I had a particularly poor experience in this store. i purchased 10 bags of mulch at the checkout inside the store. I then went to the outside of the store to retrieve this merchandise. I heard an employee yelling something about mulch, but didn't understand the message. shortly after, i located the product that I intended to purchase. I parked next to the mulch and started to load it (as i've done dozens of times before). it was then that i notice a home depot employee walking towards me with another employee. He was smoking a cigarette and yells at me "what part of I don't have any mulch out here to sell; do you not understand?" I explained that I had already purchased the items and produced my receipt for his inspection. He tells me that I can't get that mulch. I would have to go into the store and load the mulch. He said i could ask for help inside. I parked near the entrance to the closed garden center. I had a difficult time explaining to the customer service lady that I was returning mulch I didn't possess. She politely tried to explain to me to just pick it up on the side of the building. She left to sort it out and returned with the aforementioned king of the garden center. He had apparently completed his smoke by then. He gave an excuse about the drive through not being opened. He was also quick to remind me that he didn't approve of where I left my truck while I was in the store. I left a survey describing these events. That survey fell on deaf ears.
