I received great customer service at this store. They were willing to work with me on a price adjustment without any hesitation. I intend to make this my home improvement store of choice from now on!

I visited Home Depot on Southport Rd, twice in the same day and both times the employees were very nice and helpful. One went out of his way/department to help me and the other seemed to actually want to work. She was friendly, knowledgeable, knew the computer program very well. She was pleasant and I hope to see her on my next visit.

Everyone was extremely polite and eager to help. Associates in Doors and windows section were very knowledgeable and insisted on customizing My door trim.

Bought a large 12 drawer tool chest at the best price. Customer Service was excellent. Especially Carli. Cashier was fast and helpful.

I was undecided about purchasing a refrigerator from Home Depot. But after being assisted by Ashley, I knew I was making the right decision. Her customer service skills and product knowledge was the best I have received.

I love the Southport location of Home Depot. I wish there were a store in Shelbyville, Indiana, but I will drive to Southport. The employees are very friendly and will help you find what you need.

I run a nonprofit that sometimes needs building materials. I have found that the Home Depot located in the Southport Commons Shopping Center provides first-rate service every single time I have shopped at the store. Today I was shopping for some Veranda Porch Railings. These railings are made from PolyComposite and are extremely durable and easy to install. They look fantastic and are maintenance free. The Home Depot at 4850 E Southport Road, Indianapolis, IN 46237, had the railings in stock and ready for pickup. The staff was extremely friendly and even retrieved a cart for me to maneuver the railing easier than the cart I had picked out. When I arrived at the checkout I realized the railing was longer than I anticipated and the cashier helped me ensure the railing would fit in my vehicle before I left. I highly recommend The Home Depot chain and especially the Southport, Indiana location.

Needed help with paint supplies and checking out. Gentleman in paint center very patient and kind. Kathy at self checkout is amazing and provided much assistance with a genuine smile! Always get smiles and employees asking if we need anything here:)

Best hardware store on this side of town

Bought a tool chest. Tony the Assistant Manager helped us pick the perfect one for us. And Brittany made the check out very easy.

Naomi and Holly were very helpful in assisting me with using my new credit card from Home Depot.

We've shopped at 2 other Home Depot stores in our locale. This Southport store is by far the very best one ... well stocked, friendly knowledgeable personnel, convenient parking.

everyone in this store is so wonderful and go out of their way to help you find exactly what you need or order it for you ...such a difference in other stores.

we purchased a new refrigerator and floor freezer from Dianna at the Southport store, and you should be lucky to have her to assist with your purchase. she took the time to explain not only the features but the details of the warranty.

This store is outstanding due to it's customer service. Employees assist without complaint and a smile. I've visited this store many times and have never had a problem so I highly recommend this Home Depot.

After Home Depot online got my refrigerator order wrong (incorrect door swing), my Southport Home Depot made it right. The online service rep told me it would be almost 2 weeks before a service tech would come to my home to reverse the doors. I told her “That is not acceptable to me. I want to complain! Who do I talk with about getting better customer service?” She then connected me with Joe Mroz, the Store Manager of the Southport Home Depot. Joe apologized for the mistake, and was very positive and reassuring in finding a satisfactory solution. He said if I wanted to hire someone to fix the door swing, he would mark down the price to compensate. He was going on vacation the very next day, but he passed on my information to Assistant Mgr, Gen. She promptly got me a portion of the purchase price refunded, which I thought was very fair, and also great customer service!

Shop here alot. The employees are always friendly and willing to help if they can. Most time if you ask the location of a certain product they dont just tell the location. They drop what they are doing and take you to the location.

My husband and I came in looking for new carpet for our home. We had been to a couple of other places but we were impressed the moment we came in to the Southport Home Depot. We were greeted by Flooring Specialist, Loyola Slagle, with a smile and she gave us the "red carpet treatment" from beginning to end! Thank you, Loyola, YOU ARE AWESOME!!!

I needed to purchase a couple of items and was actually misdirected at first but an Assistant Manager, Frank and an employee, Brian were absolutely WONDERFUL. If it weren’t for these employees, I would never go back I would try to go to a different type store. They were phenomenal in helping me.

The outdoor Garden Center is organized, inviting and easily accessible to nearby parking spaces. Carts are easy to find, products are accessible without reaching, and a friendly cashier is located near the entrance. No need to push heavy loads into the store to check out. On 2 visits, staff was friendly and I completed my purchase in less than 15 minutes. An ideal shopping experience~

I needed assistance finding firewood, and I had two store associates patiently help me, as the product was not easily accessible. Checkout was quick and easy, and the cashier was very friendly! This is a clean store, with plenty of employees available to help.
