Rated 5.0 out of 5.0Â by AnnandaleHomeDepot Looks good and works well
I've had the microwave for about three months, and have no problems with it. I rely on reviews when I buy things so I'm posting to pay back the favor--I just wanted a microwave that works, and this one does. No issues installing it, no design problems as far as I can tell...I expect a nearly-new microwave to get five stars, excellence is GE's to lose, and this appliance hasn't lost it. Buy with confidence!

It's quiet, it has all the features I need, and it's the perfect compliment to my other stainless appliances.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0Â by Konstantin Outstanding Over the Range Microwave Oven!
This new GE unit replaced my former GE Microwave after almost 14 years of daily hard working service. Both fit and finish are superb. The stainless steel appearance and overall design are pleasing to the eye. This baby gets your food heated up impressively fast. The under unit range top lighting is bright and has a high and low setting. Given the excellent durability of my original GE Microwave Oven, I'm hoping to replicate the experience with my new GE as well. Regarding the Home Depot delivery team - they were on time, polite and efficiently installed my new over the range microwave quickly. Two enthusiastic thumbs-up! Thank you.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0Â by ManlyMan LASTED 2 YEARS, GE WANTED $400 TO REPLACE DOOR, HELLO TO ANOTHER BRAND
It worked well for two years, but is somewhat cheap. The handle is make of plastic made to look like stainless steel, and the handle cracked. The latch on the door then broke also after 2 years. The cheap plastic door mechanism broke on the inside of the door, leaving no option but to replace the door. GE wanted $400 for a new door. I asked them if that was a joke because that is how much a new unit cost. They said no joke here. I will not buy another GE product when the business model is to give you a choice of forced obsolescence or get taken to the cleaners by us(GE), you choose. Why would I ever buy another GE product when that is what they do to there product owners?? Just bought a Kitchen Aid mirowave and will use them as my other GE appliance fail. Goodbye GE!
