A: I don’t think it will work on Baldwin door locks since the design of the cylinder is not the same. You must call the Baldwin manufacturer if they do carry a re keying kit as the pins configuration are similar to the one you showed earlier. There is a video instruction that are available on the internet about the door lock that you want to do.
A: Thank you for your inquiry regarding this item from Prime-Line Products. No this is not the correct item for a Baldwin lock. Baldwin locks use a Schlage C keyway.
A: Yes, this kit should work as long as it's not one of the fancy new (self-rekeying) type of locks, including deadbolts.
A: Thank you for your inquiry regarding this item from Prime-Line Products. There are 3 keys that come in the kit.that are the same to fit the pins and instruction in the kit. There a a number of different key numbers that come in the kits.
A: The kit contains 3 identical keys and enough pins to rekey 5 locks.
A: Sir, by making a close look at the package itself it has 3 identical keys and couple of cylinder pins in different lengths and colors for easy to follow instructions. With the number of pins required in each cylinder such as main door lock and a dead bolt cylinder the kit can replaced at least 3 doors. It comes with Tool removal to remove and reinstall them back. Instructions and some illustrations will help your the step by step will guide you to complete the job. Precaution that you must be aware: when your try to slide out the cylinder plastic tube be sure to slide it slowly and maintain same direction as you push it in as the tiny springs might get out of position or get damage. That’s the only critical steps that you have to watch You can also go to YouTube video presentation so you can play back and forth until you fully get confident what you are trying for a do it your self approach. Hopefully every details that you need to know before start doing your small project will be done in a successful and at ease. Good luck
A: The kit comes with three keys and pins for six knobs and/or deadbolts. The three keys are the same and will be the new keys used for the lock set that the kit is installed in. So, if the kit is used for six lock sets and following the instructions in the kit, you will have the same set of keys for all six lock sets.
A: You get 4 keys that are all the same. The new pins help you change your lock sets. Dead bolts and door knob lock set.
A: I think they will work as they are constructed similar. So kit contents such as tool removal/ installation, colored pins and lengths required to replace and pin relationship to the key tooth depth. Also go to YouTube that shows on how to replace a cylinder key lock/ dead bolt combination.
A: NO, Kwikset only, but I believe they do have kits for Weslock.
A: No

A: Should work on Weslock. The clips and internal workings are very similar to Kwikset locks unless it's one of the more expensive decorative door locks.
A: If a Kwikset KW1 fits in your Weslock deadbolt then it would probably work providing the pins are interchangable .

A: Yes, you cannot use this with the smartkey locks.
A: don't take the chance, should not work !
A: Call kuikset they will better know. My local lock smith does not charge very much when im in dout
A: According to my Google search, "SmartLock" means that you have a remote control capable lock. I don't know what type of internal workings (with key locally) it has, but I would guess it is the "Smart Key" type explained in this video I found. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p5MQz3JjZl8. It is (supposedly) easier to change keys on than the "regular" lock set since you don't have to take the lock cylinder out, but also requires a different re-keying kit; one without pins like this kit comes with. I have used several of these kits on dozens of locks and it isn't really that hard (after the first 5 or 6)
A: Thank you for your inquiry regarding this item from Prime-Line Products. No.Do not use this kit of this lock. A SmartLock do not require replacing pins. There is a specialty tool that comes with lock. A: No, I don't believe it will. The object of the smart lock is to be able to rekey without disassemly.
A: I would bet this will work. Maybe go so far as to remove the cylinder (instructions are pretty good for Kwikset) and save the pins just in case. Place the new pins in with the key inserted into the cylinder and verify that it makes a smooth edge on top - otherwise it will NOT go back into the housing or worse yet get stuck. I have used 2 of these kits on knob and deadbolt locks; procedure for removing the cylinder for each is different and I have found that knob locks even vary for Kwikset (2 styles). Hardest part is removing the locks from the door and taking out the cylinder. If you get that far via the instructions, you should be home free. I purchased a set of 5 different pins in bulk online and now have unlimited key alike capabilities as well as reusing old keys of which I seem to have accrued hundreds. Good luck
A: I really don’t know if it will work with other locks. I lost the keys and liked my current locks and doorknobs .T
A: Should work fine, they are copy cat kwikset locks.
A: The instructions were clear that it would work only with Kwikset.
A: Thank you for your inquiry regarding this item from Prime-Line Products. The Guard Security brand of locks are supposed to have Kwikset keyways. Therefore, this item should work to rekey it. You can contact the manufacturer directly with your questions regarding this item, or any other product manufactured by Prime-Line Products by calling their toll free number at (877) 649-9740, or by contacting them by email at info@primeline.net.
A: unlikely, this kit is for early kwikset (pre-smart key)
A: Im not sure, if in doubt ask a locksmith. It might be a goid idea if any questions aout it you just might as well have the locksmith do it. That way you know its done corretly and you wont have any problems re keying it yourself as it is a bit tricky, without your springs flying all over the place. Good luck
A: looked online about the CES euro profile cylinder lock. Look at https://www.allaboutdoors.com/Article-HOPPE-Cylinder-Installation-and-Rekeying see if that helps. Don't think you need Kwikset Re-Keying kit for this job.
A: Thank you for your inquiry regarding this item from Prime-Line Products. This kit is used on cylinders that have a keyway of Kwikset. You would have to check if a your cylinder can accept this manufactures key blank. There is not a cross reference to give you if it will work. A: I don't know. But you can buy a replacement kwikset or schlage cylinder from Anderson. Then, you can use the rekey set to change the keys for that cylinder and also for the door locks on your door. So you only use one key to open both.
A: absolutely not ! just buy schlage rekey set !
A: No, schlage and kwikset keys have different profiles. Buy primeline's schlage kit: Model # E 2402 Internet #100173492 Store SKU #217291
A: Nope. Kwikset only. Maybe there's a different kit though?
A: No, this kit is only for Kwikset brand locks.
A: Thank you for your inquiry regarding this item from Prime-Line Products. This item is not for a Schlage C keyway. A: maybe, if you have a kwikset lock cylinder in it...
A: Thank you for your inquiry regarding this item from Prime-Line Products. This can be used on an existing lock cylinder that has a keyway of a Kwikset, Weiser or Weslock. You must use the keys with the pins that come with kit and you cannot use an Kwikset, Weiser or Weslock key you have. You can contact the manufacturer directly with your questions regarding this item, or any other product manufactured by Prime-Line Products by calling their toll free number at (877) 649-9740, or by contacting them by email at info@primeline.net.
A: Is the current key a KW1? If so that's a start. The kit is designed to only work on the entrance door knobs, but if you can get your lock out of the door itself, I'm sure this will have some of the same assembly features. The pins will actually fit any keyed lock, all pins are universal. What this kit is designed for, not necessarily your application, but will definitely assist greatly. If you can just get your tumbler out of the lock, your in good shape to re key it providing both locks accept the KW1 blank.
A: no
A: Yes if it’s keyed you can take the cylinder out it should work But without a image I’m just guessing
