The store was open late past 8:00 at night, which helped me with getting needed supplies, the store was very friendly and helpful.

I visited the store at 8 pm this evening, and even though it was late, cashier Leanne was a delight. Not only did she have the same confidence and down-to-earth quality as Paul Rudd eating a delicious hot wing on Youtube's Hot Ones, but there was an aura around her that left me feeling refreshed and elated. I sincerely wish that my mediocre everyday life was as exciting as this shopping trip was to my local Home Depot. Leanne is a national treasure. Praise her, never lose her, cherish her. I would also like to say that there was a very diligent and knowledgeable gentleman working in the cleaning supplies/chainsaw section during my visit (8 pm on April 20th) that knew exactly where to take me to find my hair catcher for my shower. He was wonderful and carried with him a nifty handheld fan. 10 out of 10. I wish I knew his name.

I have relied on this store for 18 years. Until this incident I had found the floor people pleasant, competent and professional and the products consistently satisfactory.

The store and its employees were observant of COVID protection guidelines.

If it wasn't for an assistant manager named Mary and an associate named Carrie I would not be able to have the tile I wanted in time for my contractor to come and put the tile in.

We went to Home Depot for window treatments, they were running 20% off blinds. Eloise was very helpful, she showed us the books of samples, explained the different kinds of blinds and when we were ready helped us to enter our order. We got two different kinds, some with light blocking for the BR, some 3 on one for the living area, some cordless, some corded, she spent a long time with us helping to get each one carefully entered. Home Depot had a nice selection of blinds, lots of finishes to choose from, lots of different materials and they were easy to figure out once Eloise explained them. I appreciate her patience with us, it would have been impossible to make our choices on line with all the different features. Home Depot East is a great location. There are always plenty of associates and they are friendly and willing to help. I prefer to shop here than their competitor where I can never find an associate when I have a question and they are way less friendly. We are also looking for some lighting, and the selection at Home Depot had a nice variety of choices and the prices were very reasonable. They also have an excellent lawn and garden center in the Spring/Summer, I am excited to return when the snow is gone. Its also pretty cool that they let you bring your dog, while I never have, it looks like it would be fun.

Madison east Home Depot is my favorite store for home improvement projects. The employees are always helpful and creative in helping me figure out a solution when things don’t work as expected. The store typically has plenty of product available.

If you are worried about safety around Covid, do not shop at this store. There are so many customers who do not wear masks and the store does not enforce the mask requirement, even though it’s a statewide mandate. I won’t ever be going back.

The store is well organized and generally offers a variety of products for whatever your project. The staff are knowledgeable on a variety of subjects and friendly. We purchased custom garage doors. We were helped by Jim (JNB4X7) and he did a great job of explaining the different products and features and helping us make an informed deduction on greeting the best product for our application.

Had returned a toilet and purchased a different brand. Just applied for credit card and wasn't sure how to enter to get a discounted price. Judy hadled the situation and was finished with the transaction in minutes. Impressive

Such a friendly staff everytime I gonin there. Got to work with Carrie in flooring today can't wait for my next home depot experience! I hope itbis just as exciting and pleasant.

The HD Madison store was extremely helpful in locating a tool I needed for a job constructing custom shelving and cabinets. I don't live in the Madison area but located the tool I needed at this store. The two people that assisted me were extremely helpful and more that willing to take the time to help me purchase this tool (P318 Ryobi) over the phone and hold it for a friend to pick up. Thanks to both of you.

These are difficult times for buyers, but Claudia and other employees made our transaction as easy as possible. Their helpfulness, efficiency, and kindness made the experience not only less stressful, but absolutely pleasant.

WE HAVE SHOPPED AT OTHER HOME DEPOT STORES IN THE AREA BUT HAVE FOUND THIS STORE TO BE THE ONE WE LIKE TO SHOP AT BEST BECAUSE THE THE KNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF ON THEIR PRODUCTS THAT THEY SELL WHEN I HAVE QUESTIONS.

When I got there I was in a bit of a bind and needed to get some parts. I went and found Mike Keen and boy did he help me out. Was not expecting to spend as much as I did but he showed me the pros and cons of what i was buying and made my woodworking projects that much easier. Great Great employee and super friendly and Knowledgeable to boot. Will shop here from now on and will always hunt him down to help me. Wonderful Experience

Shopping for a power drill. Experienced friendly ,knowledgeable service on 2 trips the last 2 days. Was advised on available discounts and was walked to the service desk to accomplish this and then to the checkout.

I recently visited this store to look into purchases (windows, carpeting, bathroom fixtures, and paint) for a new home I am hoping to close on soon. The staff in these departments were friendly and helpful. They took the time to answer my questions as I am not the most handy person in the world. The staff offered me tips and ideas about my home improvement projects that I hope to be starting soon. I look forward to continuing to this store for my home improvement needs.

The Janesville store did not have the quantity of flooring needed for my project, however, Madison East HD had the quantity required in stock. Wendy in flooring went above and beyond to ensure we were able to find what we needed. Checkout was fast and efficient. Ryan in the parking lot offered and assisted in loading the 19 heavy boxes of flooring material. Went back in to let the manager know how much I appreciated my shopping experience and Johnny, the manager called them out by name with kudos over the radio. Great Store, Great People, Great Experience!
