          Waste of money
1 month after the regular warranty expired, the floor drawer disintegrated. Neither the manufacturer, Home Depot nor the extended warranty that Home Depot sold me were willing or able to repair it. Nice while it lasted but didn’t last long. Home Depot extended warranties are useless.

Worrisome from a safety point of view
This grill gets too hot on the outer components which causes burns. You cannot set ANYTHING metal or glass on the side arms because they get so hot you have to have a pot holder to pick them up or to touch ANY part of the grill. You cannot turn the gas off until the grill has completely cooled. I never, ever experienced this with any other grill I have owned. I will be looking for a new grill. This is the first and only summer that this grill will be used. It is just a major burn hazard.

              Changing the way I grill
The name speaks for itself the flavor Pro Grill has made me. An occasional griller into an enthusiast again.Being able to use gas, charcoal, wood chunks, and logs has created such a creativity in my grilling. I wanted to wait to review this grill until I had a good variety cooks. I've cooked chicken, seafood, burgers, dogs, and steaks with great results and flavor. As with any grill you have to learn it. Know it's do and don'ts. Having the convince of multi fuel has come handy too. Son in law brought over ribs that he had made on his pellet smoker but didn't have time for high temp end. I heated up my flavor pro with just gas and gave them a good sear and basting turned out great . To clean out ash from charcoal and wood I use shop vac with a bag the next day. Ps: This is my first review of something.

You Get What You PayFor(Spend a little More and Be Happier)
I wanted to wait until I had a several months of use under my belt in order to leave a more accurate review. Let me start by saying, if you're looking for the convenience of a gas grill combined with a set it and forget it option for long cooks, look elsewhere because the lid is full of holes so it doesn't retain heat well. Pros: The value at this price range will be hard to match. For the most part, the features work well together, the flavor drawer is the enticing component, the adjustable vents up top look cool, and quality of the grates is arguably the best part. The other very nice upgrade from the charcoal world is it heats up to 500 in 5-10 minute range. The convenience of the flavor drawer has facilitated regular addition of wood chunks on every cook. Cons: Two most prominent issues for me are the leak of heat from the lid and the non-functioning wheels. All the holes in the side of the lid(see picture) make the first 3-4 inches of the small side trays off limits. Not a deal breaker by any means but burning yourself will happen at some point and its because of a design flaw. The tray in the back is a little challenging to clean out, with coals and other residue, and debris from cooks end up falling into the storage compartment underneath(See Picture). The reason the tray can be a pain is because the wheels are too small, and with one side fixed it makes moving a pain in the butt(see video). Additionally, the stainless steel on the lid quickly becomes discolored and rusted if you don't stay on top of it with regular cleaning, Another issue but something you easily learn to work around is the uneven cooking surface. Back of the grill cooks substantially hotter then items at the front. None of these items are deal breakers especially for the price but a highly functioning multi-fuel cooker it is not. In retrospect, for me and my varied cooking desires, I probably should have gone a slightly more expensive & diverse pellet cooker like Oklahoma Joe's new smoker.

You Get What You Pay For(3.5 stars)
I wanted to wait until I had a few months of use under my belt in order to leave a more accurate review. Taking in consideration, my viewpoint is from someone with 30 years of experience grilling with a preference on results from long low temp cooks on a smoker. Over the many years, I started on a Weber Genesis grill with a Weber Bullet smoker, and then moved to a Weber Performer Charcoal grill until I got tired of all the work and prep involved with a charcoal grills. This is what led me to this gas grill which will get you close but if you're looking for the convenience of a gas grill combined with a set it and forget it option for long cooks, look elsewhere because the lid is full of holes so it doesn’t retain heat well. During the last few months of regular weekly use, I've cooked everything from ribs to all the most popular meat and vegetables options. Pros: The value at this price range will be hard to match. For the most part, the features work well together, the flavor drawer is the enticing component, the adjustable vents up top look cool, and quality of the grates is arguably the best part. The other very nice upgrade from the charcoal world is it heats up to 500 in 5-10 minute range so, it's great at searing your cook when desired. Being able to use charcoal with wood in the flavor drawer would appear to be a wonderful aspect but the reality of no feature to efficiently and effectively manage the charcoal cleanup will likely keep you from using this option often(see picture). The cooking surface area is quite generous so no problem cooking for small gatherings. The convenience of the flavor drawer has facilitated regular addition of wood chunks on every cook and has become my standard approach. The results are consistently good for any basic cook of chicken breast, pork chops, steak, or vegetables. Bottom line, compared to other options in this price range, this grill offers a set unique features which will be hard to match but you also get what you pay for so there are certainly aspects to consider before pulling the trigger. Cons: Two most prominent issues for me are the leak of heat from the lid and the non-functioning wheels. All the holes in the side of the lid(see picture) make the first 3-4 inches of the small side trays off limits. I've burned myself a couple times now picking up items stored next to the lid. Not a deal breaker by any means but burning yourself will happen at some point and its because of a design flaw. The tray in the back is a little challenging to clean out, with coals and other residue, and debris from cooks end up falling into the storage compartment underneath making a mess on a regular basis(See Picture). The reason the tray can be a pain is because the wheels are too small, and with one side fixed it makes moving a pain in the butt. You end up lifting it side to side to move it anywhere because of the wheels(see video). Additionally, the stainless steel on the lid quickly becomes discolored and if you don't stay on top of it with regular cleaning, it will become a filthy mess and eventually permanently discolored. Pulling out and pushing in the flavor drawer is always a bit clunky but maybe spaying silicone on the rails might help? Another issue but something you easily learn to work around is the uneven cooking surface. Back of the grill cooks substantially hotter then items at the front. This has turned out to be a feature as thinner cuts of meat go to the front thus helping to prevent overcooked items. None of these items are deal breakers especially for the price but a highly functioning multi-fuel cooker it is not. In retrospect, for me and my varied cooking desires, I probably should have not been cheap and gone ahead with a more expensive and diverse pellet cooker like a Grilla or a RecTec .

                    started rusting after third use
I bought this grill replacing a Ducane grill that was 9 years old. I also bought a fitted cover made by chargriller. After the third use i noticed it starting rust just below the lid on the frame, and the stainless steel discolored to the point it cant be cleaned. Seems like they used cheap materials in building of this grill. I doubt this grill will last over two seasons before it rusts out comepletely.

                        Just get it!
I love the versatility of this grill! I was about to get a combo grill with separate gas / charcoal chambers, but this one saves a lot of space and makes it so easy to light your charcoal. If your charcoal burns down and the temperature drops too much, just crank up the gas heat to compensate until you get more charcoal lit! Genius! The first time I lit the grill with gas only, it climbed to 650° in less than 10 minutes. That is insanely fast! I’m not sure what other people are talking about when they say it doesn’t heat up enough. You could easily hit 800° if you add charcoal to that. Just a little bit of lump charcoal and the burners all set on their lowest setting, it maintained 400° no problem. This sucker has plenty of heat! The first thing I cooked were three filet mignon steaks and they came out beautifully! Turn off with gas and briquettes, and a couple of pieces of wood. Once those were lit, I turned off the gas until they burned down and the heat dropped to the point that I then just lit the gas again on low to keep them cooking until done. Love it! Nice smoky flavor, and you don’t have to keep feeding charcoal. The fuel drawer is a little rough sliding out, but grease should help. I also agree with others that all four wheels should swivel. Those are the only two negative things I have noticed so far.

I love what I have been able to cook on this but there are a couple things that just bum me out! The wheels, flavor drawer, and my top rack for some reason won't stay in and it has a crazy tilt.
