I have never been disappointed when shopping at this Home Depot. The customer service is friendly and all employees are accommodating. If I cannot find a particular product since this store does not carry it an associate is usually knowledgeable about where I can locate it. I like shopping where I can count on pricing too.

V.M., an appliance specialist at my local Home Depot, took extra time to make sure I considered all the options when looking for the right refrigerator for my family. When I shared with her the lower cost at another major appliance distributor for the refrigerator I selected, she immediately went to work to make sure Home Depot matched the lower price and arranged delivery to our home. The gentlemen who delivered our refrigerator were very careful taking out the old refrigerator and bringing in the new one. I had an excellent experience.

Staff are friendly and helpful.

Uneducated employee, kept putting in the wrong info. I have to go another week without an oven because of her incompetence. I even corrected her and she still put in the wrong delivery address. I had to cancel the order and reorder, now I'm over the limit on my credit card. The best was when she tried to blame me for the wrong info even though she was getting the address from my drivers license which was in her hands.

I have been a regular customer of Home Depot for decades and have shopped stores in Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida. My first visit to the South Hill, VA store was a eye-opening surprise and a wonderful treat. The South Hill location is well organized, well stocked, and clean. The employees are very friendly and willing to help, well beyond the experiences that I have had at other locations. I also want to note that the lighting area has the best selection of interior/exterior lighting that I have seen in any other HD store. The variety rivals any of the online specialists that we have shopped. Other home improvement retailers would do themselves a favor by modeling their operations after this particular store. "Keep up the good work Home Depot."

People super friendly and helpful, store very clean and aisles easy to get through very well laid out we came down from Keysville VA about 50 minutes away after verifying by phone that they had the qty and type cabinets we wanted, whole lot better experience than stores closer to us we will be repeat customers

The customer service and product availability is better at the South Hill Home Depot than any other retailer in town. The store is clean, the merchandise is well-stocked and meticulously displayed, and the employees are willing to go out of their way to be friendly and helpful, careful to listen and quick to assist.

One of the best Home Improvement stores I have ever shopped in.

Ms. Cheryrl I believe I spelled her name correctly and Buck, the young lady at costumer service are wonderful and very helpful.

Associates are courteous as well as helpful. Both times that my husband and I had to pick up our purchases, we were assisted by people who care about customer service. We will return for whatever home improvement products we need. Thank you Home Depot!

The employees here are consistently friendly and helpful. When they are talking with each other they readily interrupt their conversation and turn to help or ask if help is needed to any approaching customer. In too many stores employees are more interested in talking to each other than assisting a customer or don't want to interrupted from their assigned task for fear of supervisor disapproval that they were not doing what was assigned to them. (The "Sorry I cannot help you because I am stocking shelves.") As I said, this store is consistently friendly and helpful.

The store is very nice and stocked very well. The flooring associates are not too anxious to help you and it took forever to pick out what we needed without anyone there to help and show us where to find what we needed.

Whenever we go to Home Depot there is always someone there to direct us to the product we want. Employees seem knowledgeable but, if not, they'll refer us to someone who is an expert! Also, since my husband is former military having served in Vietnam, you always give a discount! How kind of you!!
