Answer:
6.7 is higher than 4.0 EPA safe limit. not sure if you are selling your property, but with this reading, you cannot sell without providing mitigation system.
in fact, there's no safe limit considering the fact that radioactive materials can cause serious health issue over time. the reading can be higher and lower depending on the season, weather, etc. in any case, i would test again to get the average

Answer:
You can try to call them, but It will take many calls to get a real person. If you log onto the pro-lab site with your sample number there should be a pop-up screen that will give some excuse why they haven't finished your sample. Good luck.
I reported this product as a scam to Home Depot Customer Service in Atlanta.

Answer:
I would toss the kit, it would still cost you $35 for the lab fee if you sent it in. I am going to try a First-Alert test as there is no lab fee and the kit cost is similar. Amazon.com

Customer Reviews

Rated 2.4 out of 5 by 45 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by don't buy this product if you want it back in time Send the test kit to prolab 8 days ago, still haven' seen the result. Don't buy if you are using it for a new purchase because it will be too late.... NO, NO, NO April 19, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very, very, very slow turn around time to get results Bought this kit because it was a short term kit and I wanted to get a baseline reading on Radon in the home. Put it in the mail on March 11, and as of March 21, I called and they say that they still have not received the kit. Even after they receive the vials, the processing time can be an additional two days to a week. I'm hosed. I have two days to determine if I want to back out of this sale. At this point the test kit provides no data for me in terms of whether or not I am going to buy the house. Waste of money. March 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by No problems I was a bit hesitant reading prior reviews, but I had already purchased the kit. I paid the $35 lab analysis fee by credit card in case of any issues like prior reviews, as at least I might have some recourse with my credit card company if results never materialized. Everything went as outlined in their instructions. I registered kit online with them on their website, maybe that helps with turnaround time. I completed testing on a Sunday evening (after 96 hours) and filled out testing card with appropriate information and mailed on Monday morning with included postage paid envelope. By Wednesday (from MI to FL in 2 days) of the same week I received email stating they received my samples. The following Friday (9 days after they received sample) I was emailed my results. You can pay an additional fee for quicker turn around time or express shipping if you would like, but I was in no hurry. April 2, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by PRO-LAB received samples too late, sent in their own return envelope, and also cashed $35 check for test results. PRO-LAB received our two samples too late, which were sent in their own return envelope, but they still cashed our $35 check on Jan 29, 2016 for test results which we did not receive. They offered to send another kit, which we declined, not wishing to do business with PRO-LAB. They would not refund the $9.98 for the kit, but finally agreed to a $35 refund for the check we sent, however to date, we are still waiting. February 22, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst item I have ever got at HD Don't waste your time and money. This is a really bad product and if you check the reviews on some of the other online retailer sites you will get an idea just how bad. I bought mine in the Home Depot store so I did not review it first. For the money spent I received nothing in return. February 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Plesently Surprised at Speed of Report I bought this when I saw it on the shelf at Home Depot. Reading the reviews after, I immediately regretted it. Alot of people seem to have problems getting timely reports. But I had it, and decided to use it instead of return it. After sending in the samples, I received an email acknowledgement "we have your sample" in only a few business days. In 3 or so days from then, I had the report. The levels reported were within 1 pCi/L of a report I had done 2 years ago, and paid much more for. So the accuracy appears reasonable too. All in all, I'm pleasantly surprised that the level of service was quite reasonable, probably not going too far to call it excellent. June 29, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Communications mishap, but otherwise fine overall Bought the kit and the setup was straightforward. It's two vials you open and place in your basement elevated above the floor for four days, away from drafts and traffic. You record your start and end times/dates, close the vials, and ship prepaid envelope with the filled form. Note though there is an additional 30$ fee for the actual lab testing/results you can pay by cheque or credit card. Communications could have been clearer. They will send results via email and not via regular mail. In addition, they emailed my results to the wrong email address. I knew this because I waited six weeks until I finally gave them a call. They corrected it quickly and resent the results right away to my email address. Had I followed up sooner or they sent it to the right address, the lead time would have been a reasonable two weeks from the time I mailed the vials. Besides this hiccup and the additional lab fee, I recommend this important test be done in your home for added peace of mind. September 18, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Only one of three kits mailed were actually analyzed... We bought three kits for three rooms and mailed them all in on the same day. A week later we got notice that one of the three kits had been received by pro-lab. And another week later we got analysis results for that kit. Never heard back for the other two kits. I *know* the USPS doesn't lose 2 of 3 mails, so I have to assume pro-lab does. :-( October 30, 2015
