Today while shopping at my favorite store: I needed to create a latch system for a custom baby gate! I was only there for 10 minutes total. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Even the manager of the store stopped, greeted me with a big friendly smile and a hello before offering me some assistance. Nate was his name, really great customer service, he really got me out of the pickle I was in!

We did find the area of where the product is We got the assistance almost right away . The store was very clean. Everyone was very friendly and helpful with the virus going on.

I really dislike self-checkout. I don't want to do the work of a cashier unless you give me a discount. You have employees standing around those self-checkout kiosks to make sure I scan everything when they could be providing that checkout service. I feel like I'm in the TSA line at the airport. If i buy more than a couple of things there's too little counter space to place them on. It's just a bad process and set-up with way too many steps for the scan gun, touch screen, cash insertion, change, card swipe/insert, receipt printing, bagging, etc.

I really enjoy shopping at this Home Depot. The people are always so helpful without being pushy. And the woman in the paint department (maybe Mary or Sarah - sorry) who helped me salvage 2 gallons of paint that were the wrong color (my mistake) was incredibly patient and thorough in making sure that the color I ended up with was exactly what I wanted. I do a lot of home projects and I really appreciate how they work together to make sure the right person gets to me to help me with what I need.

THE STORE WAS CLEAN AND TINA WAS A GREAT HELP FINDING ME THE CORRECT ICE MELT THAT I NEEDED AND DIRECTED ME TOWARDS THE PAINT DEPARTMENT TO GET THE PAINT THAT I NEEDED

We went into the Shakopee store and purchased a water heater - face to face and received a quote with details of the job. Spoke to the team over the phone - again - nothing mentioned and here is your total. Now I have someone in my house asking for an additional $300 for an Electrician coming - don't ya think that is a BIG miss on the quote and discussions? You cannot sell a service and forget part of the service. That is stringing someone along and fraud as far as I am concerned. So I have someone in my house saying pay up or you get nothing. How about HOME DEPOT - you come back and get your stuff or pay for the additional from YOUR mistake!

Laura did a great job of helping me pick out and new washer and dryer. That was a huge purchase for me and she was very helpful!

I Purchased three major appliances from the store in the past two months. The second appliance I Purchased Weather was a refrigerator for my garage. However, after telling the sales woman that I was looking for a refrigerator specifically for my garage at least three times, she sold me a refrigerator that absolutely cannot be in a garage. I had to return this refrigerator which was the third item I returned in the past six weeks to this Home Depot. The other two purchases I made I received damaged and had to return both of those items back to the store. I am blind, and I am very specific as to what I’m looking for and did not appreciate being sold an appliance that absolutely could not be in a garage because the freezer will not function properly. That is exactly what happens after having the refrigerator for not even a week, the items in my freezer started to defrost.

Shakopee is the closest Home Depot Store, but I shop at them all even when I travel. Today I needed leaf bags. The local hardware store was sold out. Your competitor with the blue sign is 4 miles away. I went there and they were sold out. I want to buy a new snow blower Ariens Deluxe 24 so I checked them out. After waiting 15 minutes next to the snow blower I left because no one helped me. I drove another 4 miles farther to the Shakopee Home Depot store. Julie the cashier saw that I needed help and told me where the leaf bags were. I found them next to the snow blowers. Mary in that dept. was very knowledgeable about the snow blowers but no Deluxe 24. You had 2 Ariens Deluxe 28. Mary went online right away and gave me options how to buy the Deluxe 24. I will always drive the additional miles past the other stores because of the staff at Home Depot. I will buy all my big purchases there too. Your customer service is second to no one.

Great experience renting a trailer to haul 50 bags of mulch and topsoil. I received wonderful customer service from HD employees loading the bags as well as the trailer rental.

I had a positive experience at this location. The associate in plumbing (Scott) was very knowledgeable, helpful & kind. The 2 cashiers were friendly & helpful.

The cashier rang up my 6 #40 bags of Softener salt, loaded them in a cart, pushed the cart to my car in the parking lot and loaded them in my Vehicle. Service doesn't get any better than that! Thank you Home Depot

It doesn't matter what I need - this store's staff can find it, get it and help me get it loaded into my vehicle. I have never been disappointed with the helpful, willing attitude of the staff at Shakopee Home Depot to help me out. It is a treat to have staff wanting to help!!! In addition the store is clean, neat and orderly. The aisles are clear so you move your cart easily.

Just can't get any help. Nobody around. Customer service was non-existent.

The store is always busy, yet employees are always there to assist you in any way.

Particularly today (7/4/19), the customer service in the paint department was amazing! The employee handled several customers at once, answered questions, and had my product ready in a short time.

I went in to buy a new gas water heater, with the brand and model already in mind. One of the great employees brought it out front for me to checkout, applied my Veteran's 10% discount to my purchase and then after the sale, he and another employee even loaded it up in my truck for me! Great Service...Great Employees! Great Store!

I have stated in the survey how pleased we have been each time we shopped at the Shakopee store. We would recommend and return when we need other products to manage our home needs.

Staff are helpful and it's nice to see they can have fun while they work.
