Have used these screws for years. I prefer the coarse thread but the fine thread work just as well. They can be torqued until they’re buried and the head won’t break off. They really never fail. I use the 1 &1/4” for drywall and the 2 &1/4” for wood construction.

Right screws for the job. They worked like a champ. They did real well. I could not use nails for this wall so I used the grip-Rite 3-in screw and it worked perfect. Highly recommend any Grip-Rite screw. I also used Grip-Rite sheetrock screws to hold the sheetrock.
