I received great customer service at this store. Two employees worked hard to find the freezer I wanted, which was not on the shelves, but still on a truck at the loading dock. They worked to quickly locate the item and coordinate with loading personnel to have it ready for pickup shortly thereafter. Great Customer Service and friendly personnel.

Charged for split up moulding.

Would shop there again in a heartbeat. Rick, the manager, honored a clearance price of an item from another store, even though it was not on clearance at this store.

All of the info we were given was wrong and then we were told customer service could help us … and they couldn’t. It was a mess after a mess.

Look into BBB complains. Most Issues from other customers are similar in nature,, so obviously there is some business practices or tactics that need to change

Had a great experience while looking for new home appliances. We were actually looking at cabinets when Bill Nyasio in the adjacent appliance department said hi and asked us to stop by if/when we had the chance. We were thinking of replacing the washer and dryer so we did swing over there later and he greeted us with a smile. After asking several questions he pointed out a few different options. We chose the set we liked and unfortunately the dryer was not available. However, Bill went to work and found us a comparable option that was actually less expensive and every bit as good. Thanks Bill!

We had an incident of purchasing and transporting a new grill to our home just the other night. In the transport, the grill tipped over and was damaged and so we returned it to the store, explained what happened. The store manager who handled our return, ordered and new replacement grill and provided delivery service was exceptional. We had a new grill at our place less that 10 hrs after this happened. The manager was friendly, understanding, and helpful in a very happy outcome. We really appreciate his thoughtful service.

John Herr(spelling?) was exceptional! We were installing outdoor string lights and came in to get some items to complete the project. He gave me another idea on what do use and how to put them and suggested the products needed for our situation. They look absolutely fabulous. No drooping! If I wouldn’t have been helped by him I know our project would not turned out as well. Thank you John!

Appliance Department Salesmen Bruce rocks

Bruce was knowledgeable and helpful. Despite being swamped with customers, he made sure everyone had a positive experience and had their concerns addressed.

I had a great experience at the Shakopee Home Depot. I just moved to Shakopee and have never been to this one, but it was exceptional. Bruce in appliances and Catherine D. in Flooring/Countertops helped me a great deal! I got what I needed and it was quick and painless. They are very knowledgeable and have great customer service. Thank you both!

We asked 4 employees for help & everyone of them dismissed us. However, Fern was amazing & helped us with all of our questions & concerns. He did a great job with helping us find supplies for our specific projects. Best employee hands down!

How can a store that is selling bulk garden supplies like mulch not have the nursery entrance open on a spring afternoon (even though there are dozens of employees wandering around doing nothing - not even asking people if they can help them)? How can a store selling lots of large items have ZERO flatbed carts available anywhere in the store or parking lot? If you want to wander the store and parking lot to find a flatbed cart and then push a loaded cart from one end of the store to the opposite end to pay while traversing the obstacle course of displays in the aisle, then this is the store for you.

Needed an under range microwave, checked online, found the make and model at the store we usually go to. Went in, got directed to the correct area, was helped by one of the most knowledgeable people I’ve ever met...also cheerful and conscientious about safety procedures to get it down from a high shelf. Checkout on the spot...a very smooth experience from start to finish!

The returns cashier stole money from me by lying and claiming I made a return without receipt. I was trying to exchange a damaged Husky product and the receipt wouldn't scan, do the cashier entered the transaction manually and listed it as no receipt, causing the refund amount to be lower. It should have just been a product exchange, not a return and repurchase, especially when the cashier lied and said I didn't have a receipt, which was then kept by the cashier. As far as I'm concerned, this cashier is a thief.

if you are looking for a store to get in and get out with nobody bothering you this is the place for you! howver if you have questions go to another location/store. Went in to buy a water heater, no flat carts anywhere, told to go find one myself by an employee when i asked where they are (very nice!), find an abondoned one and head back to isle 9 to place on cart and there was an employee who was very helpful to the gentleman who wasn't buying a water heater but ignored me completly. Had questions but when the employee came back to the isle and saw us standing there waiting he decided we were not worth his time. Fantastic Customer Support!

I have consistently enjoyed great service and knowledge-sharing at the Shakopee Home Depot. I am always able to find the right person to help me - even though sometimes I shop at odd hours. The employees are friendly and helpful and it's pretty easy to find things, especially when people are so willing to assist. The store is always clean, and parking is ample and close to the doors. This is by far my favorite Home Depot location, even though there are four locations pretty close to me.

This store is in a great location next to several others shopping needs, it has things I would not think they carried like a universal remote for my TV, I was shopping for something else and found they had a TV remote which my kids lost, could not believe it but I guess if you don't ask you won't know:) The employees were very friendly/dog friendly also.

This store is exceptional! I love shopping here for all of my home improvement needs and home projects. They always have friendly faces to help you around the store. Every experience I have had at this store has been positive and all the employees are extremely helpful. I personally drive the extra time it takes to shop at this location because it always exceeds my expectations compared to the closer home improvement stores to me. On top of all that the store is always clean and organized, which makes it easy to find any items I may need.

As always, good items, great prices, helpful and friendly customers. Just the type of retail experience every store should offer.

The associates went WELL beyond what I'd expect for employees to do!

Because of the health problems I have had since April with Covid-19 and pneumonia, I had doubts that I would be able to figure out the task ahead, but I knew the only store I would find any staff that knew how to do the job was Home Depot. There were plenty of choices to get the job done, and the items were well organized but I still had questions about the right way to do it. I showed the person who was helping me what I was working with and he was able to reduce my choices down to the most practical and I checked out with confidence that I would be able to complete the task ahead of me. I also asked if I could get help loading some bags of softener salt because I can no longer lift the 40 pound bags. He made sure I had all the help I needed to get everything into my vehicle. I knew that when I got home I would have help there to get the salt in the tank.
