A:  Everbilt 5/16 in. x 5-1/2 in. External Hex Hex-Head Zinc Plated Lag Screw (25-Pack) is durable and follows the ASTM standard.

A:  Yes, it's a structural lag screw. We used them to attach the rafters of a lean to style porch roof to the house rafters knowing they would need to hold the weight of heavy snow.

A:  There are a few possible options for bolt extractors on homedepot.com. An example product that looks like it may work is https://www.homedepot.com/p/313833017.

A:  Easy-outs are pretty universal, not made for just these. If you purchase an easy-out set from HD you drill a hole in the shaft with a drill bit and then use the easy-out to run out the bolt backwards.
