          Great Features!
In my experience, once a chainsaw blade hits dirt, it is done. You can re-sharpen it, but you are not going to get your job done today. Having a spare blade can save a lot of time and aggravation, and the Oregon S56T 2-Pack Chainsaw Chain gives you a spare blade right in the package. It is not exactly a miracle that it fits my saw, these things are pretty well standardized by now, but if you are not sure, the company's website has an exhaustive list of compatible saws. Cuts like a brand-new chainsaw blade. I've messed around with re-sharpening these things, but I can't seem to get the knack, for the price I just throw it away when it gets dull, so the two-pack is really great.

Great cutting at a great price
I don't have a great deal of experience with chainsaws or blades, but these Oregon chains work far better than generic ones that came on my chainsaw. I originally got one for use while the original was sharpened, but noticed this cut more quickly and easily than the original, even after professionally sharpening the original. Comparing the two chains I can see why (see photo): the Oregon gullet design will remove more chips faster. The cost of sharpening was more than half the cost of new blades in this two-pack (Model S56T-21, made in Canada) so for occasional users like me it's much more convenient to replace chains than sharpen them. I now use them on a battery-driven chainsaw and they cut beautifully. I highly recommend them.

I replace it with the 2nd chain can keep going while the1st one is being sharpened. The chains are 0.050 Gauge with a 3/8 in. low profile pitch Chain and has 56 drive links making quick work for the job I'm working on.

          Top Notch Chain
Of course from the Oregon company it has to be good. Very nice, crisp, sharp cutter links. Heavy connecting links and drives links are no slouch either. These chains will make my spring and early summer wood cutting jobs so much easier. Fitment is as expected. Once installed make sure you're getting lube thru to ensure longer life. I use a small bench mounted chain sharpener for even longer life.

Misleading compatibility with Echo chainsaws. The packaging lists Echo on the front. On the back it lists the Echo CS-352. But if you read the fine print it says, "Only when used with Oregon branded bars". I don't have an Oregon branded bar. I bought the Echo chainsaw at Home Depot. Maybe this will save someone the hassle of a return.

Response from The Oregon TeamApr 1, 2020
          Hello,

Thank you for your comment regarding the Oregon S56 you purchased. It is true that some original equipment bars require a different chain length than the Oregon replacement bars. We understand that this can be confusing and frustrating when purchasing a chain, It is always best to read the notes under the saw manufacturer to see if the chain is applicable for what you are running.

It fits my Makita as advertised. Cuts well. Took down a 16" diameter walnut.
