Each leg can be adjusted individually to compensate for un-even worksite terrain. The Speedhorse XT is the ultimate upgrade for your job site, workspace, garage, or workshop!

A:  Actually Rick they do sell them as a pair for $199 and every application is different so occasionally you might need a third one for stability creating a long work table

Sturdy Top but Legs are Fragile
These sawhorses sell you on the sturdy top but the legs are toothpicks. Overbuilt tops and underbuilt legs. At 18 pounds per saw horse the legs should be at least sturdy. See pic of bent leg. I contacted Bora - no response - they must get this issue alot - back to wooden saw horses. You can do much better.

I love these saw horses. They are sturdy and take a beating. I bump into them all the time and they never fall over. I have used it as a base for a table and I've used to cut, stain and sand wood for my porch signs. It has adjustable legs that actually stay put. It also has anti slip on the horses that help keep your material stay put. On the side it has notches where you can place your wood or whatever material you are using. So at times I will place a blanket over the horses to protect the material. I highly recommend!

Heavy but that makes it stable. Each one weighs 18 lbs but fairly easy to handle with one hand. Very easy to setup and the adjustable working height is great for my back. The leg extensions slide out very easily and inch markings make it easy to get them evenly extended. The non-skid pad on top of the beam is very course and keeps the wood from sliding with the slightest down pressure though it was easily scarred when cutting a fallen branch with my reciprocating saw. The instructions are all pictures but it is fairly simple. Pay attention when folding as it must be done correctly. I found the horses easier to fold it up if I stood the beam on one end and released the lock The leg almost closed itself but I did push the first leg in fully to make sure it clicked on the latch before closing the second leg. Retracting the extensions is easy with the lever on each segment but they MUST be back at 0” or the legs will not close. I jammed the second leg because one side extended ‘accidentally’. Folding them up makes them easy to transport and store between jobs. I like these saw horses very much and would recommend them highly.

I am really happy with these BORA Speed Horse XT Steel Sawhorses. I have been using some old homemade traditional 2x4 sawhorses for a long time and finally decided to step up to something better. These are solidly built and work great. They are super easy to fold up and they “deploy” with one hand. Two of these allow me to set up a strong workbench in a matter of minutes anytime and anywhere even on a slightly unleveled surface. They are incredibly sturdy. With just a couple 2x4's and a sheet of plywood you can make a pair of these into an easy to stow away assembly table; I am impressed with the thought put into the brackets that make this possible. And, since I am always cramped for space, I like the fact that these BORA Sawhorses fold quite small for storage. My only disappointment is that the legs have to be set at the shortest position before folding; I am tall and usually extend the legs to make the work surface taller and I always forget to return the legs to the shortest setting before folding. I feel like these sawhorses will last longer than I will. The ease of use, storage size and the ability to make a quick and functional assembly table with them really makes them well worth the price.

I've survived for years with those sawhorse brackets that you add two by fours too and honestly they were fine. But when you move up to a set of steel horses that are rock solid it just makes doing a job a lot more efficient and pleasurable. First difference between these standard horses is the width - you can easily toss a full width sheet of plywood over these with two by four stretchers and have a massive worktable. The second obvious difference is that these fold for easy storage and transport - carry to where you need them with the handholds cut out of the sides and hold the horse up in the air and pull up with one finger on the release button and the legs are down and set in about a half a second. And when you want to put the horse away flip it upside down and pull the end paddle and each set of legs will drop down by itself (use your free hand to hold the leg - they can drop FAST). The horses have a non slip tape applied to the top so material won't slide around on you. There are holes in the top that would allow you to screw a sacrificial piece of wood on from underneath so you could cut or drill directly on the horse without your blade or bit hitting metal. The end brackets let you run two by fours as cross supports, and you can also put one by material in the end bracket vertically as a stop - holes are provided in each in case you want to screw the wood in place. One of the other things I love about these is the variable height - use them in the tall setting and put your chopsaw on so you don't have to bend. Use them in the lower position when assembling cabinets or working on large pieces so you aren't over reaching. These are just well thought out and designed horses.

First off you take these out of the box, no assembly required, pull the release up one minor shake and the legs snap down and in place. They fold up and extend out locking in place fairly easy. My old ones were collapsible metal as well that had gripping teeth that dug into a 2x4. This is quite a leap forward. The legs are easily adjusted from 30” to 36” in 1” increments. Each leg is individually adjustable so if you are on uneven ground you can compensate. However, if you extend them you will need to contract them back up to fold the legs back in. I have also had to manually press the legs cross joint before the legs contract which pinched my fingers pretty good the first time. They are sturdy but do have a slight length wiggle (not an issue) but as soon as you place wood across them, they are that much more stable. The cross beams are 3“ wide and have grip pads on top that does provide enough grip to prevent basic sliding. You still need to clamp anything you need held in place to work on. They have slots at each end for 2x4/2x3s which can create even more stability. The enclosed illustrations show its’ value as a table as well to just lay a plywood sheet down. I’m just not sure of any other added benefit these slots have but it’s a nice add on. These are definitely built to last, they are strong and sturdy, which means they have some weight to them (approx. 46 lbs). Not much more is needed to make a good sawhorse, my initial assessment is these are a good (but not “perfect” so not 5 star) pair of sawhorses, as long as they last.

I like the concept of these but the execution isn't all there. I hate to write a critical review but there are major flaws in these that can't be ignored. I'll start with the positives and end with the negatives. Positives: I like how these are adjustable in height because obviously not everyone is the same height and it makes a difference, and you might be using a stationary tool (i.e. miter saw) and want the legs shorter, or want to adjust it higher to work on a flat surface without bending over. I like the grip tape and the slots cut for 2x4's. the color and finish is nice and they seem sturdy overall, made of strong enough steel to be sturdy and rigid but without being too weighty. They fold up into basically a squared tube and can be transported easily. I don't remember the weight rating on these but as long as you aren't using them to disassemble truck motors on you probably should be good for general home use. Negatives: One of these came bent from the factory. This same one the legs on one side don't lock in the "deployed" position and it can simply fold in and fall over if it were bumped. Not something I'd care to have happen in the middle of work especially with thousands of dollars of tools on top. Both of them the legs are extremely hard to lock in place in the "stowed" position and sometimes simply don't. The idea of these is to be quick but if I'm trying to mess with it for even ten seconds to get it right (if even at all) then the cheap plastic folding sawhorses will beat it in speed every time. Also the leg height adjustments are too quick and there is no stop at the end, if you push it too forcefully it just comes off and you have to put it back on. Again, good features but not executed as well as it could have been.

Excellent horses very easy to setup and use, adjustable legs. They are quite heavy, but very rugged. They can be used for table work or as staging. The legs are adjustable if you are on a rough are you can extends 1 or more legs. They fold up and lock in place for easy storage. Very easy to take with you in car or truck. They should hold lots of weight. They are very well made.

About the Speed Horse XT. These are by far the best and easiest to set up saw horses I have ever used, from the ones my dad (construction company owner) built to cheap plastic ones and everything in between. The hardest part of getting them unpacked ad set up was lifting one of them up enough to get the legs to drop! I'm 5 ft. tall and these are not light weight, once I had it up off the floor, dropping the legs was a breeze. One touch and they were down and ready to adjust the height. The lever action for the height adjustment works so smoothly it was no problem to get the height set right for my first project. I have so many uses for them inside they may not get outside use until spring.

High Quality and so easy to use. I am thoroughly impressed with this Bora product. With a quick click of a button, the speed horse ejects the legs and I am ready to go. The height is adjustable. These horses are of medium weight and are very sturdy. They can also be turned into a table by adding 2x4s and a piece of plywood. These Bora Speed Horses are game changers. They replace a couple of off brand plastic horses I had previously used. The right tools for the right job.
