I have installed blinds in a dozen or more homes and many styles and sizes. The installation design on these paricular blinds is horrible. A 2 hour job to install 6 blinds took 4-5 hours. The "clip" that goes on the wall does not easily go onto the blind. I almost destroyed one blind and was very close to returning all of them.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by Bobby STAY AWAY if you're planning to install in-frame
Impossible to install if you're doing in-frame mounting. The way the brackets are engineered does not allow for easy installation if you are mounting the blinds in a frame that is more than 1 inch deep. There is not enough clearance between the top hook of the mounting bracket and the frame for you to snap the blinds in place. The manual gives instructions for in-frame mounting, but don't be fooled - it is impossible unless you are mounting at the edge of the frame, which looks terrible if the frame is more than an inch or two deep. If you're mounting outside the frame you'll probably be ok.
I bought another brand's blinds and they worked fine. Their engineers had the foresight to have you mount the headpiece bottom to top rather than top to bottom, as is the case with these Bali blinds.

Bali is going to hidden installation brackets. These are a huge pain to install compared to the outside box brackets. The instructions in the box are terrible. If you go to their website and look at their instructions they are different then what came in the box. The box instructions are junk. They tell you "Step 8 install blind". What they don't tell you is to install the front section first and then bend it down to the clip bracket. If you don't do it right the first time, you will bend the cheap metal and have to get a hook to bend it back so you can have a second chance to get the top on the clip. I ended up bending the top bracket clip down so I had more room to get the top in before trying to get the bottom. I will not be buying these again. If they weren't custom cut I would have taken them back and got something different. By the time you are done messing with the bracket, the front of the blind has been distorted and no longer is straight.

Product was very hard to install because the fastener was too complicated, flimsy and to easy to bend. The instructions for the final and most important step for installation were so bad I went back to my friendly Home Depot store and the salesman had to show me how to install the product. He said it happens all the time that a customer has to come back because of the poorly written instructions

Rated 5 out of 5Â by ArmDK Good design without the top slat needed.
Good design without the top slat needed. One of three blinds had one slat that was bent.
