[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] hinge on top seems very roughly cut and uneven, and didn't come with a cap to cover it which I thought was standard. shelves don't fit snugly.

It has no lunch meat drawer that I didn’t notice when I ordered it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 17 year old fridge finally quit on me and I really wanted to find one that was just like my old one and I did! This Amana is actually better than my old one! I'm so happy I bought it.

Shelves "perch" on tiny little knobs protruding from the sides of the interior. Bizarrely, the shelves fit tightly in the rear of the unit but loosely in the front (see photo). So the fronts of the shelves are just barely touching those protruding knobs. If anyone bumps the shelf even a little bit side-to-side, it can fall completely down! I've resorted to using nanotape on the shelf knobs to try and prevent further catastrophes, but it is ridiculous that the fridge is designed with so little support for the glass shelves!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this about a month ago. I was without a good working refrigerator for at least 6 months before that. I thought I wanted one of those fancy fridges. This fridge has been wonderful. It has all the space I need plus more. The temp is great. I have had this thing completely empty and filled to the max and did not have to worry about things not getting cold or staying frozen. Plus it is a great size.

Well, do not give up! I finally found exactly what what I was looking for, with all the features I wanted: stainless steel, a lot of compartments, quiet, and the perfect fit! Thank you, Amana!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a month ago, and happy with the fridge.

Fingerprints on it are hard to clean off even with using stainless steel cleaner. It also scratches easily so cosmetically, it doesn’t hold up. It always looks dirty near the grabbers to open the fridge. We were willing to overlook these things since it seemed to work well and was within our budget however, after 2 years, it has stopped working completely. Our food is rotting in coolers because the repair person (via our home warranty) said it will take a week to get a new control panel. Do not buy this refrigerator.

It is an attractive refrigerator with clean lines. The stainless steel obviously does not have a very high nickel content, smudges easily and is difficult to get really clean. The sound it makes while running is noticeable but not annoying. The doors have the same handle indents on both sides with no cosmetic way of covering them on the hinge side. The interior of the refrigerator is bright but the freezer is dark (no light). The produce drawers are very light duty. The ice maker froze up into a solid block of ice within 48 hours of plugging it in for the first time after dumping only one small rack of ice chips. I will call Amana soon.

Refrigerator is constantly to cold and freezes vegetables., even after adjusting the temperature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If this unit worked properly, it would be exactly what I am looking for: A no frills refrigerator. The freezer would keep my frozen food frozen and the fridge would keep my cold foods cold. Unfortunately, the fridge freezes everything. Even after the repair guy came and changed the computer and thermostats, it's still freezing my milk, cheese, eggs etc. Pretty gross when you go to pour milk on your cereal and it comes out chunky.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great, standard refrigerator. Layed out well. Works as required. However, when taking shelf retainers in door out of freezer (to remove the protective plastic film from shelf bars), the brackets did not fit back in correctly. I had to take a moto-tool to open slot cutouts in brackets from the backside to get brackets back in and not make a cosmetic mess of things.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a tight fit in my very limited space but is working very well and it as a great buy. Just wish I'd ordered the ice maker at the same time I ordered the refrigerator, could have save me a bundle on s&h and installation.

30-inch Amana® Top-Freezer Refrigerator with Glass Shelves

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not know this brand of refrigerator. I both because was the only size of refrigerator that fit in my old kitchen. But I am so happy with this Amanda brand! The top frieze is excelente size and all features work perfectly. I would recommend, yes!!

This fridge has a tragic flaw. If you need to reverse the swing of the door so that the door opens on the right, you can't. The hinge is too large, creating a gap between the door and the cabinet. We never even plugged it in because there was no point in running a fridge with a giant leak like that. I called Amana and was told they are just now finding out about the issue, which will affect all of them. So if you need your fridge to open on the right side, absolutely do not buy this one.

Terrible quality and rude delivery team. Wouldn't answer questions. Damaged levelers switching door. Scheduled repair appointment and never showed up. Sharp edges on doors. Dangerous.

Rough and sharp edges to door corners

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm mostly pleased with this refrigerator. However, I should have been more careful when ordering. I didn't realize that the shelving on the door was not movable. There's very little space for very tall bottles. Other than that there is lots of room for everything, and I am happy with this frog!
