Made 2 trips to the South Hill location while visiting Lake Gaston. The staff is friendly & knowledgeable. The store is very clean & well stocked.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful even though i walked in to find something 10 minutes before closing, i would definitely rather go to this store rather than Colonial Heights Location any time!!!

Great experience getting a refrigerator! Lots of options to select from, less than a month before delivery and that is great during COVID! Matthew assisted us and completed paperwork quickly and explained each step.

Clean store and friendly associates

This store has had everything in stock that we needed to remodel our bathro floor and now we are getting ready to remodel the bedroom floor. The experience was great and most of the employees were awesome and helping out.

It was easy to find the products I needed. The employee who made my key made sure it was as close to the original as possible.

Dont go for lumber without your own help. Be prepared to only be able to get about 10% of what is on shelf that is useable

I love shopping at the South Hill HD. I've shopped at many home improvement stores and never, ever have I been treated as great as I am at this store. The manager and staff are always courteous, kind, helpful, quick and respectful. I moved to the area about 2 1/2 years ago and probably make 2 trips a week to this store for home remodeling and home improvement needs so I spend quite a bit of time at this store. I've also placed several special order items, ordered carpet and had it installed, etc. The staff at this store make the trip a pleasant experience every time.

Friendly staff and nice enviroment.

Great Service. Had to order an item over the phone and was not in town. Salesperson completed my order, sent me an email receipt, and had the item pulled and brought to Customer Service for my contractor to come pick up. Customer service the way it should be done!!

This store is a favorite store of mine to shop in.The employees are friendly and helpful and make you feel as though you matter.Store is always very clean and organized.The inventory is extensive and everything is easy to find, and if you can't find something the employees are always eager to help in any way.
