Had the same problem as some other reviewers with corrosion. This happened on the inside of the door away from the weather where the panel contacts the outer edges. Occurred on both sides. Problem may actually be expansion of the particle board. I contacted Andersen since the door has a lifetime warranty and it appears they will replace the door through Home Depot. I did have to prove that I owned the house prior to 2009 when the door was manufactured since the warranty is nontransferable and I no longer had the receipt.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Rich Poor quality--Cheap particle board wrapped in cheap vinyl-broke within a month.
This door is proof that the Andersen name does not necessarily mean good quality. This is a particle board door wrapped in cheap vinyl. It has a seem where the bottom window ends and the "solid" plate begins. In my case, this door cracked right on that seem and had to be removed and junked.
Andersen refused to refund the door cost, much less the equal amount I spent to install it, but that is another story. My advice is to buy another brand, spend a little more and make sure that is not cheap particle board encased in cheap vinyl

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BOLOSKY Great features and durable
this storm door is great, easy to install and just serve the purpose I needed especially the screen where you can just slide the glass up to let fresh air in and the customer service at the store was very helpful.Reasonable price too.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Liam Door is corroding.
This door was well worth the money. Easy to install, functional windows. But after about a year, the door started corroding in one spot. Now just 3.5 years old the door is corroding in several spots. Soon there will be a complete hole in the door as the material inside and out is disintegrating. See attached pictures. Very disappointing as I will need to replace the door already.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Tifferina DO NOT BUY THIS DOOR. IT WILL CORRODE!
Please do yourself a favor and do not buy this door! We haven't even had the door for 1.5 years and its already rotting and corroding from the inside out. Buy something else.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Batdad Not weather worthy
Do not purchase if the door will be exposed to direct weather. When the cheap particle board core gets wet it will swell and the door will not close properly , eventually getting to the point it will not close at all.
Likely would be satisfactory on a porch protected door where no rain would hit it.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Mikeeeeeeeeeeeeee JUNK !
I bought and installed 2 doors myself. Installation was easy ! Within couple months both doors started swelling and now corroding !!! I did not expect a lifetime product but 1 year ? I'm more than disappointed in Anderson AGAIN ! I'm not seeking replacements but removing this JUNK from my house. PS no way to rate less than poor, save your money !

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by HandymanAndMore Great door, one major problem.
I buy these doors a lot. I am a general contractor. They are easier than most to install. They look nice. They are comparatively inexpensive and easy to use. The window and screen stay in the door at all times which keeps users from needing to store parts away seasonally. I have two on my own home. However, just recently, on one of our own doors, I noticed there is some lumpiness showing on the bottom panel, outside . It was caused by the fact that the bottom sweep channel holds water from rain and condensation which is absorbed by the wood filler. As the filler expands from the moisture, it shows through the plastic covering. Until the manufacturer remedies this problem, I suggest drilling a few holes in the bottom of the channel to let the water out before it gets to the filler.
