Austin took 10 minutes and unclogged an elastic exercise band from my 25 year old Miele vacuum hose using a variety of plumbing fishers. He saved me $100 from having to buy a new hose. He was so patient and thoughtful.

I went in wanting to build a jump rope rack. From the time I entered the building to the time I left, everyone was extremely nice and helpful!! Will from the plumbing department is the best!! He helped me build exactly what I wanted!!

We purchased a hot water tank online and had it delivered. My husband turned off the water and removed the old hot water tank. When he opened the box with the new hot water tank we found it was significantly damaged in several places. We called the store and spoke with the store manager Alex. Within an hour Alex was with our house with a replacement hot water tank that he had to get from another store as his store was out of stock.

I have used Home Depots all over the country...A am the #1 Real Estate Agent in my Home Town of Lake Zurich..I am always buying boxes, tape and supplies for customers here....but I have shopped in Golden Colorado, Austin Texas and Lake Zurich IL...Great Employees and I like the fact that the stores are laid out the same where ever I go so I know in Isle 44 I'll find the moving supplies just saying

On a positive note, I was blessed to run into an employee who wanted to help me. Emmers walked me from aisle to aisle to various departments in order to assist me. Unfortunately, customer service has declined as of late, but not here. I am grateful that Emmers stuck with me through multiple questions and concerns even after he was off the clock. No hand off to another employee, he stayed and helped me out. Rare find for which I am grateful. Recognize this outstanding employee as well as Dan who helped me at the self-check out. Good job Home Depot.

My wife and I have an extremely easy and successful experience purchasing our GE microwave from Pat Hattula, Appliance Specialist, at Home Depot!

I WAS BUYING A NEW CHAIN SAW FOR MY SON-IN-LAW'S BIRTHDAY. WE HAD "SHOPPED" BEFOREHAND WITH A TRIP TO HOME DEPOT AND ONE OTHER STORE, PLUS DONE SOME ON-LINE CHECKING. OBVIOUSLY, WE OPTED FOR HOME DEPOT, BUT FELT BETTER FOR DOING THE COMPARISONS. STORE ASSOCIATES WERE SO VERY HELPFUL - WITH RECOMMENDATIONS, ASSISTANCE GETTING THE DESIRED CHAIN SAW FROM THE LOCKED CASE, ESCORTING US TO CHECKOUT.

Shannon at returns called me a liar to my face for returning a hose that had clearly already been returned and not checked. It was damaged and was not the hose that was indicated on the box. She said I was trying to return something I had not bought and not purchased even though I had a receipt from less than a month ago....in january....

All employees at this store provide excellent service.Marco,Greg,Jessica,Rich,Sean,Alex,Mariola.This store is located couple miles more far than Palatine location but provides way better service.They are friendly,efficient and don't try to load damaged materials on my truck or trailer

In late October, we ordered flooring and requested it be delivered and installed by Thanksgiving. Mike in Flooring went above and beyond to make sure our order was ordered, filled and installed within ten days. Excellent customer service and follow up!

Jerry, from appliances, was particularly helpful, patient and knowledgeable. I will continue to come to this location for all my future home purchases.

This location has always been very helpful. As a senior citizen, I appreciate the assistance and the offers to not just tell me where a product is but to actually walk me to the proper location and ask if additional assistance is needed.

NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES PEOPLE MENTION TO THE STORE MANAGEMENT, THEY DO NOT CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS. IS IT REALLY THAT HARD TO ENFORCE THE MASK MANDATE OF YOUR EMPLOYEES??

I have been a DIYer with little or no knowledge about how to perform most my projects. I have found the associates to be very knowledgeable, courteous and patient. I am a Home Depot lifer.
