To Whom It May Concern;, I'm writing to express my deep concerns and unfortunate experience with one of your Home Depot (#4620) establishments. As a veteran and a customer in general I expected to be treated with respect and a satisfying level of customer service. That being said, I recently purchased a washer and dryer set (LG) from your store. Upon delivery of the items, I noticed that the washer delivered wasn't what I ordered. The washer delivered came with an agitator, which I explicitly expressed to the sales rep that my wife and I didn't want. Once I discovered this, I immediately went back to the store (home depot #4620) and made them aware of the mishap. The first manager I came into contact with to handle this matter was Donna. Ms. Donna insisted that it was my fault and really didn't want to hear what I had to say. So after that encounter, I asked for the next level of management. I then spoke with Heather, the assistant store manager. Ms. Heather proceeded to take her ques from Donna and basically told me that I was in the wrong. The young lady that initially took my order (Diane) admitted that she made an error in putting in the code, however both Donna and Heather dismissed this notion and told me it was still my fault. I then contacted LG corporate office to see if anything could be done. After I pointed this out and in the notes of my conversation with LG, they were giving permission for home depot to pick up the washer with the agitator and deliver the one with the impeller. Again no resolution. I called your store again, this time I requested to speak with the store manager (Tonya), who seemed to be unavailable at the time. The only way I was able to get this matter resolved was to agree to pay for another washer (one with the impeller) and then and only then did they agree to deliver the new one and pick up the other. I take no pride in writing this letter, but I am saddened how the lack of customer service can be provided. And to add insult to injury I still haven't been refunded my money for the purchase of the washer with the agitator. I'm sure the founders of Home Depot did not create this chain, with the idea that people would be treated unfairly. This experience, single handedly has me questioning whether to continue shopping at this chain. Please feel free to contact me for further details. Thank you for your time and concern

As a veteran I know the discount HD offers is a privilege not an entitlement, however they seem to apply it arbitrarily. Be forewarned that not everything is eligible, for example a 4x8 sheet of plywood did not qualify but a gallon of paint did. Did get great help from Tiernan in paint and a young man in lumber who cut my wood.

He also showed me how to navigate the Home Depot Site to check to see if items were in stock and what Aisle and Bay they could be found!!! I felt like I was talking to a neighbor!! All employees should make ya feel like that!! I was so impressed I asked to speak to the manager (Tonya) who was probably the nicest Manager I have ever spoken to and she told me today was Bennie's first day on the floor!! I was shocked cause he knew his stuff!! She promised he would be recognized and even have his pic taken for the wall? Not sure what that is but I sure hope he gets the proper kudos cause he was Awesome!! Also our Cashier Kiana was so kind and helped us through Self Checkout by entering hubby's Military id for our discount (Saved $30, woohoooo) and even scanned our items as well!! Kiana had the greatest personality,funny and efficient!!! We checked out so quick which made us happy so we could get home to replace our dishwasher!! Always a project going at our house .lol!! We are doing a home renovation so because of employees like Bennie,Kiana and Tonya who were wonderful and helpful we will keep coming back and give ya our money!!! Thank you Home Depot!!

On Friday, I received a voicemail from the Tuff Shed representative stating they would need to push the delivery date to no sooner than 19 November which I felt was unacceptable. As a store associate, when you decide to approach a customer and get rude, condescending, and argumentative with them on a transaction you aren't even involved in and the customer asks you to get away from them because you approached them and are standing less than two feet from their face the best practice is to get away from them not dig your heels in to prove a point. I came into the store today to get supplies for a project not deal with whatever emotional instability an employee has going on. I didn't give a snot about the discount, the labeling was off, a cashier was already addressing it, and a manager was going to make the decision on it. To the employee who decided fire things up while we were calmly waiting, then ignore personal boundaries, and then run to approach the manager to campaign at him before he got to me: This is why you are not a manager, that was awful customer service, it was terrible interpersonal communication, and toady you were a really poor reflection of the company that employs you. Tone it down. I was more than willing to pay the $60 - I was just confused on the pricing.
