Sean M helped us tonight by finding some unusual items and being extremely helpful and polite. He then checked us out as the cashier was busy helping another customer. Awesome employee! Another fellow working near paint noticed I was looking through paint colors and asked if he could help. I had already asked Matt if he could find my previous order, but it had been too long ago. This other fellow suggested that I bring in a paint chip since I couldn't remember the name of my paint so they could match the color! Great suggestion I hadn't thought of! Thanks, guys! Very helpful and nice employees!

In-line waiting forever to get cashier to take my money to purchase something when the employee is talking to another employee about a customer... Bad mouthing the customer saying extremely rude things. Worst customer service I have ever experienced

Denise and Diane were extremely helpful and really backed up their products. They went out of their way to help !

About 2:00pm on a Friday there were more cashiers than people to help in the store aisles. The one person that was called to help me had to call someone else to help us. We walked all the way to the other end of the store and found no other salespeople.

The staff was most helpful and friendly in helping me with my purchase of the washing machine.

Dan and the cashier I used were very friendly, knowledgeable and patient. Staff here appear to genuine enjoy their job, helping customers and interacting with people! Store is very organized and neat!

I got off of work and our dryer was broken I had to get the kids(2&4) ready while my husband rushed off to work. I was nervous about making such a big purchase without my husband and worried the kids would start getting antsy. Maria D'Amore asked me if I needed help immediate when she saw me by the washers. She helped me pick out everything and even a few other things I needed all in less than an hour. My phone was dead so she let the kids watch mickey on hers and gave them water and crayons so they were distracted. I was so worried I would not be able to get the dryer we needed let alone the other things on my wishlist but she was patient and made me feel like she truly cared about what was best for me and the kids so it was effortless. I am truly grateful that she loves her job and was able to make this day so much better.

I went into the store badly misguided about a problem I was having. A Home Depot employee named Scott very patiently educated me on much better options and I came out of the store one happy shopper; saving money, and accomplishing my home improvement goal in a much more efficient manner.

Whenever I have needed help they always appear very friendly and if they do not know the answer they find someone who does. Deidra - one of the store managers - is awesome to deal with & goes out of her way to help you get the products you need and does very well working with the other employees & helping teach them as she helps if needed.

I had a great shopping expieriance at Home Depot! I will continue shopping here due to the employees exceptional service.

I went to the South Elgin store to look at ceiling fans. The associate immediately asked if they could help me find something. When I said I was looking for ceiling fans, the associate took over to the electrical area where the fans were located. When I was looking at the fans the associate asked if they could answer any questions. The associate was very helpful and seemed to go out of their way to help me.

Associates unable to provide meaningful help in locating Terro Ant Dust. Purchased at Ace Hardware instead. Other items found OK.

We've been shopping at Home Depot store #6923 for about 12 years and have never had a problem. We always find what we need, the employees are always friendly and the store is always immaculate. Because we are so happy with our local Home Depot we chose Home Depot to install our new carpeting and we are also purchasing Behr paint there as we go along and paint the entire interior of our home. A wonderful product! We scheduled a measurement online by filling out the simple form. The Home Depot employee showed up on that day and right on time. He introduced himself and was pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. The measuring was a breeze! We allowed photos to be taken of the rooms to be carpeted. Our carpet arrived at the store a few days later and we received a phone call to set up our installation date. We picked up a fully detailed print-out of cost breakdown, measurements .... where the seams will be etc...Everything was detailed so we didn't have any questions. Home Depot is very thorough. Our new carpeting will be installed May 20, 2016. If that goes as smoothly as things have so far, the experience will be A+ and we will then have Home Depot install the carpeting in our other 2 rooms. Keep up the great work #6923. Thank You!

I was very happy with the help I received from the one employee that noticed that I needed help! Many of the employees were either stocking products, talking or just staring, while I wondered around the store. Employees here are more availablel on the weekends.

Sean came to assist us with a John Deere. He typically doesn't work in that area but was more than willing to accommodate us and answer all of our questions. We also further complicated things by needing to order items that were online only AND we didn't have our Home Depot credit card with us. It was important to combine the order for us to receive the 24 months 0% financing. Sean went out of his way to help us to combine these orders, order us a new credit, and work with customer service to guarantee us the financing once we received out new credit card. We are so appreciative of his efforts, especially since this took almost two hours!

If you need to order flooring or blinds from the South Elgin store see Joanne, she is the best. Very knowledgeable and helpful.

Aftrer a grueling experience trying to get laminate flooring in my home from other competitors i decided to try Home Depot and I am so glad that I did. From the time we met with Customer Service in the flooring department it became quite apparant that not only was the customer service outstanding, but the knowledge, follow-up and concern was genuine. I am so happy that I decided to check out and purchase my flooring from Home Depot!

This South Elgin, IL store has to be the greatest group of Home Depot workers I have ever experienced. I've lived in Schaumburg, Chicago, and Champaign and have never been happier with my multiple visits to Home Depot. In the past several months I have visited this store countless times. Every single experience I have had has been friendly and extremely helpful. As a single mom and having little training in home repairs and projects, these team members have always lead me in a positive direction. They have answered my numerous and exhausting questions as I obsessed over every detail and possibility. Never have I ever felt like I was a burden, when perhaps maybe I was :). The amount of professionalism and friendliness makes me a loyal customer and relieves lots of stress. Recently these sentiments were most validated when I called the store to triple check whether the wood I bought for our home garden was weathered or not. The associate checked the numbers over the phone for multiple items. Wow!
