Employees were smiling and helpful but someone needs to use spell check!

Kim (store manager) and Cheryl (service desk) were so amazing! They went out of their way to answer questions and help me find the lighting I needed. They did their job with big smile on their face, we’re so personable! Thank you both!

Kat and Kevin in the paint department went the extra mile to make my visit and others smooth and timely, for that, I thank them!

We came in to buy new refrigerator. Karen, the appliance section was incredibly helpful. This was the most pleasant Home Depot experience we’ve ever had.

I called the Home Depot near me this morning to inquire if a product I was looking for was in stock. The person at the service desk who took my call, Rick, found the item and had it waiting for me to pickup quickly and professionally.

The employees, even the vendors were very helpful who I encountered. I was very impressed!

I needed assistance at the self checkout which is normally hard to come by . But Robert was at the ready and made everything go smoothly. I'm pretty sure he's not getting paid enough. If more home depot employees were like him then every experience would be just as great!

I couldn't find an employee to help me at 10am on a Sunday morning. I walked from lumber to electrical and waited over 20 minutes to find an employee. I gave up and left disappointed.

Paul in the millwork department was not only knowledge on the product I wanted to buy but he packaged my purchase so that i recieved a substantial discount and it was hard to walk away from. He was just about the most helpful salesperson I have ever met. i am glad I happened upon him and Even though the southington store is not convenient for me, I am going to make it my regular place to shop for my home improvement needs- and this needs never seem to stop.

I love products from Home Depot. And some of the employees are very kind and polite. (Kris) is one employee staff who is so polite, kind znd helpful.

Jeffery made my day when I went to return a prefab shower pan. He gave me so much advice and helped me plan for additional purchases I needed to make for the bathroom renovation.

Customer service was pleasant

I had an issue with a store credit card, and both the cashier and Cindy in Customer Service were fantastic! Issue resolved.

Although there were no one who greeted us when we entered the store, after picking all the items needed, on our way to self-checkout, saw us and provide assistance with the checkout process being so nice to us that we felt welcome again. Thanks Theresa, you rock!!!

We have been frequently shopping at this store since we purchased our home 3 years ago and always find what we need for home improvement, painting, gardening, ect. Staff is always friendly, greeting us as we walk in and when walking by asks if we need any help.

I wanted to give kudos to someone named Liz in the flooring department. i’m not sure if Liz is a new employee and training, but when she did not know the answer to a question, she made sure to call over someone else in her department to get the answer that I needed. She was extremely kind, helpful, and you can see her will to learn and get the answers, this location is further for me from my house but I would definitely drive there just to get that type of customer service. Thank you, Liz ☺️.

My husband walked in with questions. We walked out with more than answers! Gary B helped in plumbing Kevin went out of his department to help locate an item Stevie did an up sale And Jeremi greeted us at checkout and helped us with a smile. When I asked for a manager, Kris was called and she came right up front and was personable and relatable. Thank you, Southington Home Depot for going above and beyond!!!

The employees were kind and helpful to us

Bought a zero turn lawn mower, but it wasn't easy. Guy behind the counter had an attitude and seem not to care a single bit about my business that day. I had a question about a manufacturer coupon and didn't understand the process. I was told that hey couldn't do anything about it and was dismissed by a "NEXT IN LINE". I decided to jump back in line to make the purchase with another employee, which by the way had great customer service skills. Upon almost finishing the order the other employee jumps in and whispers "are you gonna charge him delivery $$" I almost lost it, but my wife held me back and I simply grabbed my receipt and left the store. A couple of days later my lawn gets delivered. It is completely covered in dust, and I was told it will get cleaned up and inspected before delivery. It also arrived with no air in the front tires and a dead battery that took me a while to diagnose because it didn't cross my mind because it was a brand new mower. I had to run back to the store to get a new battery which was an inconvenience. I really don't recommend buying equipment like this from HD, next time I'll go directly to a dealer.

Cashier Kris was very mean and made me uncomfortable.

We needed a special piece of wood cut. Your employee gave us good advice & cut the wood correctly & he was cordial. The 3 other employees we spoke to directed us to other items well, were nice & respectfull.

Employees are always friendly and welcoming as well as being as being as helpful as possible. They Also know who to pass off A customer too in order to get the best possible answer. And are always welcoming of my pet she loves the place
