Great experience shopping at this location and everyone was helpful

I have become a regular in the store with my current remodel project. All the associates have been helpful and patient in providing education. Jim at the pro desk and Joseph in lumber stood out as going above and beyond. I wish I could remember everyone's name who has helped me. I find if I am not sure how to do something I can find someone knowledgeable to assist in every department. Thank you Gilroy team - you are the best.

The store was clean but the staff seemed to focus only on one customer at a time instead of telling us the'll be right with us. Very upsetting if you're being ignored.

June 5th I visited the store in gilroy and received very friendly customer service by a young lady. She happened to be sweeping at the time I arrived and quickly dropped what she was doing to assist me.

Helpful employees. Great store moral. Always get the help needed to get in and get out quickly.

I live iin Gilroy for many years and this home depot location has gone through a transformation within last couple of years. Good job! I can see improvements in store cleaningness and organization. There were also many associates available ready,willing and able to assist, the gentlemen that help me in the water heaters isle was very helpful, knowlegeable and patient. He helped me to make the right decision to buy the best water heater for my home. I will not be returning to the competitor "L......" down the street, their water heaters are of lower quality and the warranty support experience was terrible. Thank you for replacement of my water heater, I had 3 days taking cold showers. :)

I was pleasantly surprised the last four visits to Home Depot! They have definitely changed in the customer service area. In each row I was looking, an associate approached me and asked me if I needed assistance. In one instance, the associate got on the computer to find a store nearby which had my item. In another instance, they climbed the "ladders" to find my items. Although I detest the new "self check outs"- when I approached with my larger items, there was an associate that scanned them and I was out of the store in 30 seconds. The store was clean. Well stocked. Greater emphasis on customer service that I recall from past visits. I had quit going to this store a couple of years ago -switching to the other DIY store that starts with an L. I now go here first since my last few months of visits have been outstanding.

This is the second time I've ordered some garden 8ft borders from the Gilroy store. Both times, I was notified they were ready for pickup and both times when I arrived at the store the order was no where to be found. The store associates had no idea what to do, or where to find the order. The blank looks on the associates faces told me that their on-line ordering is something that they have not quite gotten all the kinks worked out of the process. Good idea, however, the staff needs to get some more training on the process for it to work properly and smoothly. Both times I had to physically go over with the staff to load the items I had ordered after they gave up looking for my on-line order. It would have been faster for me to just go to the store load them myself, and checkout without the half hour wait while the staff ran around the store trying to find the order. I was thinking that it may be a size/quantity issue, having to load the posts and store them somewhere until I can come by to pick them up, however, I remember I ordered something smaller a while back and when I arrived at the store no one knew where that order was either. I had to physically go to the shelf and get one myself to fulfill my order. So, I don't think it's a size/quantity issue, I think it's a process issue (or lack thereof) at the HD. Unfortunately, the on-line order, pick up at the store has been nothing but a time sink, it's just easier to go and buy what you want at the store and forget the buy in advance option.

I enjoy this store because the associates are eager to help and are knowledgeable.

Our cashier Juan made shopping at Home depot very pleasant. He help us save money and their were 3 other cashiers a viable and no one in line he asked us if we need help we said sure. He told the other cashier he was going to help us load our car. He told us he likes to keep busy. Kudos to Juan for all his help.

I've shopped at Home Depot many times, and it has almost always had what I needed, within reason.

I go to Home Depot 3 to 4 times per week. The Gilroy Home Depot is outstanding in every respect ! The employees are super friendly, very helpful and almost always, have a smile on their faces. It's like they enjoy their work. The store has everything I need and it's always easy to find. It is a pleasure to go shopping there. Thanks Home Depot !
