A:  To my knowledge, each key is unique to its machine. Perhaps you can contact the manufacturer with the model and serial number to obtain a replacement key. I always remove the key after the mower goes back to my shed (and keep it in a secure location)...in the event that the mower is stolen, it will not function without that key.

A:  don't believe so. it's very large and heavy. Does not fit my weed wacker at all. I would not consider buying this mower i had terrible results that i returned it. Had to have it in a repair shop for 6 weeks after 2 years.

A:  I have a short, steep hill from the city sidewalk to the lawn. It is steep enough that I can't walk up it. The lawn mower climbs it with no problem. I have some lessor slopes that I can mow along the slope, but anything more then 30 degrees isn't really safe to mow along.

A:  This mower is beyond quiet.

A:  I don't know the decibels, but this mower is very, very quiet. I am sensitive to noise, and using this mower doesn't bother me at all.

A:  I’m not sure of your grandfathers stability but as long as he doesn’t engage the sell propel feature, this mower will serve him well. It’s easy to use, quiet and does an excellent job

A:  Mine cuts the grass but does not self propel most of the time. Occasionally it will kick in, but often just doesn't work.

A:  If it starts like you say, make sure the blade is moving (carefully). If yes, maybe just lower the height adjustment? This is if you haven’t tried these things already.

A:  I am interested to hear how this is resolved, because I tried to use my new mower for the first time today and had an identical experience -- the motor starts, the machine propels forward, but the blade does not engage at all. The bag is in place.

A:  You need to have the mulch attachment securely in place or the leaf bag attached. Some grass types are harder to cut. Go at a slower pace and cut half the width of the mower each time.
