Our “go to” Home Depot. Such friendly employees. Santee too busy, for us. La Mesa store much more busy and further distance. Love El Cajon store!!

I was on a mission To find a specific shop vac that was online . The young man in customer service went out of his way to do price checking and helped me get out of the store with exactly what I was looking for. Great customer service !!

THE STORE WAS VERY GOOD BETTER THAN MOST

A well run store ,very convenient, checkout goes fast even with the Covid-19 lines and especially with the amount of traffic that comes through its doors. Several of the employees have been at this location as well as the previous location they moved from since the late 80s or early 90s, so I always feel confident when I need something that I will get the best of service here.

Returns here are very easy and the customer service was good. I would of liked more sales associates on the floor as I don’t like having to go hunt them down. That is a direct reflection on store management and not the store employees. Back when Home Depot first came to San Diego they were phenomenal with customer service because there were a lot of employees to help. Please go back to your roots and give us back what made you number 1!

Loved shopping for our Christmas tree at this location. We have purchased our Christmas trees from Home Depots for 25 years due to their convenient locations, good price points, friendly and helpful staff. This year we went the weekend before Thanksgiving to beat the crowds and because we need a little Christmas early this year! This location was wonderful. Larry, Gina and Tony worked at a team to make our tree shopping the joyful experience we had hoped it would be. Great selection of trees too! The tree lot is around the side of store with easy access. So glad they were selling trees before Thanksgiving weekend! Look no further. Bag your tree and start celebrating....like the old song says...”For we need a little Christmas now!”

Great store. Helpful and knowledgeable staff.

My experience last night at Home Depot was excellent. I asked at least 4 different store employees where certain items were located and each of them were cheerful, supportive and even gave me extra information that was helpful about products and how to use them. I did not have to hunt around to find employees. They were on the floor and ready to help. The store had a lively hum to it and everyone was eager to be helpful.

Go to El Cajon store. They have an amazing associate there named Tracy who helps me when I go in to the store.

I do recommend this store, I always find the stuff I need and more the customer service is awesome and employees are friendly and welling to help I was helped by Daisy she was very patent and professional she helped me with getting my store credit card and I got a cash back I would always use to this store

MACAIF, An old man - but he's a professional He is a very respectable man, It actually helped me a lot in plumbing tools for kitchen sink . He is patient, helpful, and courteous. In my opinion, it is a blessing to your company, and it is the reason I buy my goods from Home Depot

I needed replacement parts to connect my toilet tank to the bowl. The only parts on the shelf were for connecting the bowl to the floor. I asked an employee if he might be able to suggest how I could improvise the in absence of exact replacement parts. He said, "let me think how you can improvise." Then he went to another section of the aisle and ripped open a toilet repair kit and handed me the plastic bag with the parts I need. They were an EXACT match for the parts I was replacing. I spent $48 on a bolt cutter and vise grips but felt like I got an unbelievable deal on this trip. I've already told a dozen people about this experience.

Store had everything I was looking for. Cashier Amy was super helpful and fast. Checkout was a breeze!

Great place for shop for home repair goods.

This Home Depot location has very disrespectful store employees. Today marked my second time being disrespected by a store employee here. Both time I was in shock how rude the employee was. Profanity was even used by both employees. I have never experienced such awful customer service and rude human behavior at any other store. I’m in complete shock and feel violated by the employees at this store. Mark was the name of one of the employees in the lumbar department.

WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS STORE. The cashier Darren was extremely rude and among other things forgot to return one of my items even though I asked him TWICE if he had. I will never shop here again and I’m seriously considering going to the other home improvement chain.

Home Depot #1848 in El Cajon, California has created a very positive shopping experience. Employees are most helpful in assisting you with questions about where to find whatever and in assisting you in a particular department in making the best choice or choices for products you are looking for. Pat in the Ceiling Fan and Lighting Department was super helpful in my finding the perfect ceiling fan. Exemplary employee!

Employees very friendly and helpful. Well stocked. Good variety of products. Only issue currently is the aisles are quite cluttered with extra displays in front of the shelves. Makes practicing social distancing very difficult.

This Home Depot is convient and in a Great Location, I enjoy shopping at this Store.

We came in and were directed to a female worker who told me the item I saw on the empty shelf was an online item. After looking for a comparable item in the store A young man named Steph approached us and asked if we needed help. I showed him the same image as the other employee, he said he would look to see if there was any in back, he returned in 2 minutes and assured us there were 2 and would bring one down. He had a great attitude and was willing to help! Thanks Steph!!

Customer service during this time is so important. Although the staff are busier than ever to ensure our safety through these difficult times; this location makes it a point to actually answer the phone and assist with questions, concerns, and in-stock inquiries prior to consumers making a trip to the location in vain. Lines can be long and stressful and this makes it easier/convenient for everyone! (I contacted the 2 nearest locations to best serve our needs; the other location was NOT as helpful/knowledgeable. It took several attempts/transfers to get to an appropriate staff member; hold times were also a little lengthy. Do to this, the choice to shop at the El Cajon location was the best/easiest option!)

I am in here at least once a week, sometimes more. And pretty much every time the employees are helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Keep up the good work
