I couldn't be happier with this dryer. We purchased it with the matching washer and it has been such a wonderful surprise. I have a large family of 5 and this dryer can dry a huge load of jeans in less than hour. It also is very nice to look at. Worth the investment if you have a large family.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Momof4 Dries quick, lots of features, looks great
We've only had the dryer a couple of weeks, but it is amazing!
First, the capacity is HUGE! We have a family of six and we've cut our drying time in half and increased load size by about 50%. Needless to say, laundry goes MUCH faster.
Second, there are some great features. The ability to steam dry, use a rack, sanitize, are fantastic features for a house with small kids and dogs! I just throw the pillows in there with no worries about losing its form.
Lastly, and least important, is its aesthetics. The design is extremely nice. We have the graphite steel version and it's beautiful! The lights are all a clean LED white, the knobs and buttons are all attractive. It will look nice if it is out where guests can see :-) Also if anyone is wondering, graphite is pretty much stainless steel color.
My only beef with the dryer is that when stacked, you cannot see the top selections on the knob or reach the water dispenser without a step stool. It's about 81" tall stacked with its sister washer.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Matt Poor quality.
I purchased this dryer 9/17/2012 and as of 11/29/2012, it's broken twice...both times issues with power button. After owning for a little over 10 weeks, the dryer hasn't worked for three of them. Parts to fix are backorded until 12/31/2012. Not only am I upset with the product not functioning, I'm upset with LG's lack of support for my issues. Even though I registered my dryer with LG, I still have to provide a sales receipt for proof of purchase before a review of my case can begin...because I apparently could've carried the approximately 180lb. box out of the store unnoticed and stolen it, I presume. I thought spending $1,499.00 on a dryer would get me something of higher quality than I had or at least have some better customer service/repair or replacement programs. Having to wait a month for repair or consideration of replacement is unacceptable. I paid too much money to still be sitting here with wet clothes.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ddh514 These things are HUGE!!
This is my 3rd purchase of a front load washer/dryer sets over the course of 11 years (previously always Kenmore Elites). We moved long distance and didn't want to move our old set, so I decided to go with something bigger, since I have two large boys. There is not a Sears where I live, so I had to try a new brand. These clean perfectly (I use Gain liquid detergent if anyone wants to know, and wash in cold), and they're not particularly noisy, other than that they make some weird sounds perhaps. I like the stainless steel dryer drum, since it doesn't look all scratched up over time.
You could fit a large child in these, they are so big (possibly even a small adult). I actually stuck my head inside the dryer the other day to get that last little sock way in the back, and I'm 5'10"! It would help if these were on pedestals I think, but I couldn't stomach the added cost. We may build a riser or something.
One note though: The washer weighs a ton! I tried to move it 3" and had to use the wall as leverage to push against and toggle it back and forth. Took 5 mins or more. Make sure the delivery guy puts it exactly where you want it. They are also so heavy that I physically am not strong enough to adjust the height UP on one side, to level them with the leveling tool. They were level, until I moved them, and now the door swings open. :(
Speaking of the door. There is a little magnet that holds the door ajar slightly to let the washer air out after each load. Great concept, but I feel that it doesn't hold it ajar enough (my only complaint about this washer). Before I moved the washer those 3" (and caused the leveling problem aforementioned), I was leaving the door open about 6" to avoid what otherwise was a musty odor inside after about 24 hours of non-use. I am considering putting something over the magnet to keep it from closing so much (it gets close to the magnet and then pulls it closed). This would be more of a problem in a humid climate, I would imagine. I do not live in a very humid climate currently.
The features are plentiful. Sanitation cycle is great for when the pool towels get that funky moldy smell. The "add garment" ability is a must for me (some washers I looked at did not have this feature). I also love the ability to program a favorite cycle (press and hold - easy-peasy), since I tend to wash everything in cold (which is not a preset cycle). I've already washed a very fluffy/bulky queen size comforter in there, and although I kind of had to jam it in, it came out clean. I don't think it's quite big enough to fit my bulky/thick King size comforter though.
I find that I can fit about twice as much in this washer, than I could in my old front loader (Kenmore Elites), which means half the loads each week. The cycle time seems perfectly tolerable to me. Especially, given I do fewer loads. I used to have to do a load every day to keep up, and I'm finding I only do one every 2 or 3 days. One light load, and one dark load.
Can't speak to reliability, as these are still new, but I bought these partly due to the good Consumer Reports reviews, so crossing my fingers they last a long, long time.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JJCool Definitely worth the money
I was skeptical like most at first because of the price of this dryer. However, if you get the matching washer you're definitely going to need a dryer big enough to handle that load. It's worked great for us and I've really enjoyed the steam options. The lint filter is easy to clean and like everyone else our kids love the happy song it plays at the end. I would highly recommend this dryer. For a more in depth look at both you can check out my review on YouTube.

Dries twice as fast as my Samsung dryer. And it dries my kingsize comforter without a bit of trouble.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by jeffwichita great dryer, only three things I found annoying
This has been, overall, a great purchase. Tons of drying room and it dries in about half the time of my old dryer. The moisture sensor drying works great and the stream does as well. The selector dial is electronic and if you turn the dial too fast it doesn't change. When you are drying on permanent press the dryer just stops and the end of the cycle (no extended cool down or occasional tumble to keep the clothes wrinkle free). Really annoying is that once you are in a drying cycle, the only way to switch cycles is to turn the dryer off and back on.
