Customer Reviews

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 757 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great purchase Great dish washer for the price and would make the purchase all over again. Runs and cleans about the same as the GE we replaced which had most of the same features. This one is a little more energy efficient and runs so quite you have to check to see if it is running. Takes about two hours to run the normal cycle plus the drying time of about 45 minutes. November 25, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst purchase ever The dishwasher never washed a dish. Installation was simple, and that was all that was good about it. First, the plastic door lock would not engage so it wouldn't even try to wash dishes. Had to put a shim between counter and dishwasher. Once that was done it still never worked. It made a few npoises that were scary but I let it run a while. It wouldn't let the water run into the tub - and yes the water was turned on. All it did was spit around the quart or so we put in to get the pump wet. Uninstalled and put back in two more times. Nothing. Called Home Depot - they were fantastic about returning it even though it stated no returns. No hassle at all. Thank you for that. March 25, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Dishes are sparkling! I needed a bisque dishwasher and had a GE before. The inside is more spacious, taller, with the silverware bin on the outside of the dish racks. Dishes load and fit nicely. Putting the spoons, forks in each section is a hassle, so I choose to open the blue top and place them loosely. I only need to run the unit every 2-3 days since there's only two of us. The dishes come out sparkling. The cycles run a lot longer: a normal setting without the heat to dry takes almost 2 hours. The light cycle is shorter, about 1:15. This machine is very quiet, you hardly know it is running. I haven't tried the steam prewash, it is for heavily soiled stuck-on food. July 9, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cool Clean Look and Super Functional the front control dishwasher with steam pre-wash, in the color of my choice (bisque) so it matches the look I want in my kitchen, was delivered timely, it installed easily, works quietly, is easy to use, and is perfect. THANK YOU HOME DEPOT! August 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by First time purchase by internet. Has been a satisfactory purchase I like the style and it washes ok. It seems to take a long time to go thru a cycle. It's been hard to find out just how to run the washer. I am used to a owners manual that tells set different areas of wash. Sure can't complain about the buying and delivery service. That was excellent. Another area of uncertainty is how to load the washer properly. Tried to find something on the internet but didn't find anything satisfactory. July 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GE Dishwasher Front Control w/ Steam Prewash The dishwasher is quiet and washes very well.We like the color and quality. August 19, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible dishwasher I purchased this item and within a year and a half of normal use it would not fill with water while cycling. I went to GE's website and followed all of their troubleshooting solutions and they did not work. I did more research and replaced the water inlet valve, which also did not solve the problem. GE referred me their technician who would come out and fix the issue, for about half of what the unit costs, and would not offer any more insight as to what may cause this issue. I would not recommend anyone purchase this dishwasher, very low quality item and poor customer service from GE. August 18, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed The dishwasher arrived safe and sound, however when we went to install it, the instruction booklet had been stored inside the washer and was sopping wet, almost unusable for installation purposes and definitely worthless as a users manual. I contacted both GE and Home Depot and they told me to print out my own copy. They did not provide a dry version. The first day, the stopper attachment on the upper shelf fell off and I haven't been able to figure out how to fit it back on. I just reach in as best I can and manually pull the slider out, so that the upper try doesn't flop out of place. Also, the fact that there is no indication on the control panel of what stage of the washing and drying processes the machine is currently in. I wish I had researched this purchase more carefully. I felt comfortable with GE and Home Depot from past experiences. This purchase proved otherwise. June 13, 2015
