Brian was great and helped us with a question about our recently purchased washing machine. Even though we couldn’t get the markdown we wanted due to certain circumstances, he was very empathetic and helped us out as much as he could.

The store associates were not very helpful and they are always out of bags at the register

Went to the store used the app on my phone to find my product and it allowed me to see the reviews on the product as well as where it was located in the store. A clerk assisted me with my product and also gave me some very helpful ideas on the installation. Good Job Home Depot.

The in-store associates were friendly and helpful, checkout was the usual nightmare. I first went the the stations closest to the paint department, where there was a line and SIX associates, not one of whom were serving a customer. The utter disdain for customers was further evidenced by one of the noticing that I was counting them, and took no action.

Everyone is friendly and helpful and stire always has everything i need. Always clean and well stocked shelves. I will always go back to this store

Great Products and Prices - Poor Customer Service Most of the Time not all of the time but enough times that a lot of people comment on the type of service they receive at Home Depot. - Store is always clean. - Short on staff - I always compliment a employee who is helpful and wanting to help and doing a good job because it is rare.

I shop the Seaside store when I'm able because I think it's far superior to the Salinas outlet. IMO, the employees in the Salinas location are overwhelmed by the business at that store. A huge number of contractors, all parked right in front of the main entrance. Long, long lines that seem to move ever so slowly, the cashiers seem to be doing the best they can though. It's just an incredibly busy place which makes it difficult to find anybody who can help you if you don't know where to look, or have a question about a DIY project. The Salinas store caters to the contractor, and really, I don't care about that, but I won't shop at that particular store. I am not slighting the employees, they seem to be doing the best in the situation they're in. I've never encountered a rude employee at either store. Both stores, Salinas and Seaside, are I guess, well organized, and clean as well. Seaside store employees are very helpful, very friendly, quick to find parts/supplies you need, and have a very good working knowledge of where everything is in the stores.

The employees in the plumbing department are very knowledgable and helpful.

Very convenient location for the entire Monterey Peninsula. Generally has pretty good stock. Few associates are available during rush times -- plan your visit outside of those hours (no weekends or early mornings!) if you need assistance. Some associates are almost comically inept, however a number of associates, particularly in plumbing, electrical and building materials are among the best I have ever encountered across many Home Depot stores.

Great store. Lumber guy was super helpful to mark lumber as discounted (slightly damaged), and to help with other lumber. Checkout went fast and the person recommended renting their truck to deliver my large load of wood. The truck rental was fast and easy - $19 to get it all to my house and back to HD on time. I will do it again.

I enjoy the fact that this store is so close to my home. If I require an item, I can go purchase and return home to continue my project. Prices are generally lower than other stores carrying the same items. Have been a Home Depot customer since they established themselves in California... a long time ago!

The gentlemen at the paint department (Sam in particular) are very helpful and patient to answer all your questions, and really work at trying to get you that perfect color! They will work on it until it happens! Very thankful for that. No one likes buying a wrong color!! I felt as if he really was concerned I was happy before I left the store. :)

Everyone is nice and friendly and this store always has what I'm looking for. Also a great garden dept.

Home Depot in Seaside has all my needs for projects around the house and garden. They have a very good return policy if my purchase isn't correct when I get home. The staff is knowledgeable and always directs me to the area I need or they escort me to find the items I am looking for. I highly recommend this Home Depot. You can tell it is preferred by so many because the parking lot is always full. I imagine contractors agree this is a "one stop shop" for their needs as well. I've never had a problem parking or checking out. For these reasons, I always shop at Home Depot first for my home project needs.

Only a handful of staff are knowledgeable and help. The rest should be fired! The store is disorganised and needs a major overhaul.

If You Would Carry DAWN DISHWASHING LIQUID in the ONE GALLON or 5 Gallon Size but at a Lower Price than SMART & FINAL. I use it for MY WINDOW CLEANING business and Look for the Gallon Size. If You start stocking up the Gallon Size I'll buy From You instead of SMART And FINAL so I dont have to wait in a VERY LONG lines at Checkout like I do all the time there. I just Purchased an Extension Ladder and Picked up There. Con: The EMPLOYEES Dont always Know where Items are?

Save your time, go somewhere where they will wait on you and know what they are talking about.

I have been shopping at the Seaside store since its opening. The number of SKU has diminished each year. Higher grades of woods are no longer carried. Frequently items are out of stock and I must schedule an additional trip to the store to buy an item. The tool department needs to be expanded.

Always a pleasure coming to this store and being properly treated.

Heidi in the garden department went out of her way to help us locate a particular product. We would have never found it without her effort to locate it for us. We've had some very helpful and pleasant employees answer our questions! Many positive experiences, also, in the paint dept. and the plumbing dept.

I love this store. The aisles are wide, more roomy than some others I have shopped at. There are a couple of associates that really know their stuff and have made helpful suggestions on my projects. The tool rentals are great too. Home Depot is my first (and usually only) stop.

So I went to the seaside home depot to find a simple item like pensils and nobody that worked their seemd to know what i was looking for or just didn't want to take the time to help. then I was on my way out (without my item) and Victoria asked if she could help me and she directed me to the pensils, and was very helpful and friendly if it wasn't for her I would have just walked out and went to orchard.she mentioned the survey and I usually don't do these things but since she was such a great help i just had to.. Thank you Victoria for helping me fimd such a simple item that no one else could find
