask if I had the correct valve? Did I have the correct supply length? What about flange leakage? Do you need a flange extender? Finally Terresa ask if I needed a cart. I mean every time I am here! I am a licensed plumbing contractor (734593), and usually I must work independently; doing everything for myself. This can be a real drag some times. But this type of assistance is wonderful. Takes a load off me, made the purchase move along, and their friendly style is refreshing~ Works for my every time. Then I went to check out. So, I have this heavy plumbing item on a cart. Edgar and Linda, the cashiers notice this, because I was pondering. They asked me if I wanted to leave my cart off to one side, while I venture back into the isle. So, with them watching my stuff I quickly went and picked up the line cleaner I needed. Thank you San Pedro Home Depot People, you are the best thing going.

This great guy Dave in construction services really made it happen for me today. I bought the Henry's rubberized roof cement. Dave knew exactly the application process, and the correct product for the job; and there are many, many different products on the shelves; it is almost impossible to find the correct one; that is unless you read and read. Since Dave was there to help out, he located the correct product. Saves me time, saves me hazel, and I leave with out a lot of stress; actually feeling really great about the job and and work ahead. My opinion about this store is: It doesn't get any better than this!

A Basically good Home Depot with outstanding employees. Management is doing an exceptional job at COVID protection. I asked the manager Tim about COVID this AM. Immediately he said, "COVID protection, the health and safety of the people who are here is my prime concern. I think about it all the time. I make it a priority the first thing in the morning when I arrive, and it is the last thing I re check when I leave." I feel good about hearing this and then shopping here. The rule is: You must wear a mask to enter.

Gina employee of Home Depot made my purchase of 2 drain cleaning machines happen. Home Depot having Gina and other employees have help me out with purchases,tools, washer dryer and set of tools. Thank you Home Depot I'm looking forward having you as my material vendor for South Bay Plumbing.

I saw some very good efforts at COVID protection and the terrific managers Tim, Jenny, and Danny always at the forefront, watching over the action, and making sure things are going according to plan. It's a "smooth" operation and I give a lot of credit to these dedicated managers. I am sure this is one of the best stores on the chain. I am in this store daily, and their stuff works for me, every time. Other stores do not have this level of quality. The people in electrical department have abilities to size up the situation quickly and walk me over to the location of the part I needed. I have received the most excellent service from electrical associates at this store. I am doing a total remodel of my house. I came for plumbing parts this week. The people in plumbing are quick to locate the parts I needed. Last thing is, the paint department is just great! The match paint here better, and quicker than any other store I've shopped at. I think a lot of people shop here because it is a quality place. I see many of my friends shopping here and I've always heard good results from. I like shopping this store.

I was watching the manager working diligently, organizing the COVID displays Sunday morning. This guy Tim, really had a handle on it. He said good morning. Then I saw how busy he was. I could see how interested he was in doing what he could to keep customers informed, using distancing and feel welcome all at the same time. This guy Tim really stands out. He interacted with me several times about COVID protection. I appreciate the information. Then once I found items I needed; some days I returned 2 times, but was not slowed down in the least bit. I like the people at this store, these are happy people doing a terrific. The women doing the cashier check out continuously do a great job. They handle every transaction I had today quickly. I was at the store many times in the past few days. I am a state licensed contractor. I am seriously saying this place is rock solid!!! I can go in, find what I need, proceed to check out and interact with these terrific ladies at the check out!! Very skillful gals-Never, ever felt the slightest inconvenience when they are doing their work! These gals make it happen!

This store is doing and excellent job at Virus protection, really excellent. This store is taking it very seriously. Management is showing they care about contractors by providing barriers of protection and practicng and implementing social distancing. ALL in ALL its the "Team Spirit" the managers Such as Tim, Jenny and Danny project! I think they really get everyone on board. It is a good place to shop. Really terrific people as cashiers. If I have opportunity to buy here I do it. I like the people here. Really pleasant and good at the job-in/out quickly!

I'd say how great it is to get good service. For example today I bought a 5 of Henry's roofing coating. Positive experience. Yolanda at Construction Services knew exactly the nature of the material. She was focused and greeted me so friendly and warm it just makes me happy I arrived at the San Pedro Home Depot. Then, there was Jennifer in Customer Service. What a great gal Jennifer is. She knows the job backwards and forwards, and handles the transactions like the best Pro! What is more there is Jenny. What a terrific manager she is. I 've been buying roof coating. She knew exactly the nature of the product and then directed me to the person in that specific department-wow that helps a lot. Finally, there is Theresa in plumbing. As a licensed plumber I have to have first rate information about the products I purchase. Theresa can do! She knows these parts 100%!!! I am not kidding when I say the San Pedro Home Depot Plumbing Department is on a level similar to the "Contractors Only" supply stores I use. They ROCK!

Today the manager was able to size up my situation and act appropriately. She got a line on the product I was purchasing quickly. I was able to proceed to check out and leave quickly to go perform my work on my job. I sure appreciate management at this store. They understand the needs and concerns of a busy contractor such as myself. I have many contractor buddies who say the same thing as I do. They say this store has more competent people working there, than anywhere else they buy at. Check this out: I don't like to think the plumbing staff knows more about plumbing than I do. They some times KNOW more. It's true however, the new materials and products arriving each year make their effort indispensable. Happens all the time now. With many unfamiliar products such as new plumbing products, it feels like a new product comes out each week. Connections, faucets, adapters, together with an entire new line of toilets. Big difference in toilets. Super flush technology. Wow! The plumbing associate at this store turned me onto the American Standard Champion 4. I've always install this model for reason it doesn't clog! I have so many complements from repeat customers who absolutely feel glad I installed this particular unit for them. It's great! Good to have customer's praising me, rather than scolding. Last, I had great service this AM at the Customer Service desk. Jennifer and the other great gal who helped me, were terrific! Just to hear: "A pleasant good morning and have a good day," they say to me and the day begins! Thank you San Pedro Home Depot team, a great bunch of guys and gals who make it happen daily-just right!

Jennifer, PJ, and Jimmy at the returns desk save me time. Not just a few mins. but over a period of a year it amounts to hours! I appreciate their skills and more than that, their willingness to get in there, get the job completed and finish it with a smile and have a good day! Wow, hard to believe you can save so much time when these 3 people are working as a team! Hours!!!!!! Best managers available because they want it to happen this way! Yolanda and Ben and Dave in construction services handle my large orders very, very quickly. They gave me assistance to load, measure, and cost materials. Ben was consistently on top of item line. Dave always used mechanical means when appropriate- he Saved my back and saved my time, daily. Yolanda remarked daily, asking what type of progress I was making and how I was holding up!-She was supportive and put a smile on this tired contractors' face. Here's what they helped with for months and months! Last year these 3 terrific people's assistance was instrumental in completing the form work I had going on. I spent 6 mos. planning, digging, pumping, and blocking. I built a patio out on to a slope. The grade was 45 and 3/4 of soil was fill because the owner had added a room, dug the footings and left the slope in fill. It was a most difficult assignment, and some days nothing went right. But these three people always were available to give support and provide all the materials. In fact, the Management was helpful by supplying me with an endless supply of damaged rebar! It filled up the forms and made it stronger than ever! Heavy concrete work needs lots of people. These three made, and the managers made work go on! Thanks.

Everything is ready organized friendly staff

I highly reccomend the San Pedro Home Depot as consistently giving me the best service anywhere. Like today, Yolanda and Ben, then Paul and Leann were just great! Giving me directions for a supply I needed. These folks just send me over to the location and I had a smile on my face-very cool! Because the store has some unwritten policy to make customers like me (contractor) feel welcome. Other stores I leave feeling like I was causing the employees a problem by asking for service. Not here! Service is what they do! On the other hand, I have a concern about dogs allowed in ALL the Home Depots. Like today, I am like reaching for supplies in the roofing section. Suddenly I see this Pit Bull with a head the size of a basketball. He rolls by sniffing. I was like thinking I really wish this animal was some place else. Worse, the owner was obliviously...He had this indifference going on. So, I saw his manner, and it was like: "Hey, this is my Pit Bull and he goes where I go, too bad!" I used to say something, but I just don't have the answers. I feel like the Home Depot Corporation is taking an awful risk allowing dangerous pets inside. I just don't buy it! I have been in one Pit Bull attack! One is enough for me. I was in the ER, and my dog was in the ER at the vets. It is so unprovoked! Just in a second the animal turned and attacked. The owner lost control, I mean it happened to me and it can happen again. Home Depot Corporation must have a $100,000,000 of liability insurance, to allow such liberties. Especially when the people working here direct pet owners to the small "No Pet" sign. Again and again I have heard checkers say: There is a sign outside that says, "No Pets!" But customers with their animals ignore the sales people. So as a Contractor who deals with safety daily, I must again tell the Home Depot Corporation: HAVING A PIT BULL IN THE STORE IS AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN! I really want a person like me to feel there isn't a dangerous condition I should look out for. I mean, I have to remind my people over and over again about safety; especially working on re-bar or pouring concrete, and near caissons. ALL of us on a job remind each other, again and again.

Did you ever get the feeling that you wanted to go at some improvement stores??? I mean sometimes it's so bad it gets to be almost a bar room brawls! Ok fine, you're the boss check out person! I give up! You're right! Etc. However, at this San Pedro store where I have purchased supplies; especially plumbing, I leave feeling it was worthwhile. Managers have given me excellent service when returning items. Never any delays. They want me to come back! Check out staff really makes the day begin! They have the right personality and attitudes! Friendly and focused.

Mason in the garden area is extremely knowledgeable and personable. He knows his plants and gave me helpful tips . I appreciate his outgoing personality and hard work.

San Pedro Home Depot always has been and always will be the best place for me to buy from. I am sure it is the management. I doubly sure it is the people working here! They have a genuine interest in making each of my visits worthwhile. I mean that most sincerely. I have purchased at most ALL Home Depots in the LA area, OC, and some in San Diego. Each time I return to the San Pedro Home Depot, I am reminded how well this store operates. Because my purchases are carefully carried out. I get in, get what I need, help if I need it, get to the check out, get greeted by great guys and gals; who by the way, just make it happen! Just right! Just the way it should be, with out a lot of drama and haggling! Managers impress me with their humble but skillful directions to their staff with just the right amount of encouragement...no confrontation, no ridicule, and a pleasant conversation. Just makes more sense doing it this way! I means more time for me on the job! Thank you San Pedro Home Depot, you do a lot of things right!

Straight away a 5 Star Store! Great people, good service, they really care about what they are doing. I can tell by the way each and every person working here takes their job seriously, but at the same time with a pleasant attitude. Other stores are extremely difficult. Some stores I have actually been told by employees, "Sorry I am busy you are on your own." I continually support this store for ALL my contractor friends. They know as well as I do this place does a first class job. Gets you in, gets the job done and gets you out quickly with out all the drama! I cannot say this about most stores I purchase at other than the professional plumbing supply stores I use. I will also say Paul handles the self check like a pro! The San Pedro Homedepot is a full resource center for my handyman needs. I trust the San pedro location, mainly, because I trust the answers I receive from the associates. The product line at this location has never let me down. I would recommend the San Pedro Homedepot to anybody in need of such products and service.
